We were visiting from out of town. We noticed we had a low tire about 4:45 on a Friday evening. We stopped in and they fixed us right up. They wound up staying a little past closing. They were super nice and I would recommend them to anyone!! It s nice to have great service! Thank you for fixing us up before we headed home.

I've never taken the time to leave a bad review. 3 bad experiences with Altitude.1) I got an oil change, they replaced air filters without asking, I was out the door for over $240. I had an appointment and it took over 2 hours, I was sitting there.2) I got an alignment and the one "yellow" reading was adjusted to 1/100th of an inch below the threshold for yellow.3) Now today, I made an appointment for an alignment last week via phone call. I show up and I wasn't on the books. They couldn't help me. Going on long trip tomorrow.It's a small town, no problems burning the bridge with this joke of a business.

These guys are amazing! Had a leak in my tire that needed fixed asap. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule and fix my tire on the spot!

This place is truly amazing. My 81 year old mom was on vacation in Buena Vista and having issues with her car. The check engine light came on and the engine was misfiring after spending a significant amount of money at a well known franchised shop for a tune up. The professionals at Altitude Tire & Alignment determined the other shop did not properly seat the plug wire and several other concerns. They fixed these issues and did not charge her anything. Altitude even helped her with a key fob battery and a burned out tail light. What an amazingly honest and knowledgeable shop. Wished I could give more stars.

4 weeks for a brake job when the parts were there the first week. Constantly lied to. About the second week I called pretty upset because they told me they had it in the shop and my people told me, it hadn t been. Then after four weeks, I was told there were two codes on it that they couldn t clear so I gave them the number to a dealer mechanic which they said they called, but didn t. I finally went and picked up my vehicle anyway because I told them I will just take it to the dealership and have them reset it. When I went to pick up my vehicle, the battery was dead, I was told they had just backed it out there. Mechanic gave me a jump and when I came outside to check, he had it hooked up to a computer. I asked him what he was doing and he said I just have a couple of codes to clear When I asked him what codes he didn t answer so I automatically thought it was the brake codes they have been trying to clear for two weeks. Sure enough, I drove it a couple hundred feet and the codes cleared.

Thanks to David and the team at Altitude for installing 5 new tires on my boat trailer. In and out in 30 mins and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend.

My Jeep had a cooling system problem at a trailhead. I went to Altitude and spoke to Trey(sp?), and he took a few minutes to take a look at my problem. He told me to give him a while, and when I returned, the problem was solved and I was good to go.I really appreciate him taking time to help me get back to vacationing.Thanks also to Collegiate Jeeps for recommending Altitude.

Broke down while passing through BV and the lovely people here found a local mechanic that could fix our brake line and located the part. Also let our family hang out in their waiting area the whole time, huge help!

My truck broke down coming down Monarch Pass and Altitude was able to make room in their busy schedule to look at my truck, in a moments notice.The team at Altitude was able to get my truck back on the road and helped saved my vacation.Thanks again everyone at Altitude Tire and Alignment.

Fast and friendly is how I would describe this shop. After another shop in town told me I needed to leave my car for 2-3 hours I called these guys, made an appointment, had my tires installed a couple hours later the same day.

I came in after being recommended to them, I was freaking out because my car stopped being able to go uphill and I had to leave for Boulder the next day to officiate my best friend's wedding. So yeah, freaking out. They squeezed me in, the owner worked on my truck himself, he was super super super awesome about explaining the problem & my options, he did NOT try to upsell me. I'm really grateful they helped me and I got to make it to my extremely important event!!!!!!!!!!

We were in town visiting friends when our truck started acting weird. We called on a Friday afternoon and they were able to squeeze us in and fix our truck so we could leave on schedule. We are so appreciative of their willingness to fit us in and the price was extremely reasonable. Would highly recommend!! Thank you!

Wow! Great service, our motorhome tire had a slow leak, they discovered right away it was a loose valve, fixed it and off we went! Great job! Thanks!

Blew out my radiator a couple miles from BV and was able to limp in. It was a Friday afternoon around 5, and they closed at 5:30. They called a few places, drove down to Salida on Saturday morning, picked up the radiator, replaced it, and my car was ready to go by Saturday afternoon. They aren't even open Saturday, but they were willing to help me out when I was in a tight spot.Great customer service, really upfront and honest, they go the extra mile, would 10/10 go again.Thanks Altitude Tire and Alignment!

Glad that I tried Altitude, I highly recommend this business!I found Chad to be knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. He spent a significant amount of time talking me through the various tire brands and their strengths and weaknesses. I love the tires he helped me select for my truck. His prices are competitive and their work was performed spot on and in a timely manner. I will be back.

Chad and the guys always fix what needs to be fixed and in good time. I never feel like I'm overcharged. They always look over everything to ensure that I will not have to keep coming back for more fixes. They have great prices and are always accommodating. They do all sorts of fixes, not just tires. And when you do need the tires they have a great selection. You won't regret coming here!

We've taken our fifth wheel toy hauler to AT&A for a number of things but most recently they replaced the OEM Lippert dual axle suspension mechanism with an air ride system that I provided for them. The system works awesome. They also greased the bearings again and replaced the tires. Chad and team provided excellent customer service to coordinate the work and their accommodation for my purchase and delivery of the parts was excellent. They also installed an air ride suspension system that we bought from them on our truck and are very pleased with it. Very Reasonable. Fair. Honest. We'll be back but hopefully not too soon :-)!!

As a BV resident, I'm thankful that a great tire shop has opened here in town. First and foremost, Chad knows what the heck he's doing but beyond that, his customer service is off the charts. He goes above and beyond to ensure the customer is taken care of and the work is done correctly. Thanks and I'll definitely see you again!

I am beyond thrilled with the service, pricing and overall awesomeness of the employees. We had to get a replacement tire ASAP while traveling across country. Since they did not have our tire in stock, they went out of their way to locate a tire for us and picked it up. Before mounting the new tire, they did an assessment to figure out why our tire was having issues and fixed the underlying problem. The gentlemen had us in and out in no time. I highly recommend this shop.

Jeremiah and company were quick, professional and extremely helpful when we pulled in with a low pressure warning light. We were in and out in less than half an hour with a repaired tire and wishes for a safe trip home.

These guys are awesome!!!!! Got called out of town for work I needed to get my jeep in for tires balanced and alignment do from playing out in the mountains. Called they worked me in got it done fast jeep drives straight and no shaking. Thank you guys I will be back and recommend your service to anyone. Very far on pricing.

Since moving to the high country a few years ago, our vehicles have practically been driven into the ground. Luckily we found Altitude Tire in Buena Vista -- they are vehicle miracle workers and actually do honest, hard work that somehow doesn't take all day. They are my family's only trusted mechanic and I would highly recommend their services to any friend.

Trey and Chad were awesome! They got my car in quickly and found the issue (which was luckily not as serious as I had originally thought). They gave useful advice and explanations on what I should keep an eye on in the future. Highly recommend these guys!

We were on our way through Buena Vista and we had been feeling a vibration that we were concerned about. We called Altitude and they were so accommodating and squeezed us in to look at our car and gave us peace of mind to continue on our drive. Other tire shops weren't as helpful and just said that they were too busy. We are very appreciative of their kindness and consideration for our situation. Thanks Altitude Tire and Alignment.

We were traveling through and had a serious wheel bearing issue suddenly arise. We called and they were available and took care of us immediately when no one else could. They were very thorough and showed us exactly what was wrong. These guys are the best. Great mechanics and nice people too!

Got a great recommendation to use Altitude from a friend I trust and my experience has been excellent. They have been super transparent about cost beforehand so that I know exactly what to expect. Fantastic service and trustworthy, my new go-to shop in town.

I cannot say enough good about Chad and Team! I came limping in with transmission problems. They worked me in their already full schedule and fixed other problems as they found them before sending me on down the road to enjoy my vacation safely. Thanks Chad and Team!
