Re: 1995 Buick Century Wagon 96k milesBaby BlueBaby blue dreamboat threw Shane and crew for a loop when I brought her in for turnover no start problem. After a few times not being able to identify what ghost was responsible for this, the corner of his keen eye identified the culprit. A piece of ignition wire had broken and managed to weld itself onto the exhaust manifold. He repaired it and secured it so it would not happen again.Coils were also replaced.My dreamboat CRUISES so smooth and proud!I am the happiest when driving my Buick (who wouldn't be) and am so grateful and pleased with McNeil motors for taking good care of us Thanks Shane and crew for truly loving your craft and keeping all of us safe.

Shane and his crew at McNeil Motor Cars did a great job getting our 47 Willys safe again with working brakes. I know the job was tough and definitely appreciated the constant updates and quick turnaround!Shane has also done oil changes on my trucks.Thank you for being our go to in Buena Vista!

Fast and great service! Had a noise coming from tire area. They got me in within a day, diagnosed with 30 minutes and out of there within an hour. Charged a very reasonable price!! And vibe overall was excellent!!Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Shane and the rest of the crew were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable, communicative, friendly and professional. Not only were they timely, but have very fair pricing. I couldn t recommend them more! If you have any automotive needs in Buena Vista, these are your guys!

Was done on my luck and had really just nothing and tire was so bauld it should be illegal to drive on , so we gave these guy a called and he got us right on it and I was able to afford it all thanks guys your the best !!! I will be back

Friendly and fast service! I drove to BV from Austin, Texas, and had some dash lights coming on for tire pressure and oil. I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong. Shane took a look at it on a Saturday when all the other shops were closed and reassured me that everything was safe. I ll definitely be back if I need any work done and recommend McNeil.

Haven't had work done by Shane in a long time but here goes.Phenomenal group of people who will always have your best interest at heart. I rarely trust people, so the first time was definitely nerve racking - and then, I kept going again and again. Learned more about cars than I could've imagined, and will always love the atmosphere Shane always brought.If I'm ever even remotely close... I'm pulling up. Always.

Have used Shane and his mechanical skills for a variety of needs all of which he resolved quickly and readily. He is an enthusiastic multitalented guy who works with a sense of urgency hard to find in our small community.He is a loyal generous guy and pricing has not only always been more than fair, but he genuinely goes out of his way to help those in need. Same can be said for Krista who has always been a rock star with my vehicle details as well as an interior tint I needed removed. Strongly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We needed to get our 2002 Tahoe in to get some things fixed; oil change, check engine light, filters, etc for a trip from Colorado to Oregon. Found out fuel pump needed to be replace and they did it right away. They got us in and fixed all the issues and added a car detail from the Detail Girl. As more and more people come into our community I hope the wait time doesn't get too long, but we were so appreciated of their fast and attention to detail service.

My van broke down last year (2022) at the car show they hosted. Shane wasn't able to help being it was a big job and he was booked up, BUT when I got the van back from another mechanic it wasn't running properly and that mechanic refused to take responsibility Shane was able to diagnose the problem and get me going! Then there was the Nissan versa he brought back from the brink of death. All around solid dude and plays the hell of some strings!

McNeil auto got my car in on an emergency basis not to mention it was a Saturday and had my car fixed and drivable within a couple hours and reasonably priced! A month later I stupidly had a tire blowout and last minute needed another appt asap and no one hesitated one bit to get me scheduled the same day. Such a pleasure to have found an amazing group of people, trustworthy and helpful! Thank you, to all the staff!!Services: Auto tire replacement, Auto maintenance, Auto brake replacement
