I can t say enough positive things about Andrew. He has become such a trusted and dependable resource for me with any car issues I ve had the past couple of years. You ll receive excellent service, sound advice, and overall be so well taken care of. It s hard to find an auto-shop where you don t feel taken advantage of. Look no further than Andrew! He is literally a breath of fresh air in this way - affordable and doesn t try to nickel and dime you for every issue like most places. Can t thank you enough, Andrew!

I met Andrew when I brought in my 2001 Yukon, badly needing some attention. He got me in quickly and treated it with utmost respect.Ended up bringing in my recently acquired 84 300ZX and it got similarly good treatment from Coyote. They did a thorough inspection and did quality, honestly-priced work on it. It s leaving in better shape than I got it.All throughout, Andrew was responsive and patient with my stupid questions.My point is, you can trust Coyote. It s an honest independent shop and they deserve your business!

Andrew and his team are amazing. They really care about what they are doing and how they do it. I do end of life work. Last summer, (2022), I was working very long hours. I didn't have time to bring my car down, but Andrew worked around my schedule to make sure that my car was safe to drive. He was able to diagnose and address some issues that two previous mechanics were not. He is amazing and is now my go to mechanic. He is kind and savvy as are the people who work in the shop. I am so grateful to have found Coyote Motors. My car is better because of them. Wolf and his crew are some of the most honest and knowledgeable people that have ever looked at my miata. I ve been bringing my car here for a little over two years and all the work done has always been satisfactory. I d definitely trust them with my Mazda.

I took my Outback to Coyote Motors for regular maintenance this week. Andrew is the chief mechanic and owner. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and a great communicator. He is cost conscious for his customers and consistently lets you know what each task will cost. The battery that I d previously purchased there a couple of years ago (before Andrew bought the business) was failing, but it was a week beyond the full replacement date. He got on the phone with his distributor and convinced them to honor the warranty anyway. I trust him completely and recommend Coyote Motors without reservation.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My first experience at Coyote was phenomenal! I know nothing about cars and they explained everything so thoroughly. I brought in my car for new pads and rotors, and they did a full inspection, noticed my key fob battery was low and replaced it (for free), rotated my tires after the previous tire shop didn t do it and explained why it s important, and then gave me honest feedback about what other repairs and maintenance I ll eventually need. I could tell how honest they were being. I feel truly taken care of and that I can trust them completely! I m so glad to have found my new mechanic, and have already recommended them to friends.

This is an outstanding auto repair shop, especially for Miata owners.Over roughly 3-4 years I have experienced nothing but consistently professional and reliable service from this buisness. 10/10The previous owners (from ~2 years ago is a guess) should be genuinely proud of how well the current owner has maintained an excellent reputation, and continues to give the business a good name.The current owner is clearly passionate, incredibly kind, and ultimately very fair. The staff are friendly, and take excellent care of vehicles. Their inspections and attention to detail notice the little things. I had several nagging issues with my Miata over the past year, and when the owner and I were able to have a very productive conversation combing our knowledge, he was able to figure some things out that were highly appreciated.This buisness treats you as a fellow car lover, and it really cannot be understated how valuable that asset is.

He's absolutely committed to giving an excellent experience to his customers, being fair, keeping customers informed, and delivering high quality results. The honesty of Coyote saved me thousands of dollars! Our car had a problem with the clutch. Andrew told us that there was an open recall in our car related to that, and he suggested us to take it to the official dealership that will probably fix it for free. Andrew didn't charge anything for this advice. We took the car to the official dealership and, effectively, they fixed it for free. Coyote is the best!

Coyote Motors is hands down, the best place to get your car repaired. Jill and Eric are so kind and really care about their customers. I moved here from out of state and I have taken my old '03 Matrix there for the past 3 years. As young female they have never tried to up-sell me on anything, (which I worry about going to car repair shops and has happened to me from other shops in the past). Eric really takes the time to talk me through the work and recommend to fix only what is needed. I appreciate them for continuing to keep my car running safely! Coyote motors is the only shop I've genuinely trusted. Fair prices, great work, extensive knowledge, and excellent service. I know they're not out to take advantage of anybody. Only shop I will go to as long as I'm in the Boulder area.

Best service experience I ve ever had and it s right in Boulder. Won t be going anywhere else for my Mazda CX-5. Andrew can distill his work down so anyone can understand and isn t looking to just make a buck. excellent service and extremely friendly staff. went over every detail of the inspection with me as they were doing it and taught me a few new things about my car. Will be the only shop I take my Miata to despite the hour drive from south Denver.

An overall excellent experience. Jill was friendly, helpful, and squeezed me in on a Monday during a busy week. I brought my car to the shop at 0900 and Eric assessed my Mazda quickly. He identified the issue, explained the entire situation to me, and had the car repaired by 1500 the same day. Of note, my brake issue was unusual and Eric provided me additional guidance on contacting Mazda and a previous mechanic for possible compensation. Thank you, Coyote Motors!Service: Brakes

Wolfgang and Eric are a great team. Coyote was recommended to me by the salesman I purchased my used car from, as he's been taking his personal cars here for years. They did not disappoint.They took time with my vehicle, looking it over and helping me prioritize what work needed to be done in what order and timeline and gave extremely fair prices. They helped me avoid overpaying at another mechanic shop and getting unnecessary work done. I felt welcome and informed. Very honest, friendly and knowledgeable shop! I will continue to return here and recommend them!

Andrew did a coolant reroute on our miata. He was quick and efficient. I take all 3 of my cars here and the work is done great at a great price. Would recommend to everyone.

My new favorite auto-mechanic! Andrew and Will are epic humans. They are genuinely curious, explain things well, and even though they are booked out a couple months (for obvious reasons!) they still took the time to help me fix a broken trunk latch, and give my car a once over before a last-minute roadtrip.You know how sometimes you go to a mechanic, and you feel like they are BSing, but you don t know enough about cars to argue? This team is the opposite of that. I am so relieved to have a mechanic who cares!They warned me that their oil changes are a little more expensive than other places. I don t care, I m paying it! Andrew saved me literally thousands of dollars! A different shop first checked my "check engine light" and told me the repairs would cost over $3,000. I wanted a second opinion and took my truck to Andrew at Coyote Motors. Andrew checked the codes on the check engine light and immediately knew that the problem could be something else. He checked other options first and found the true problem. Andrew replaced the $50 part and I was on my way in no time. Coyote Motors was very thorough, clean and prompt. I wouldn't have made it home due to faulty windshield wipers and a heavy snowstorm. Luckily Coyote Motors was still open. Andrew is a life saver! He was apprehensive that he wouldn't be able to fix it in time. But he was able to diagnose and fix the issue. Thank you, a million times, Andrew. Larissa, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. After not being able to get into the shop I usually go to, I found Andrew, who is close to my work. I was truly blown away by his attention to detail and how thorough he was when explaining the work that needed to be done on my car to me. This can be an intimating thing, as I don't know much about cars, and fear being taken advantage of. Unlike most shops, Andrew does not try to nickel and dime you. He was honest and gave me a timeline of when he recommended the work be completed. What was priority and what could wait a little longer. It felt like he was really looking out for me and now I make the commute from Denver to his shop. It is worth it- I won't go to anyone else after working with Andrew!

Great people, thoughtful service! And the best Miata shop - I drove from Denver to come here!I took my car in for a convertible top replacement. They used quality parts and even fixed some of the loose screws for the sun visors and top handle. They didn t have to do that, but were thoughtful and did it anyway.

I've been going to Coyote for many years. The first time I set foot in the garage I was impressed. I couldn't believe how clean, neat and organized it was. In addition, the owner, Wolfgang, is intelligent, responsive and true to his word. I have never had a problem and everything I needed was fixed correctly the first time. Wolfgang is an expert. He knows what he's doing. If I ever bought another used car it would be one that Wolfgang knows how to repair or I wouldn't buy it. I know this was stated by another reviewer, but I feel the same way.

The reviews speak for themselves. Receptionist was super friendly and helpful.Eric was awesome from start to finish, had a bogging issue with my NB for months and replaced every sensor or part I could find. He had it fixed after a few days (MAP sensor) and couldve charged me more but made it right for me. it finally runs great and am thankful to have a specialist around. Would recommend to anyone!

Just took my Miata here at the recommendation of one of the Miata Forums. Highly recommended.I had the complete opposite of a normal car service experience. Wolfgang is super-knowledgeable and extremely nice. He gave my car a thorough once-over and then actively talked me OUT of doing work that I thought I needed, reassuring me that this or that wasn't really necessary, and giving me a list of "maybes" to keep an eye on and to consider down the road.Nice, honest, knowledgeable, inexpensive - Who could ask for more?

I don't know if you can find a better people-oriented shop like Coyote Motors. Eric and Wolfgang are beyond helpful, honest and sincere. I am amazed every time I take a vehicle in. I've actually had to talk UP the quoted price--because they were being too generous with their time explaining the details of my car and educating me. For those Mazda Miata owners (I have owned several...), I simply couldn't imagine taking my miata anywhere else. Seriously.Not only did Flyin' Miata highly recommend Coyote Motors (which should tell you all you need to know) but once you visit the shop, you will know why! I've had my naturally aspirated, supercharged, and turbo miatas all serviced here and simply had an A+ experience. Small, Colorado local business that needs to be supported. From shifter feel, to engine rebuilds, Eric and Wolfgang know cars!

This has to be by far the best place I have stumbled upon! I have been bringing my Mazda Miata and have had a wonderful experience. Lets just say... they have the experience and knowledge. In my books is an amazing balance. I am now bringing my Toyota, Lexus & Subaru here.

Coyote Motors is easily the best Miata shop in the state. Eric recently installed a Flyin' Miata intake and downpipe on my Mazdaspeed and I couldn't be happier. Both he and Wolf have tons of experience on these cars and do great work at a more than fair price. This is the only shop I'd have work on my car for anything more than an oil change.

Wolf (and now also Eric), has always gone above and beyond what I've expected or even thought. He keeps the vintage of my car in mind and doesn't use brand new parts when he can get used, which keeps my costs down. I've used Coyote Motors exclusively for over 20 years. They always offer great work at fair prices and never try to sell me something I don't need. I feel fortunate to be a customer.
