I had my transmission fixed here in April. Some time in early October, late September my transmission started leaking so I had it dropped off at aamco. I was unaware and never made aware that they had a lot of warranty work in front of my vehicle. As a note as a franchise of aamco they have to repair work that is considered warranty work but can turn away paying customers to make sure they stick by their warranty. I say this because had I known I wouldn't have been frustrated because there was a lack of communication. After having my car for 3.5 weeks I got it back and the warranty work was done. I am happy with their work, and know that sometimes parts can fail. The only thing I have to say is that they need to do better on communication so people are aware of exactly how busy they are. This company does great work and if you need your vehicle repaired they can take care of it even if it isn't transmission work. They do whole car care and I would trust them with anything I needed done with my vehicle.

The service here is top notch! The manager goes the extra mile to make sure things are properly checked running smoothly. I am glad I took my work van to this location to have it checked out! Thank you guys!

Absolutely terrible! Go to another location! Had my transmission in my 2002 Tacoma rebuilt here 12 ish months later my check engine light comes on for solenoid 2 so I take it back and now it has been there 2 weeks and I have to call EVERY TIME I want an update. The manager says he will follow through and they are working on it but still nothing all the while I m paying for a rental car out of pocket. Absolutely terrible customer service!Service: Transmission

Honest and reliable service, great bunch of guys. Only shop I'll take my 3 cars from here on out. Not just a transmission shop either, if you need something done they can handle it. I couldn't be happier I found this place.

We were visiting the area when our car broke down. They were able to diagnose and fix it within a few short hours and for a VERY reasonable price. They were fair and made suggestions of things that could be further done when we returned home. They were knowledgeable and didn t take advantage of our situation, just helped us swiftly get back on the road. That even offered tums for our under the weather traveller. My wife's car stalled so I had it towed my favorite mechanic to be diagnosed. A bad transmission. The price for a rebuilt one to be installed seemed excessive to me. So I shopped around. The price I got from this shop was $1300 less and the warranty about the same. Their service was quick and every one was very nice to work with.The car runs great. Excellent repair shop! They fixed my CV axel and an emissions leak in my Jeep for a fraction of the cost other shops would charge and they worked with my car shield warranty to make sure as much of the cost was covered as possible! They are knowledgeable and transparent throughout the process and the manager I worked with, Jeremy, was very helpful and communicative. If you have car shield I highly recommend this shop as they will work with the warranty company and handle the whole process for you. I will definitely be back in the future. Really big fan of this location. I've taken a couple vehicles there for a few different services and the results have always been great. While I decided long ago that I'll continue to only use these guys, this most recent service solidified that opinion. Jaron and Jamie did far more work than they had to and were advocates for me when dealing with a warranty company. Absolutely amazing costumer service. I can't thank them enough. Jamie the owner, Jaron the manager and their team did a wonderful job taking care of us when our battery died, and our AC quit working. Chance provided me with superior service and communication !! This place is top of the line, honest, and dependable They fixed a transmission issue I had for a reasonable price, where another Transmission shop stated I needed a new Transmission without even looking at it. Casey and his team are very professional. They ve serviced my vehicle several times, first time major for a transmission replacement. I ve been so pleased with their accountability, punctuality, and care for my vehicle. They do it all, and even during these pandemic times they navigate and overcome to ensure you re happy with your experience. Keep doing what you guys are doing!

10/10 would recommend. They have an awesome team! I spoke with Casey who was able to quickly and efficiently find a time that worked with my busy schedule. As a woman it s tough to walk into a shop not knowing much about cars; the whole process can be nerve wracking and the AAMCO team made it easy to understand what issues my car was having and the reassurance I needed to feel comfortable. Anthony did an amazing job explaining what issues were being addressed and how to further maintain my car.

The crew went above and beyond for my car! They were helpful in getting the car to the shop and making sure that I was fully satisfied with the overdrive in my car! Casey and Jamie were great with checking up while it was in the shop and even after I drove it away! I would definitely give them 7/5 stars if that was possible! I couldn t be happier with my experience there and I will recommend these guys to everyone I know! If you need help these are the guys to call they are extremely respectful and just all around good people! Go here for any of your car s needs!

I was recommended to this AAMCO by a good friend of mine, to get my service engine light checked. Casey was extremely helpful and nice from our first conversation over the phone. I dropped off my vehicle and he had it checked at no charge. He was able to fix one of the issues per the codes that were coming out. He was extremely honest in regards to my transmission and after having it checked, he was under the impression that it was not the transmission, but the car's computer. I really appreciated his honesty because any other mechanic would had probably taken advantage of this and had charged me to fix something that didn't need fixing. Great customer service, and best of all very honest management. Highly recommend.

I had an overall good experience with an expensive repair. Our transmission was rebuilt and radiator was replaced for an issue that effects many Nissan Pathfinders. Almost all of my dealings were remote, I called them tow the vehicle for a pretty fair price, then was kept in good contact about the status of the repairs and only went to the office to pick the vehicle up. The repair took less than a week and came with a decent warranty. Friendly service for a difficult repair. Id come back if another vehicle failed.

My car started stalling while I was driving it, took it to Jamie, I already knew it was the transmission. Jamie and his team were able to get my transmission replaced along with other things like spark plugs, a sensor, and some tunes up done very quickly! Their customer service is amazing. My car is now running almost like it s brand new and honestly probably better than it ever has. 10/10 recommend.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I only trust Aamco. They treat you like family here. They are honest with what is going on with your car what it will cost. This particular AAMCO is owned by a father and son, so is family owned and operated.

My older truck needed quite a few repairs, so we took it to this shop. Jamie & Casey fixed it up, and I haven t had any issues with it since. The work they did on my truck was amazing, and they really cared about me getting it on the road in time for school. I can honestly say that this family owned business has a great staff, and they will do their absolute best for anyone that comes into their shop.

I took my vehicle in for warranty work. The warranty company did not feel they should cover the issue. After Jaime and Casey's crew did the inspection, they contacted the warranty company and convinced them it was IN FACT a part covered under the warranty contract. Casey dealt directly with the company so I did not have to argue about the warranty. The job got completed in a very timely manner, even staying after hours to complete so I would not be out a vehicle for an extended period. High class operation and will definitely go back there. Thanks guys!!

Trusted and true. Been there many times with two older vehicles, and they are the best - often even recommending waiting to fix something. So knowledgeable. And my wife loves them because they never talk down to her. All around great mechanics.

Can't say enough good things about this place! Casey and Jamie treated me fairly and honestly. They took the time to explain to me thoroughly with an understanding of the exact repairs that were required on my pickup truck. The pricing was reasonable and competitive. I will be recommending AAMCO of Brighton to all of my friends and family in the future. Keep up the good work guys!

New management is great! Jamie and Casey were great and communicated with me every step of the way. My job was a large one consisting of a total engine rebuild. I know what you are thinking, a transmission shop doing an engine rebuild? I thought the same thing but they completed this work and did it very well. They are the real deal and a complete any auto repair facility They didn't try to over sell me or put on parts that weren't really needed. They are honest, timely, knowledgable, and polite professionals. I can't say enough about these guys and the shop. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on a car or truck. I found a new place to take my vehicles for repair.
