The whole team goes above and beyond to communicate, service vehicles on time and at the highest standard, and make sure customers feel like they're taken care of. I had a tricky repair situation and they fixed all issues in a professional and competent way. The whole team seems to enjoy working there and works well together. It's just nice to go to a place that cares about their customers and reputation.

The paint is holding up well after 8 months. The bumper fitment is excellent. Couple months after the repair my turn signal died. Nbd.. but when trying to change my turn signal bulb I couldn t because of some extremely pinched wiring. Couldn t free the wiring to change the bulb without disconnecting my headlight, and now the wire needs to be replaced. The last person to remove my headlight (and subsequently reinstall) was Gerber Collision. They changed my front bumper but damaged my turn signal wiring.

Gerber collision was awesome! they provided an accurate estimate for the repair, and were very fast and thorough. before getting my car they ordered all the replacement pieces they were going to need, including new sensors for the blind spot monitoring, etc, to make the repair process smooth and fast. luis was awesome and communicative and very helpful throughout the process! they worked with my insurance really well and offer a lifetime warranty on their repairs. i had a lot of damage done to the car and the repair only took 1 week, which was quite fast in my opinion! i will definitely recommend them to friends and family!!Services: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

Luis Chavez and the team crushed it on customer service and fulfilling promises.Nobody WANTS to come to the collision store. Luis changed my mind about the industry. (ok, maybe not all of them, but I certainly feel I can trust these guys in the future)They worked with my insurance company so I didn't have to.Clean and simple. Thanks guys.

Jeff and the guys at Gerber are fantastic! They painted some fender flares for me without even seeing my truck and matched up the paint perfectly!! I love the way the truck looks now. I will always take all my work to Gerber. They also worked on my wife's car after an accident in early November and the car turned out perfectly. The staff is professional and I love their follow up. They handled everything with the insurance company so that the entire process was painless. I highly recommend Gerber in Boulder!!

I was rear ended back in March, and my Volkswagen was towed here for repairs. They were communicative throughout the whole process, and were professional and friendly. They did an absolutely fantastic job fixing my car, and I m so happy to have it back. Hopefully I won t get in any more wrecks, but if I do, I know where I m going! Thanks guys!

I stopped by the shop to see what my options were for repairing my bumper, which had large, deep scrapes in it from a bad turn into a small garage. The manager, Jeff, greeted me right away and took a look at it. He immediately grabbed a few supplies and was able to fix up about 95% of it, at no charge! This really made my day, especially since I didn t want to put unnecessary repairs into my 15 year old car.He could not have been nicer or more helpful; a great experience!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my car in for an estimate (Gerber Collision - Boulder CO) on the rear windshield wiper arm and motor where the wiper arm was hanging too low. I was told by my auto repair facility that I needed to bring it to to an autobody for repair because potentially some interior panels may of needed to be removed to do the repair.The estimator and GM looked at the wiper, examined it. While figuring out what was wrong they ended up fixing the rear wiper.It took about 15 minutes. It now is working correctly. I was blown away. They went the extra mile to help me out. They refused payment due to the fact they solved the issue so quickly.The entire time I was treated super professional. I had used Gerber about 10 years ago for a dent in the rear bumper area. I was very happy with the service back then. That is why I went there again. I am sure glad I did. Collision repair centers don't always have the best reputation. This site is nothing but 5 Stars from my experience.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I'm totally blown away at how great my experience here was. Came to Gerber after I hit a deer and a good bit of my car was messed up. At a time when all other car shops were scheduling 3-4 months out, they were able to get me in for an estimate and repairs in a truly unbelievably short amount of time. The repairs look perfect. May 2022 Edit: Garber did another repair on my car and did an absolute great job. Thanks again, Jeff and the Gerber team!Gerber did a warranty repair on my car and I couldn t be happier. From the front desk employee to my service advisor Jeff I had a great customer experience. I was well informed of the progress and the work done was flawless! I definitely recommend Gerber if your car needs some TLC. Thank you.

Jeff and his team at the Gerber office in Boulder were incredibly helpful. My car got totaled, and Jeff explained what to pay attention to in the insurance process, and he gave great advice on what other information sources to consult. Their provided an estimate to the insurance within a couple days from the appointment. All staff I met (Jeff, the reception, and a mechanic) were very friendly, helpful, and patient with my many questions. I highly recommend this business.

Can't say enough good things about this place. Handled an insurance claim for us and got the repairs turned quickly despite how busy the auto body world is these days. Their team owned every piece of the process with great service. I have worked with other shops in Boulder area in past that were ok (just ok) and these guys are by far the best I have used. Gerber repaired cosmetic and functional damage to my front bumper area. Luis (my estimator) kept me informed throughout the repair process, including apologizing for a completion delay that was solely due to the availability of parts from the Volvo manufacturer distributor. Due to the delay of a couple days, the Manager provided a complimentary buff out of some scratches on my trunk, for which I have requested an estimate unrelated to the accident damage repair. The customer service was courteous, professional and responsive. The work itself was exceptional. Without revealing it myself, no one will ever know that I ran into my own carport! In addition, they communicated directly with my insurance company, which meant all I had to do was report the accident and pay my deductible. I would highly recommend Gerber in Boulder to anyone looking for high quality auto repair work combined with exceptional service.Service: Body & Trim

Jeff and the crew come highly recommended! Their exemplary customer went well beyond my expectations. From his rapid car analysis on the first day to the friendly communications until the day I brought my car in (even during a snowstorm week), they accommodated me and my broken mirror part was placed on within hours. I am super happy with the whole experience.

The manager, Jeff, and the staff (Michaela, Luis, Jacob) at Gerber did an excellent job of repairing 2014 BMW 435i (Looks like new!), which was damaged in a minor fender-bender. Like the rest of auto body shops in Boulder, they are extremely busy, but they got me in and out quickly and efficiently, were always very friendly and courteous, and did a very high quality job. Highly recommend!

Update: we are still waiting for some work to get fixed/completed after a couple of months.Not sure if my rating is accurate... We had a lot of trouble with Gerber, half the problem was the Colorado Springs store transferred our vehicle to Boulder with only part of the paperwork. We had a lot of issues that required the vehicle going back. Everything was fixed in the end but the whole repair was slated for 21 business days and ended up taking a little over 2 months. The stress and lack of communication was just not worth it. This review belongs to both Boulder and Colorado Springs stores. If their communication was better together this wouldn't have been as bad. I have used Gerber in the past but will hesitate before making that decision again. The end product is good and the work was clean.

Professional and Responsive from the First Inquiry to the Final Pick-up. I had a relatively small repair and contacted multiple repair shops in Boulder. Several never even returned my call. Jeff, From Gerber collision not only returned my inquiry, he treated me like a VIP customer from the initial conversation through to the day I picked my vehicle up. All of the staff were friendly and professional, and the work done exceeded my expectations (including cleaning the interior of our old car to the point where it felt new again!). In this time where all the Boulder repair shops are swamped and could pick and choose the projects they accept, I was very grateful for the way I was treated by Gerber's team. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I've dealt with Gerber Collision twice and both times were outstanding. The first time, they repaired my damaged car and they stuck to the estimate, finished in a timely manner, and 2 years later the repair is still perfect. The second time, the manager gave me some advice on a hail damaged vehicle and saved me from being scammed by the dealership.

I love this shop!! Jeff and the guys are awesome! I got hit with some road debris on my brand new car, stopped in to see what could be done, and Jeff immediately got my car back into the shop and buffed out all the scratches!!!! I couldn't believe it. I was so thankful. Wow, my car was brand new again. True professionals. You'd be crazy to take your car any place else. Michaela is also wonderful to work with. I'll be back to this shop anytime anything happens to any of my vehicles.

We didn't even get our car repaired at Gerber. I hit a deer going 45 MPH, had moderate body damage to the hood, bumper and radiator, but nothing extreme, so our insurance company towed our car to Gerber Collision in Boulder (one of their in-network shops). Our car sat on the lot for 9 days before we FINALLY got an estimate. The estimator tried to write us for a total loss! He tried to tell us we needed a new intake manifold, new horn, new fender... several things that were clearly not broken, as we and our insurance adjuster later found out when we inspected the car ourselves. So Gerber let our car SIT on their lot for more than a week, then fired off a shoddy estimate and tried to TOTAL us just to get our car off their lot. Wildly dishonest and crooked. Luckily, we did our own research on the cost of the repairs, and our insurance company even paid to tow our car to a different shop in Boulder because they were so shocked at the dishonest service we received from Gerber. Avoid these folks like the plague. They tried to game us AND our insurance company. **The only person at Gerber who was always nice to us was Alex who works at the front desk. Thanks for being so cool, Alex! You were the only bright spot during a week and a half of crap treatment.**--p.s.: We took our car to a different shop in Boulder and got it repaired. It wasn't even close to being totaled.

Update... They are under new management. They did end up having my steering wheel replaced and had much improved communication.Original Review:They caused damage to my car and NEVER called me back!!!I got an estimate. They did not email it to me as promised. I had to call to get it.I was supposed to drop off my car for repair. They did not have me on the schedule. I had to wait another week so they could order the parts.I dropped of my car for repair. They were supposed to call me to let me know when it would be ready, no calls. I had to call them 3 times to find out when it was ready.I picked it up and they did not properly tighten bolts on the undercarriage, so driving my car home was a huge safety risk.They damaged my steering wheel while they had my car!I took it back for them to check the bolts and complain about the steering wheel damage. They were rude and accused me of lying. They were supposed to look in to what could be done about the damage. They never called me back. I called corporate customer service, so I got a call back. They wanted me to drop of my car again. So I thought they were going to fix the damage. Instead they kept the car for 3 days, never calling to update me on what was going on and all they did was take pictures of the damage. I still haven't heard back from Boulder or corporate and I'm too angry to waste any more of my time. Don't ever take your car here!
