I was driving on my way to Avon and i almost missed my exit (168) so i shifted my wheels right away but then i hit and got stuck in that super thick snow. My friend and i tried to dig in and cleared the snow around the tires but no luck. I called the Eagle Vail Towing as they were still open (24hrs). I spoke with Sam, provided the information and he was very accommodating (appreciate you Sam) and told me the driver will assist me upon getting out from that situation. 5-10 mins later, the driver arrived - Amir and he helped us out. It was kinda struggle cos something s blocking on the back wheels. Finally, he was able to pull the car safely. I appreciate your help Amir you did a great job! thank you so much and also to Sam. You guys both did great! Fast service and really friendly.

A group of us came to town for my wedding the first week of November 2023. The day before my wedding, the area received snow, nearly 10 inches at the cabin we stayed at in Blue River. My family began coming to the cabin for rehearsal dinner and we quickly learned that our driveway was impassable due to the weather. JD Towing was quick to respond and upfront with the cost. When they arrived, we explained that my father, who was to walk me down the aisle the next day, had recently fractured his ankle and we had many concerns on him walking down the driveway to the cars as so many others had already fallen. The drivers offered to drive their wrecker up the driveway and after checking the conditions came up with a new plan. Both walked to the top of the driveway, rigged a snow sled, and guided my father back down the driveway on the sled. 2 recoveries, 1 tow, and a sled ride later, their courtesy, kindness, and professionalism made this experience pleasant given the circumstances.

We got caught in some rain on a very muddy when wet road, impassable really. We came literal inches from sliding down into a ravine. I called and Sandra was EXTREMELY professional and so helpful in a very stressful situation. She quickly gave us an estimate that was reasonable and got us in touch with a driver. Unfortunately where we were necessitated a larger truck and Sandra called me back to inform me of the price difference (it was THE most reasonable price of all of the places I spoke with). We ended up getting out without a tow. She called us back to make sure we were safe. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism. Even though we didn t need their services, I absolutely would recommend these guys to anyone!

I found a nice young couple, and a huge pile of snow in the woods away from cell signal. I drove the wife back into town and called JD towing. They were exceptional. They had a tow truck down the road and two young couples car in less than 15 minutes. They were so responsive and so helpful. Car got stuck in driveway due to overnight snow. Other tow companies said they needed 3-4 hours to come, but JD Towing was able to send one in just 45 minutes. Once arrived, service was friendly, quick, and professional. Would DEFINITELY use them again!Service: Car towingService: Car towing

Our Hertz rental truck had a dead battery that needed to be replaced. John picked up a new battery and drove to our location in Breckenridge and swapped out the battery in short order. I work for a local hot tub company and one of my techs got stuck. None of us were able to get him out. I called JD Towing and within 10 minutes Matthew was on the scene and within 5 more minutes had my guy out. These guys are wonderful! These guys are absolutely professionals!!! I broke down on the side of the highway on a very busy part. I was calling around and couldn't get anyone to come out for several ho. I got a hold of JD s towing and within 30 minutes a very nice man named John showed up and had my car loaded up and on they way to the service within minutes. We had a 40 ft RV breakdown on our way back from Keystone on I70. While this was an incredibly stressful situation, JD Towing was awesome to work with. Simon was great! He was communicative before arriving and took care of everything when he did arrive. We even forgot a cellphone in the RV and he was kind enough to stop his tow when we came back and help us find it! Simon is one of a kind. This company is very lucky to have him. We were stranded on a mountain, just 6 miles up from Breckenridge and he rescued us. We will be forever grateful for him. He was punctual and professional, but also so personable. He s such a good guy. We believe that his level of caring is a direct reflection of this company. I called JD Towing yesterday when our van got stuck in the driveway. The dispatcher was friendly and courteous, and laid out the expected charges clearly. I Luckily a neighbor showed up to help us push the van out, and when I called to cancel the towing, they were super kind and didn't charge us. I had a bad situation. They gave me a good outcome. I live a mile up the mountainside in Blue river on a road that is unmaintained and I plow myself. Usually no problem, but on this particular afternoon I slid a bit too far to the side and wound up wheels deep in the snow. Looked like hours of digging and I had a flight out of the country from Denver the next morning. I didn't know if anyone would be willing or able to help in this situation. Called JR and they had a driver (Simon) out in 30 minutes. He was not able to get his tow truck up the road, nonetheless walked up to my stranded vehicle to access the situation. It's no easy walk so that was above and beyond the call of duty. With the help of his expertise and hard work, I was out and on my way to Denver in a hour. A huge relief given the possibility of missing a flight and possibly my entire vacation. My thanks to them for their fast and efficient response.Service: Car towing

Our car overheated in the mountains and needed towing. Because it was getting dark and it would be hours before roadside assistance could assign a tow truck, we decided for safety reasons not to remain with the car. Unfortunately, our roadside assistance service was unable to connect us directly to a service provider or confirm whether our car had been safely towed for over 12 hours because the service provider was unresponsive.We were grateful when they re-assigned the job to Simon. Simon called us at 2am to kindly confirm we were safe, and reassured us he would take care of towing our car the next morning. The car was not there in the morning when he arrived, and Simon helped us track it down by working with police. He was incredibly kind and resourceful during a stressful time, and we are so appreciative.Thank you Simon!Service: Car towing

Popped a tire on the way to Breckenridge. Called Cadillac roadside assistance (complimentary when under warranty) who then called JD Towing. We fixed the tire before they arrived but JD called me the next day to make sure we were ok. I said we put the spare on it but why don't you come look at the original tire before I drive 800+ miles back home and see if you can repair, then reinstall (for peace of mind). When he got there I asked, can you give me a ballpark price before we get going here? "No, I can't until i take it back to the shop. You just give receipt to Cadillac roadside." Right there is where you stop them. He made it seem like roadside assistance would cover the repair and reinstall when in reality he knew he was screwing me, big time. He knew this wouldn't be covered and purposely did not give me any pricing guidance. Charged me $150 for a "towing fee" which was literally just the tire being hauled back to the shop. How much does gas cost?? I would've taken it there. He came back from the after "towing" just the tire, put it on and I paid +$400 and tipped generously. A few weeks later the tire leaked almost all the air is now at 10 PSI. Thanks for nothing buddy.

I own a garage door company in Summit County. I was working on the Saturday of the New Years holiday weekend. I got very stuck in a customers driveway after a service call. I called JD Towing and the owner was there in 20 minutes. He was very skilled and professional and had me out in no time. The price was very reasonable considering it was a holiday weekend. I highly recommend.

I've used JD Towing twice, once when I had a dead battery, and once when I had a customer that needed lockout services. Both times, they were friendly and fast. They're not cheap, but they are professional and they are experts. Summit county is lucky to have them.

Car was stuck in our driveway. No price was quoted ahead of time. They told us they would call us in 15 minutes, but no one called. Called again and asked if they would still be coming and they assured us that they would. Took about an hour. 2 men came, pulled the car 15 feet down the hill and got the car unstuck in 20 minutes. Charged 575$. Read the reviews before calling them. We made that mistake and as we were desperate, forgot to read the reviews. So if you do call them, be prepared to shell out a lot of money.Service: Car towing

At night there was a big snowstorm, which did not let our car go up to the house. This was a rented car, where we were told the car was 4x4, but this was a lie. After trying several times and having nowhere to go, we were able to get in contact with JD Towing Company and Simon came to rescue us. It was tough, but he was able to solve the problems with the snow and took us safely home. We are very gratefull for everything he did, it was a huge struggle to go up but he didn't give up! I just want to say thanks to the guys at JD towing for being extremely professional and helpful. Yeah, it sucks getting towed and paying , but that s just what it is. I had lost keys to a rental vehicle on the mountain and didn t have a way to get the car moved. I appreciate you guys being able to work with me and allowing some flexibility. It was definitely a stressful situation and I appreciate friendliness and willingness to get me setup with a locksmith who could help me.

Do not waste your time with JD Towing, simply the worst customer service, highest prices and will tell you one thing and do another. Confirmed towing directly with JD Towing and was told to have my insurance provider call him directly to secure the towing service. He then told my insurance provider he would not accept the negotiated fee he has with them and tried to charge double (meanwhile screwing me over while left on the side of the road).

I never imagined that I'd be writing a positive review for a towing company, but JD Towing deserves some props. My cars were both impounded by my slumlord after a Court battle, but JD recognized that it was unfair and didn't charge me anything for the nearly 6 weeks of storage. He only charged me for towing (and half the cost to get them out.) He is a good man, and his driver was also kind to me. Despite the nature of their job, they were reasonable and far better human beings than those I've been having to confront...

Simon (if I m spelling your name correctly) saved our lives today.Unfortunately, we were cut off on Vail pass by a sports car which caused our engine to overwork and die. Very scary place to be, I have seen others be hit by semis at the very spot in years past. As I was getting ready to walk to safety and make a tow call, Simon pulls over behind us, rushes over to our car and stated that we are in danger and he will be happy to tow us to the next safest pull off (since we were still on the road at this point). Simon was patrolling the road when he came by us and made this generous offer. Thank you JD Towing for monitoring Vail Pass for everyone s safety.After discussing some plans with Simon, he stated he could tow us to Englewood where we lived. The price was incredibly fair and he even educated us on how to get our insurance company to cover it. He took care of everyone s safety first, even my dog safely left in the tow car as we drove to Denver.Simon is the most amazing individual. He provided my boyfriend and I with amazing tales of his past and made the three hour drive full of laughs, a pleasant distraction for a bad situation. Even as we pulled into our parking lot at home, he asked if we had a place to take our car tomorrow, a safe place to stay.JD Towing went above and beyond for us today. Please consider them if you need help on I70 around the Vail area!Thank you Simon, you literally saved our lives today.

I never met someone so unwilling to help. Worst customer service experience ever. They attempted extortion tactics which I registered with the local police. Save the time and check with Ski Country Shell and Towing in Frisco. Super friendly, super reasonable to deal with, and have basic humanitarian instincts. Avoid these guys at all costs. If I could give zero stars, I would. I rarely take to reviews but I wanted to register my disgust with this group and share with the world.

Absolutely awful place. My more detailed review was removed. Towing companies are certainly not popular, but this one is unbelievably dishonest, manipulative, and looking for opportunities to scam you out of money. The owner prevented me from retreaving my truck, and then charged extra for another night of storage because he was "too busy." There are certainly much better, more professional people operating these types of companies out there.

JD towing towed my car then I found a scratch. They said they did not document the scratch so I had to file a claim. Every time I called they said they would not deal with me and they hung up. The Breckenridge Police told me they would not deal with the case either. They said I needed to go to civil court and find an attorney. So I payed for my car to get towed and now have to spend the money to fix my car because I cant afford a lawyer.
