Horrendous experience dealing with this Napa store owner, Ron. Installed and had to uninstall multiple alternators that ended up testing bad on their machine off of the shelf. Ron was unwilling and downright rude about making things right for me. He hung up on me multiple times when pressed on the issue, as well as questioned my technical knowledge. Well my technical knowledge doesn t matter. A professional mechanic did the installation the second time around because I thought maybe it was me. But it wasn t, it was their part that tested bad on their tester. Grabbed a new one off of the shelf, wouldn t ya know it that one tested bad too. 15 hours of labor, 3 alternators bad from the get go and weeks of my vehicle down. But Ron didn t want to hear or even acknowledge this, acknowledge how incredibly frustrating this must be for me. But the facts are the facts. We were installing multiple bad parts from Napa. Period. Instead of owning up to the massive headache they put me through, he wanted to blame me instead of taking accountability. It s sad that we are seeing that more and more today from corporations. Even more saddening to see it from a local business owner in our valley. Anthony and the other staff are fantastic, but if you want parts that aren t stood behind. Go to the Carbondale Napa and buy parts from Ron. If you want to deal with friendly, understanding people. Go to the Napa in Glenwood.

Great customer service. My truck's alternator went out down the street and one of the employees drove over and helped me jump the battery. When I ordered an alternator, the lady at the front desk was super helpful and informative. Everyone there was humble and good to talk to while I waited for the jump, and helped me when I was in a pinch.

Bought battery for truck. Sales person said he couldn't put in because of electronic pairing, battery had to be professionally installed. Sent me to Sunburst store for installation. Sunburst mechanic knew nothing about electronic issue. It turned out the NAPA was completely misinformed and I installed the battery myself. Salesman also stated he knew nothing of 20 percent discount that was advertised on NAPA site. Terrible service and misinformed employees passing out bad information.

In Reply to Luis, we not only explained to his dad that the battery was good before he made the purchase we offered and charged the old battery for free. It was our understanding that he still wanted to purchase a new battery. As for the racist comment we have a sign on the front door and also a memo on the invoice that merchandise is returnable in New Condition which this battery was not and had been installed. I did explain the sign and memo were in English and not Spanish. The battery was installed by Luis's father and did not solve the customers problem. I would suggest that we have many very good repair facility's in the area and Luis should have his father take his vehicle to one to have it repaired as they are able to test the entire system. We do our best to provide customers the best service possible unfortunately customers often do not create a good environment to do that.

It s an auto parts store after all but a few of the employees were less than helpful. One girl was quite helpful. Anyway they have a really clean bathroom and that saves them from a lower rating.

They very kindly let my granddaughter use their restroom. It was an bathroom emergency. Not the usual remark, but two businesses had turned us down, and we appreciate the kindness.

Good selection, decent stock, and knowledgeable people. The hours are the reason its 3 stars. 4pm close on the weekend is a bit lame, i only use stores like this for convenience and quick availabilty. If they are close and i have to wait next day then ill just order online.But overall good place

Excellent! Dakota at the Carbondale Napa saved my life last night. During a torrential down poor while driving on Hwy 82 my wiper blade flew off! Not only did he help me find my sizes he even came out in the downpour to tightened down the passengers side mechanism that had come loose and stopped working. I walked in right at closing time and he was still so happy to help me. I don't know what I would have done without this help.

My co-worker John went to NAPA to change out a battery on one of our company field trucks. Austin at NAPA helped him out tremendously! The battery ended up needing to be replaced, Austin got his hands dirty tested and replaced the battery that was tucked away in a tough to get to spot. Thank you Austin for helping out John and the community!!

Very bad service from two employees from here. I ve had good customer service from a lady and another guy but the two younger guys need lessons in customer service. They are just plane rude and act like they know it all.

I went to napa without knowing what I was looking for because I don't know nothing about lights on cars but there was this guy Austin luckily for me he figured out what I needed very cool and attentive and at the same time he knew what he was doing I could see the difference between napa personal and other places thanks guys for all your help

So my dad went to NAPA AUTO PARTS in carbondale to check a car battery and he is not a good english speaker and the guy didnt explain to my dad good about his old battery being good and just needed a charge. So they let him buy a new battery why? Because they didnt explain his battery was good. So he went back to see if his old was is good to take the new one back and they wouldnt take it back. The owner was very rude and kinda made a racist coment againts my dad. I told him that he doesnt speak very good english and that nobody attempt to stop him from buying a new battery or tried harder to explain his old battery was good. The owner told us that we live in America and that he should speak english, but when most of their customers are hispanics. I think that they took advantage of my dad for not understanding english and sold him a new $130 battery when the one he left charging was good, but according to them its my dads fault for not speaking english and not reading the return policy when it its not written in the receipt.

They didn't have a replacement coolant overflow reservoir, so the guy showed me how to fix it with gorilla super glue gel. I'm in the road again.
