I had a timing belt kit installed at Burroughs about 6 months ago, and the repair has held! I came into the shop with a diagnosis from the Honda Dealer and Christian Brothers on Quincy. I told them about it, and they were able to fix it for about half the cost of both of the other shops.My mom has came here for years, and as long as I am in the area, they've earned my business.

My wife and I were driving from Kansas City, Missouri to Spokane, Washington. About 8 pm I started having electrical problems with all the lights on my truck and small cargo trailer. Stopped for the night. Next morning found a NAPA store and changed some blown fuses and relay.They blew again. NAPA recommended Burroughs 6 miles away in Bennett, Colorado. Got there at about 8:30 am. In less than 45 minutes cool, calm, collected, and very intelligent Tyler, diagnosed and fixed my electrical shortages with less than $50 dollars in parts. Watching him work was like watching Pat Mahomes in the last 5 minutes of a football game. He knew exactly what he was doing, was calm and thorough, and got this tired old man and his wife back on the road home. My wife, sitting in the lobby, overheard Mike talking with his receptionist and the mechanics. She was impressed with Mike s knowledge and how he treats his employees. The receptionist was friendly and professional and made my wife feel comfortable. If you re on the road in Colorado and have automotive problems near Bennett, Burroughs Service Company is your answer. You ll get excellent service at a reasonable price.

Sandy and Tim really helped us out! We started having car trouble on a road trip, and they were able to fit us in during a packed schedule to get us back on the road in no time at all. Amazing service and kindness all around! Thank you!

My Yukon broke down in the middle of the night near Burroughs Service in Bennett. Luckily they have a night drop slot I was able to use to leave my keys and contact information. They called the next day with an estimate and the following business day it was ready to pickup at the price quoted! They fixed it right the first time and the office folks were friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you so much!

Inspected our tire super quick service, everything was ok with the tire, and they didn t even charge us for taking a look. Thankful to be able to continue on our trip with the extra peace of mind.

Thank you!! We limped into the shop with 6 horses in tow with an engine overheating and no where else to turn. These guys patched us up enough to settle our horses at a local layover AND rushed a new fan clutch in so that we were on the road again the next morning.They were kind, professional, and seriously helped us out in a pickle. THANK YOU!!!!

My neighbor warned me about this company and I should have listened. All I needed was an oil change. They botched that and our car emptied out of oil in the middle of nowhere.We had it towed to the nearest dealership. They checked it out and refilled the oil. Said that the engine still ran. But it ran rough, getting worse and worse over the course of a couple months. We took it to the local dealership, who found a bunch of metal in the oil pan and said that we needed a new engine.Burroughs agreed to replace the engine, but held on to our vehicle for SIX MONTHS. They must have been looking for the cheapest thing they could dump on me because the new engine feels like a garbage disposal compared to the silk that the old one was.To add insult to injury, they broke the driver's side window and left it poorly covered, exposed to the dust and weather. And it looks like they banged another vehicle into the back of our car, denting and scratching the rear door.When my fianc�e picked up the car, Mike was rude and dismissive to her, shrugging off responsibility for the window and not even mentioning the rear damage.His obnoxious attitude of acting like he's doing us a big favor while taking as little responsibility as possible was infuriating.

Great place to get my truck aligned. They offered me a ride home since I had to leave my vehicle there. Price was average for the work being done. It did take a little longer than expected, but I also knew they had employees sick with COVID. I would much rather wait then been exposed. I would highly recommend Burroughs!

Very unimpressed with the quality of customer service inside this shop. They practically ignore me when I walked in, and then looked at me as if I was stupid when I asked if they could retread my tire. And couldn't even point me in a good direction. The gentleman with tattoos all over his face, legitimately told me that he had never heard of anybody needing a retread. On their sign they specifically advertise tire service. I guess I'll drive all the way into Denver on a spare. Thanks guys.

By far the best mechanic shop I have ever had the pleasure of taking my vehicles to, and I've visited numerous.Awesome local shop, great service, decent prices, Mike and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and will always fix your vehicles the right way, without all of the suggestive selling on things that don't need to be done like other shops like to do.Will always bring my vehicles to Mike.

Burroughs is the bomb! The guys there all seem friendly, gracious, and competent. Mike and Kevin really took care of us.We re not local and stopped in to get our brakes checked. They ended up being fine (operator error), but in the process they discovered a transmission leak. Fixed the leak quickly and didn t even charge us for checking the brakes.We were a minor bit of business for them on a busy day, but they accommodated all our random needs while we were there and were up front about what did and didn t fixing. I d recommend this place to anyone.

Had an unexpected flat on my 4 1/2 hr trip back home. Pulled up to the shop and they were able to fix my tire right then and there. Highly recommended, friendly and professional!

Don't be deceived by the humble appearance of this shop. They provide top notch service at a reasonable price. Super fast service. I will definitely go back for all my tire needs. These are good honest people providing great service and definitely not price robbing you like the bigger fancier shops.

Mike is awesome! I recently had a flat tire and he personally came out onto the highway to help me change the tire. He then took the tire back to his shop to fix it. My tires were pretty much shot, so he helped me choose some good ones. His staff is always nice and they go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. Thank you Mike and Burroughs Service staff!!!

Thanks to Mike and Kevin. I got a flat on I-70 between Strasburg and Bennett exit. Not your normal flat the tire had rolled partially off the rim. I jacked it up but could not get it high enough to remove. I walked to Loves Truck and I called Mike when he opened. He immediately sent Kevin to pick me up and Kevin brought a real jack and bam it was done. I stopped to Burroughs after work and Mike guided me through all of the tire choices. I agreed to the tires he recommended, he ordered them and got them the next day with a new battery...Wow what a difference in the ride. 2 weeks later the front brakes were making some noise...where did I go? You guessed it I went back to Burroughs. Finding a place you can trust can be a chore but I found one. Thanks again to Mike and his team.

I have never written a review on anyone till now and it is long over due. I have been using Burroughs Service for 28 years, old and new cars and trucks. Now health has taken a toll on me and still the service Mike and his employees perform, so goes out of their way to help. This is why I've held off ever writing a comment, I want to keep them all to myself. Burroughs Service is truly the small town appeal and values people seek in their lives. Thanks to Mike and his employees for a job well done as usual.

Burroughs Service Company is a gem! We live 65 miles from Bennett and car broke down 2 miles from there last evening. So, we felt relieved and lucky to see the reviews here about the competence and integrity of these folks. The responsiveness, the work, the friendliness, the fair price, and the frank advice about whether we should keep or ditch our vehicle all met our high expectations based on these reviews. All that and they had it ready for us today, despite being very busy.The only negative is that they're too far away to use for all our auto maintenance. :-)

Burroughs is the best! They saved me, great service and very friendly! I had 2 blowouts on my RV at the same time. They got me taken care of at a great price. I highly recommend them!!

Friendly and fast. I dropped in without an appointment to get a tire changed because I found a gash in one of my tires. They didn't even charge me for changing the tire. As a middle-aged woman on the road, I was so grateful for that kindness; they saved me from having to change a tire on the side of the interstate in a cold windy storm. It's very obvious they care about the people who come into their shop. Thank you so much!

We moved into the I-70 Corridor 7 years ago and used to drive to the big name dealerships for service. They were inconvenient and I didn't always believe their diagnosis. We made the switch to Burroughs and have never looked back. TRUST! They tell me the truth. Even if I think it is going to be a more expensive repair, they will tell me nope, and fix what is really wrong. I know my vehicles and my wallet are in excellent hands!

You never know what kind of place somewhere will be when you are not familiar with it. My 19 year old daughters car broke down. I live in Lamar and she was on her way to Platteville. She was picked up and taken home by friends while the car was left at Loves. I called Burroughs the next morning at 8 am and explained the situation. They got the vehicle, gave me an estimate, fixed the vehicle, and had it back on the road by 130 in the afternoon. The price was very comparable to that of which my local mechanic would have charged for the same work and was able to take the payment over the phone. Getting my daughter back on the road in less than 24 hours. Thank you so much for helping us out. Would definitely call on them again if need be.

If not for Mike, my truck would be on the side of the road for who knows how long. He drove many miles repeatedly back and forth to ensure I was taken care of while I take care of my family. Thank you Mike for showing me how business should be done. A+ service and care

Mike has always gone over and above for me. He drove my truck to Mike Naughton when Mike Naughtons service department didn't do their job. I find them to be very upfront and honest about what repairs need to be done and their prices beat anything you get done in town. I completely trust and recommend Burroughs Service 100%. Instead of charging me for repairs he did some research and found my problem was still under warranty and drove my truck to Mike Naughton where you won't get the same kind of customer service-in fact beware of Mike Naughton Service-can't trust anything they say.

They were sure to call me about parts, prices, and reasons before doing any work, which was great. My only complaint is that my drivers side floor mat was caked in dried mud. It isn t a huge deal, especially considering they had great service otherwise.

These guys are a joke. Complete shade tree operation. Untrained staff with ZERO customer service.Firstly, the lady behind the counter, Lori, doesn't know a crescent wrench from a crescent roll and has absolutely zero customer service skills.First vehicle I took to them sat there for 2 weeks. After not getting an update, my wife called them and Lori's excuse was that they had the keys on the desk, but didn't know what vehicle they went to. Rather than going out into the parking lot and hitting the panic button on the key fob, they just waited for us to call. 2 weeks front brakes and a mass air flow sensor. Furthermore, after replacing the mass air flow sensor, they hooked the computer up to clear the code, but they never checked to ensure that the sensor was the problem. After having the codes read by an independent party, I learned that Burroughs didn't fix the problem (and charged me a premium to boot)I gave them one last shot with my truck. Called and got an appointment from Lori 2 weeks out (it was the closest appointment she claimed they had). On the day of my appointment, I dropped the truck off without issue. The man behind the counter took my kets and checked it in. A few hours later, Lori calls me and rudely leaves me a voicemail that my appointment was they day prior and that they couldn't get to it for a few more days. I just told them to leave my keys in the gas tank door and I would be by to pick up the truck that evening. They then locked my only key in the truck and then complained about having to jimmy my door.Avoid this shop like the plague.
