Super friendly people with high quality, quick, and affordable service. They were able to get my car in quickly and get it fixed within a couple of days. Didn t try to upsell me anywhere (except for offering an oil change that I did desperately need). Will absolutely be back here for any car needs, although hopefully those are limited!

After a profoundly disappointing experience at Legacy Automotive in Boulder, I turned to Chan Foreign Car to address the ongoing issues with my Toyota Tundra. Despite the parts that were recently replaced by Legacy, such as the lower ball joint and the front axle, already needing replacement, I found solace in the fact that Chan's was able to rectify these issues. They also discovered that the struts, which Legacy replaced just over a year ago, also needed replacement. This, coupled with the fact that Legacy had used different-sized springs on the right and left sides, led me to the decision to have Chan's complete the repairs. They even went above and beyond by fixing my driver's side door and rattling mirror without charge, further solidifying my trust in their service.My 18-year-old Toyota Tundra now drives like new. My father has used Chan's for years and has only had positive experiences. They are friendly, attentive, and offer quality service you can trust. I highly recommend Chan's.

Been going for a few years, they always do a great job. One time I had a weak battery and they told me if I was going to be somewhere cold I should replace it so I did. That was the only time they recommended any extra service. They never try and sell you things you don t need, a level of honesty I respect.

I recently got my Subaru s brakes replaced and oil change at Chan s Foreign Car and I m so happy with their work! Before my appointment they looked at my car for a free diagnosis then I was able to bring my car in shortly after. When I picked my car up I was pleasantly surprised that they also fixed my tire pressure and even refilled my windshield wiper fluid that was out!! For free! So nice. They have reasonable, affordable prices and they re friendly and efficient, too. Couldn t recommend them enough :)Services: Brakes, Oil change

The best car service ever! Friendly and efficient. While on vacation in Boulder, my Volvo developed a "clucking noise" and these folks diagnosed it and repaired it in short order (while I waited). They found a previous mechanic's mistake and repaired it quickly and affordably. The best!

Chan Foreign Car provided me with excellent service today. They were able to take my car in the same day I reached out for a pre-purchase inspection. We love driving and working on old Toyotas! When we get stuck or just need a little advice, these guys are always there for us with is their honest and straightforward opinion. We have brought several cars to them and have always received excellent service! Only performing work that needs to be done and for a reasonable price. We highly recommend them!

We had an issue where my friend s e92 bmw brake pad sensor wore through on our way from Michigan to Arizona. Colorado was one of our stops. The BMW dealer apparently forgot to clip the pad sensor correctly, causing us to lose DSC (stability control).Chan s auto repair took us immediately and installed an OEM brake pad sensor. Was a perfect drive to Arizona. Amazing people who work hard. Amazing service as well using OEM parts. Please don t hesitate to use them, they have decades of experience!

Very helpful and knowledgeable. They pointed out my gasket was leaking a year ago but said it wasn t urgent. I appreciated knowing what needs fixing now and what can happen later so I can manage my budget. I get my oil changes here and also had some repairs that they did very well. Debbie at the front desk is hugely knowledgeable herself as well and explains things well. I appreciate that.

Fantastic shop. This is the best mechanic shop I ve ever used. We ve lived in Boulder 9 years and found Chan s in year 1. We ve used them exclusively for our four cars during that time and recommend them to friends. They are honest, hard working people who know their business and are really nice to deal with. Extremely honest people. Been going here for 10 years and my parents for 20.They constantly do free checkups and tell me not to worry when I was expecting to be charged. I feel they have never tried to upsell to me and told me exactly what my car needed and why. I have been told that I can wait on certain things and save my money. They will never do work that is not necessary and they will never overcharge you.This is the service shop from your dreams. Seriously they are incredible.

I was in a car crisis. I stopped at this shop while in Boulder. And while they do not work on Fiats, they stopped what they were doing to help me. The woman behind the counter tested my car, then got another man to drive it around to try to pinpoint what was wrong. I am not from Boulder and they could have just sent me on my way as Fiat is not their specialty but they helped me and recommended another shop. And that was a beautiful experience. I recommend this shop because I can tell they care and have good humanity. If they do this for me, I believe they will go out of their way for their customers.

Chan Foreign Car is awesome!! I ve been taking my vehicles to them for 17 years. Debbie is wonderful!! If you ve ever watched My cousin Vinny, Debbie is totally a Mona Lisa Vito! I ve never met a woman who knows more about cars!! She is totally an expert !! Chan s do great work and is the most honest mechanic I ve ever did business with. I ll continue taking my vehicles there until the day I die.

The best! Honest people, family business, fair prices, quick turnaround. They have been in Boulder since the 80's, and there's no surprise why. I've been in many times for repairs and oil changes for my Corolla. They never "up-sell", and they even go as far as helping explain simple repairs that even someone like me with no experience can do on my own. Would recommend to anyone and everyone

Excellent quality wor,k. Extremely good customer service. Intelligent, considerate team of mechanics.. For me six stars would be the actual rating.

Another happy 5 star review for this shop. The owners are honest, not pushy, and pleasant to work with. Got the most honest assessment for my break pad replacement with no pressure to work with them. Price was excellent, and I was able to bring my own parts.

I've taken a couple different vehicles to them over the 5 years I've lived in the area and always had a good experience. Quality work for a fair price, and locally owned. My current vehicle failed emissions recently. I took it to a shop closer to my house who misdiagnosed the issue and it failed again. Took it to Chan and not only did they fix the problem they took it to get tested once they were done to make sure it passed. Picked my car up with a new e-test for the same price they quoted when I dropped it off.

The best repair shop I have ever experienced - knowledgeable, honest, fair pricing, high quality work, friendly, and accommodating. I do a fair bit of work on my old toyota 4runner, but when I need a diagnosis or parts, they have always been great. When I have had work done, everything has been top notch. I hope this shop is open for business as long as my vehicle is running!
