These folks did an amazing job bringing our '05 Chevy Colorado back to life. David, Diego & Alex are 100% professional and friendly too! We took this truck to multiple auto shops around the valley and High Tone was the only place capable of the task. Highly recommended!

Great shop! I used to do my own work on my vehicles, but now that I live in an apartment I can't. I looked around for a good shop to change the trans fluid on my '19 Impala (for scheduled maintenance) and I came here. Great service! I was in and out in an hour, the 2 guys at the front were pretty cool, and the tech left my car as clean as I gave it to them. Will be back for any future maintenance!

Tim was really friendly & easy to get along with. He made quick work of a brake problemI had on my Saab as well as installing and balancing a new set of tires. Pricing was more than fair for this valley and professionalism is top-notch. I have already recommended them to a couple friends and family members.

Simply put - these guys are great. If they can help you they will with excellent service and good prices. I got tires replaced a year ago and went in a few weeks back to get a slow leak fixed. Not only did they do so gratis, they also suggested to me I should get the tires rotated which they also did for free.And to top things off, I went in a few weeks earlier with a different request and they told me they weren't the best people to provide that particular service and suggested another place in the valley I should go. THAT doesn't happen too often.

I first started doing business with John at High Tone more than twenty (20) years ago, and one time I managed to remember to give his employees a holiday basket of fruit.They never forgot me. You won't have to buy them a gift, but after having your vehicle serviced you'll want to! Great service, honest advice, reasonable prices.I love High Tone Automotive and Tire; they really make the effort to do the job right.

I highly recommend High Tone Automotive as one of the best vehicle shops in the valley. My experience is that they're #1. Their fine mechanics have helped keep my family's cars in great shape for years. They're very honest and dedicated to doing excellent work.

High Tone Automotive & Tire exceeded my expectations in our moment of need! On a Saturday night we had a blow out, & we were due to make a 13 hour journey in our car the next day. John & Maureen opened up the shop, fitted us with 4 new Blizzak tires & we were able to attend our family gathering. Their personal care & attention to detail made us feel so valued. Their commitment to community & their strong relationships with their customers is both rare & impressive. Highly recommend!

I took my car here in a pinch the day after new years. I had a coolant leak and needed to drive my car to California the next day. I went in not expecting much, giving them such a short notice. In one day they diagnosed the problem (cracked radiator) and were able to replace it and do a coolant flush, talk about life savers. They also suggested services I should have done when I got to Cali. They were so friendly and professional which is always a big plus for me. Price is definitely fair for the valley. I would definitely recommend, thank you High Tone Automotive!

The best automotive service in the valley! Honest, fast, and dependable. Buy your tires here, too! John and Tim are great guys with a lifetime of experience and a blast to work with. High Tone for life. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my vehicles.

Not sure I can praise these guys enough. My tire had a nail in it, I called all around, they were the only ones who could fix it correctly. They did not try to overcharge me, and preformed the work correctly and quickly. This is now a must fir me when in the area, and need my car serviced.

We are traveling cross country when we git a nail in our tire. High Tone was highly recommended by the gas station attendant at Cassies and he was so right. Fast, efficient. Friendly, and affordable. Thank you High Tone!

I was camping nearby with my family on vacation, and developed a bad front end shimmy coming down the mountain from Independence Pass. They worked me in with short notice and replaced my track bar and steering dampener. They had me back on the road within a few hours.We ended up having a great morning in Basalt, at the nearby shopping, restaurants and parks.Thanks David and Rick for your help!

I went to 7 repair shops for a misfire from Georgia to Eastern Maryland to Upstate New York over 4 months, finally got to Basalt where Rick had fixed my van in 2014, he had me running perfectly in less than an hour! No wonder they are soo busy!!!

Called about a broken seatbelt and they had me come in right away and fixed it free of charge within 5 minutes!!! Great customer service!!

Love the honesty with regard to prices, turnaround time, etc. I originally came here on the recommendation of two other women who said they were very woman-friendly and very helpful, and I have found that to be true also!
