I recently had the misfortune of being involved in a car accident. The whole ordeal was nothing short of a nightmare, but if it weren't for the incredible team at High Tone, I might still be stuck in the aftermath of that chaos.From the moment I arrived at their shop, they exuded professionalism and empathy. The staff were understanding and compassionate, recognizing the stress I was under. They reassured me that they would take care of my car and, more importantly, take care of me.True to their word, the team at High Tone worked wonders on my mangled vehicle. The swift manner in which they handled the repairs was nothing short of impressive. Not only did they bring my car back to life, but they also made sure to keep me informed throughout the entire process. The transparency and open communication went a long way in easing my concerns.The kindness and efficiency displayed by High Tone were a stark contrast to the unfortunate circumstances that led me to their doorstep. They turned what could have been a prolonged and agonizing experience into a relatively smooth and quick resolution. I can't thank them enough.

Overall good service. Mike and everyone was very patient with me since I have them a million calls. We had some unexpected and inconvenient delays but that s part of living in the Valley.They returned my car clean which I highly appreciated since I have a baby.Thank you.

I was satisfied with the professionalism and responsiveness to my calls, however I had to initiate the communication myself as the shop did not reach out to me with updates. My repairs were complete and vehicle ready for pickup two days after the date I was told, so that wasn t bad. I did have to return a couple days later because there was an air noise coming from the sunroof as it was out of alignment with the new roof that was installed, also a loud, persistent squeak at the rear of the vehicle due to a clip either not installed or installed incorrectly under the new headliner. They corrected these issuespromptly as I waited in the lobby. The following week, the panel that covers the driver side a-pillar popped off because the cables were not routed properly so the clips did not hold the panel in place. I fixed this myself since I am familiar with that assembly and was out of town at the time, therefore could not return to the shop.

I think all of the glowing reviews are from when the previous owners ran this business.Car damage in early June 2022, was told to bring the van in on Wednesday the 13th, of the next month. They require the customer to call ahead to see if High Tone will honor their own appointment. Several calls later I finally dropped it off. It was due to be finished on the 18th of July. July turned into August with no word.Early August I called to ask if I could take the car back and use it as is until they were ready since I need it for work and the damage was cosmetic. They said no, they already took off the front bumper and headlight and would not put them back on. They could not give me an ETA.Called again, was given Aug. 9 as a completion date. I called Aug 9, not done, but Mike said he d call me back with an ETA. Of course no call back. I called the next day, and explained to Natasha that I will need to rent a van soon and so needed a realistic ETA. I was told I would get a call back with an ETA. Of course, NO call back.I called August 11 and again asked Natasha for an ETA. After listening to a looping message for about 15 minutes that explained how important I was as a customer Natasha got back on the phone and said she called the vendor while I waited on hold. (why take my time to do this?) She reported it would be the next week before the parts came in because they could not get a headlight. I wanted to know if I could buy one at Napa for them to install but Natasha started talking over me. When I interjected she instantly put the hold music back on, basically hanging up on me. I called back and when she answered I said, what I was trying to ask was.. at which point she clicked the hold music back on again. Her boss later defended this behavior.Sometime that fall I picked up the van but without all the trim pieces. High Tone was paid in full by my insurance. Called again from time to time through January of 2023, 8 months later at which time I ended up buying the parts online.My problem was not with delays beyond their control. They never ONCE called back when they say they would. They could have put my van back together so I could drive it instead of keeping it unlocked on their lot for months. There was no follow through, and no communication unless I drove there in person to get answers. The very worst service imaginable, with plenty of rudeness and frustration to boot. Wouldn t touch this place again if you paid me.

Simply awesome. I stopped in after the door on my Ford Expedition mysteriously filled with water. Spoke to a young man named Mike who took the car in, drained the water out, found the cause, and had me on my way in less than 15 minutes. Oh, and didn't charge me a dime. The next time I (or anyone I know) needs body work, we're coming to Mike and High Tone Auto Body. Great local business.Service: Body & Trim

Guys at the shop were quick, knowledgeable and professional. There were the only shop within 50 miles of aspen that was able to get me in for service within 3 days. Car broke down with a transfer case issue. They were able to get it back up and running same day and at a VERY reasonable price. Would recommend them to anyone in need of service in the area!Service: Transmission

John and the team at High Tone auto body went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations! We were in town visiting family and after driving 1200 miles we were exhausted and had a small altercation with the fence at the place we were staying. With a toddler in tow we stopped by the shop the next day to see if they could repair the damage enough so we could at least make it home next week. They fixed our bumper while we waited and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes! I was shocked! I can t say enough positive things about the team at high time auto body! Thank you again!!!! I highly recommend!!

High Tone redefines customer service!Words cannot describe how blessed we were to find High Tone. We were driving from Wisconsin to Beaver Creek for a ski vacation and hit a deer at 2am outside of Fort Collins. The front end of our Honda minivan was destroyed but still driveable so we hobbled our way to our Beaver Creek hotel concerned we wouldn't be able to get home. The next morning our USAA insurance agent directed us to High Tone. I was able to get High Tone on the phone and explained our situation to them. They said they could get us in immediately and even offered to drive out and give us an estimate. I drove it in to their location which was over an hour away. I was in/out within 30 minutes with a quote.I was worried that the van wouldn't be done in time for us to return home. I was also worried that I was going to have to pay an Uber to drive me an hour back to the hotel and then again to pickup the van when it was done. High Tone assured me the work would be done which was a relief. That was awesome but not as awesome as when they suggested that I drive my van back to the hotel so I could salvage the rest of the ski day and they would pick it up that evening after work and then drop it off when they were done free of charge. ITS AN HOUR LONG DRIVE. Sure enough, the owner herself, Melissa, showed up that evening with another person to pickup our van. I received texts each day on the progress. The van was ready the day before we were going to leave and they drove it back to us. It was in perfect condition and they even vacuumed it out.The High Tone team was exceptional. They were professional and friendly and set a standard of customer service that is hard to match. They could have easily charged me for all of the extra effort and I would have gladly paid it but they never asked for a dime more then the insurance deductible. They saved our whole family trip and did it while performing high quality work with exceptional service.Thank you High Tone!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Best Auto Body shop in the valley! After having a stressful experience being hit, Jake and Melissa made our experience stress free and easy! They handled everything with our insurance companies and even got us a rental car. We got weekly updates on our truck and our truck was returned back to us in a timely manner. We are so very happy with their service and their work on our truck! Great customer service and exceptional work! Thank you!

Melissa is a God sent!!I just got out of the military and was driving cross country from Utah to New Jersey when I totaled my car. High Tone body shop made it a completely seamless and easy process. They were super nice and helpful! I was carrying all my belongings in my car and was going to take the bus back to my hotel, Melissa not only gave me a ride home but also a suitcase so that I wouldn t have to carry so many separate bags on my now train ride back to NJ (her amazing daughters even made me a snack bag ) I am so gratefully that I came here, they were truly a blessing!

Had a wonderful experience, although it took a while, it was worth the wait. My car has never looked this good inside and out. They even went through the trouble of cleaning the interior, and organizing all my personal belongings. I will be back for sure!

I'd give 6 stars if I could! A dealership messed up my door while doing a repair and tried claim it wasn't their fault. Melissa from High Tone worked her magic and got the dealership to agree to pay for the repairs, saving me a $1600 bill. High Tone replaced the door and painted it to perfectly match the rest of the vehicle. Amazing work, even better service. Highly recommended!

I brought my car here at recommendation of the Honda Dealership in GWS after I got rear-ended. They scheduled me for three days, but it only took one! They touched up an additional nick for me (not from the accident), and gave me some paint to take home for future issues. They also cleaned the exterior and interior of my car. Super easy, really great experience!

Friendly and helpful staff. I got into an accident while in Basalt and could not drive the car home to Denver. The car was dropped off at night by the tow, do High Tone called in the morning to confirm they received the vehicle. They stored the car while we waited appraisal. When we found out the car was totaled, the staff at High Tone took off our license plates and removed our personal belongings from inside until we could pick then up a week later.Thank you High Tone Auto Body, Inc. staff (especially the woman who helped us, I forgot her name) for being courteous, giving high quality service, and professionalism. Had we been able to repair the car, we would have chosen you to repair it even though we live in Denver.
