Passing through during a road trip, and our car started making some BAD noises. We stopped by Big O Tire, they couldn't help but sent us to another mechanic who was also booked out for the day. We decided to try Antero, and we couldn't have had a better interaction. Right as we walked in, Nobert greeted us and asked how he could help. He took our truck for a quick test drive, jacked it up, got underneath and gave us a quick and accurate diagnosis. We were okay to continue on our way. Thank you, Nobert! We hope to live here one day, and he will be our mechanic of choice.

This place saved us on our road trip. We got into a hit and run on a Friday afternoon just at the start of the long weekend. I called 3 other places, and only Antero answered. I am so grateful that they stayed open for us to come and inspect the damage. Mr Gonzales was so kind and even nailed down a broken flap from a previous accident. I m forever grateful to him and would recommend Antero to anyone needing auto services.

Antero Automotive is a great shop with honest people and reasonable prices. Once again, Nobert and his staff have helped my family in a bind. I can not count how many times Antero Automotive has diagnosed and fixed problems on my vehicles that other shops where unable to fix. I highly recommend Antero automotive.

These guys are AWESOME! Saved us. Friday before Labor Day our jeep broke down in the City Market parking lot. A sweet angel, Tara, came by and told us to call Antero. Talked to another angel who spoke with her husband, Holbert, who was the mechanic, who asked if he could help us at the City Market parking lot, we just figured getting a tow would be next to impossible Labor Day weekend. Came to us and fixed our jeep within the hour. Amazing people in Buena Vista, good hearted people who want to help. Highly recommend Antero, honest and helpful

Best mechanic I ve ever had. Came in with a bunch of liquid spewing out of the bottom of my engine, I couldn t tell what it was. They diagnosed it within 5 minutes, and got the radiator joint fixed within 4 hours. The guy stayed after hours to work on it, and fixed it within the same day for an extremely reasonable price. Can t recommend them enough!

My girlfriend and I were returning home from a camping trip and our radiator blew in Buena Vista; we were stranded. We called Antero and they were amazing; they drove us to our hotel since we were stranded, they didn't have our part in stock so they drove to go get it in Silverthorne, they stayed open on their day off to make sure we got home safe, they delivered our car to the hotel when the repairs were complete; the price came in under their quote and the car is running great! I wish there were more stars than 5 because Norbert and his family are the best mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of doing work on my car. How often do you hug your mechanic when your car is finished?Service: General repairs & maintenance

My car broke down while passing through town and required a major repair. Antero was able to get me in when others couldn't. Instead of me having to cancel my trip and get towed back to Denver, they helped me get back on the road quickly so I could continue on my trip. Highly recommend Antero!

Antero Automotive saved us! We got an temperature alert just out of Buena Vista. Nobert quickly diagnosed a broken hose. He searched for a part with no luck, checked about getting a tow into Denver, and ultimately found a solution so that we could safely drive it to our destination. Without his help, we could have been stranded in Buena Vista for weeks! We are so thankful for Nobert!Service: Auto water leak repair

Want to give a big 5 Star shout out to Nolbert from Antero Automotive. After returning from a camping trip in Leadville, I was having issues with my car and I landed in Buena Vista. I pulled in to another mechanic shop which happened to be closed. After trying to start up my car again, I did not run. I felt I was finished and was stuck in town for the night. I tried calling other mechanic shops and could not get any answer. I decided to walk down to another mechanics shop to see if I could talk to someone in person. They could not get me in because they were booked solid. They told me to go a couple buildings down to Antero. I meet Nolbert and even though they were booked, he took the time to take me back to my car to get a quick look after I explained my situation. After looking at my vehicle, Nolbert told me If I could get it to the shop he would do a quick diagnostic to see if he could get me on the road. After getting it it to the shop with 2hrs till close, Nolbert found it was not properly grounded, fixed it in 15minutes and I was able to get back home that night. Thanks for helping me out Nolbert. I would highly recommend them to everyone. 5 star to the whole crew at this establishment.

We were traveling through the area, and our truck started making a loud clunk with every bump in the road. Literally all the car repair places we called told us it would be a week before they could even look at it.... Except for Antero!!! They found out we were traveling and took us right in, had the problem diagnosed (a loose sway bar), which they fixed, and had us back on the road in no time!!!! Can't thank them enough! Highly recommend this company.

I was in BV from out of town for a couple of days and had car trouble. Even though the shop was completely booked up for days to come, Nobert squeezed me in, had a look at my car, test drove it, and provided a recommendation on the likely issue and what to do. (Lucky for me, Hyundai s 10yr/100k warranty should cover it.) I really appreciate the neighborly willingness to help, especially taking into account that Antero didn t make any money off of helping me out! We had a wonderful experience here! Our battery died in BV on our way through town, (totally dead, wouldn t jump) which left us stranded 2 hours from home. We got towed over to Antero Auto because after calling several other local shops, they were the only one that answered and told us they could help. Helped us right away and were extremely nice! Helped us locate a battery at another shop, had it brought over, and installed it quickly. Saved our day. Thank you so much Antero Automotive!Service: Battery

We broke down 30 miles outside of BV the day before July 4. All the other repair shops said they would soon be closed for the next five days, but Nobert not only stayed open until our arrival by tow truck, but went and bought the part we needed in advance before that store closed! We met several members of his sweet family as he fixed our vehicle and were able to enjoy the rest of our trip. What a star!

We received above and beyond service at Antero Automotive & Alignment. We were visiting Buena Vista from Denver when our brake line was damaged in an incident involving a big slippery hill and a loose tire chain. Not only did they fix the problem quickly so that we could get back home, but they came and got us (all 8 of us!) since we had already proven that our van could not make it up the hill to where we were staying. They had to round up a vehicle big enough for us and all our bags. It's too bad that we live so far away, or I would be going to Antero for all our repairs!

Me and my family were on a camping trip in Mt. Princeton and my Nissan Xterra started misfiring really bad. We made it into Buena Vista and found Antero Automotive, they were really busy but the owner stopped what he was doing and diagnosed my vehicle. The #1 coil pack was bad. He drove to Salida to pick up the part, installed it and then picked me up in my vehicle and brought me back to his shop. He went out of his way to help us out and we were very appreciative as we live in Colorado Springs and were a long way from home. I would definitely recommend Antero automotive to anyone. GREAT service and reasonable price. Thanks.

Antero Auto has great customer service and that's hard to find now days. Heading out of town on a long road trip, had a leek on my truck. They got me in right away, fixed my leek and check my brakes, I needed new front rotors and brakes. Glad they checked, I am hauling a 30 foot RV. Recommend as your first and only choice. Car was overheating on a trip from Boulder to Flagstaff AZ. Antero Automotive was the ONLY place after calling 4 others that would check it out immediately with no appointment needed. Nobert and his associate Mike were able to replace my thermostat gauge within 2 hours. They were even kind enough to drop me into town at a coffee shop to wait out the repair. Antero seriously saved my trip and couldn't have been more helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Mike was outstanding and helping us with our jeep we were out here in a family vacation and our first day. I called and spoke to Debbie. Debbie was fantastic and helping us before they close got a sin fixed the problem with her jeep and help save our vacation. I can't think them enough they were loving caring outstanding people and we are there to listen and help us fix what was wrong I recommend them to anybody thank you thank you thank you.

This is my go-to place for auto care in Buena Vista. Norbert is an honest and caring mechanic. You will not be getting recommendations for work you don't need. Fare pricing, quality work, friendly folks. Front end alignments available. Call for an appointment.

My family and I were headed out to enjoy the beauty of winter and the natural hot springs when my car started overheating and broke down the autoshop stayed open until we got there with the tow truck then got us back on the road very quickly to get us safely home. They even gave us a lift to the hotel we had to stay at for the evening and offered to pick us up the next morning when my car was finished.

I had been looking for a mechanic in Colorado for 10 years.. Most places won't even call you back, these guys have great service and the did a great job on my truck.. It drives like a dream now and all the work they did was at a fair price..i would suggest them to anyone.. Our car broke down about a thousand miles from home and they were so gracious to work us in right away. They did great work and got us on the road again. Great customer service and good work on the car. Couldn't have been happier.

Had a rental with an issue and they took me in on the spot, in and out in about an hour. Very friendly, next level customer service. It wasn t a huge repair, but they seem like they know their stuff. Highly recommend

On a cross-country cartrip, our car died. The owner, Norbert Gonzales, could not have been more helpful, adding oil at his own cost and diagnosingthe sad state of our automobile. We ended up buying a used car from him - of which he added tires and then balanced them at no extra cost. He even took us to the DMV afterwards. No nicer, better service could have been had.

The guys were super helpful in the middle of my vacation. While they were too busy to pull my car into the shop right at that moment for a repair, they did look under the hood, help me diagnose the problem, and sent me on my way so I could deal with a simple repair...and get back to my vacation.
