We lost a wheel bearing on our horse trailer while coming through from Wyoming They got us instantly in the shop, replaced all 4 wheel bearings within 3 hours EXCELLENT service!They saved us days of down time!Highly recommend!

Quoted me $10/tire extra to install new snow tires bought elsewhere. Why?! Yet, they'd install 3 year old tires bought elsewhere for the regular price. Don't try to school me Big O!Owner: Just not true. Many people have their old & dirty tires changed there and Big O never charges an upcharge. They don't ask where they were bought. This $10 new tire fee is just to "punish" consumers for not buying your tires at your prices.

Great shop. Waldo helped me through most of the process when purchasing new tires. They were informative and very quick on the job. Dropped my car off Friday night and received a call Saturday morning for pick up. Highly recommend, I will definitely return.

Had an excellent experience recently buying tires there. Justin was exceptionally attentive and provided us with extensive info. Prices were high, but maybe that's everywhere.

Picked up a screw and a slow leak in my front tire. Rolled into Big O about an hour before they closed. Waldo and team had a great attitude, got me turned around quickly and back on the road. Highly recommend these guys!

No one wants to be the person that has negative things to say about local business. However, when a business purposely lies and denies actions created by their team, that is just not something I like to let slide by. I have been taking 2 vehicles to Big O for the last 12 yrs. We have never had a any issues. Overall, it seemed the Big O team was funneling some of their best talent to this store as our valley requires a lot of help during the winter. It seems that run of talent has taken a turn for the worst. When I picked up my car after getting the winter tires swapped, the mechanics gloves were left inside the car, the tires were wrapped in dirty plastic which was thrown in my rear seats where all the dirt smudged off. Tire Lube was found on the body of my car in different places and no one even tried to clean it off. Finally, they had improperly jacked the car up on the side, created an indentation where the jack was placed and while the car was in the air, they opened the door. When opening the door and the side molding being pinched by the pressure of the load, the top and bottom panel rubbed which scraped the paint off the bottom of the door and the side molding of the vehicle. I took it to High Tone Auto and they immediately told me how this occurred and documented it. The manager at Big O was not too helpful and was more concerned about pushing back the responsibility onto me. This is just not the kind of business you want to stress over, support, or that our community deserves. *****UPDATE 4.25.19****** While it took some more effort on my end, I did reach out to their regional manager Martin who was very pleasant to work with and made things right. He informed me there was video in each garage and they would request it to look at it further. At the end of it all they helped me resolve this issue and helped me address the damage on the car. Thats all you can ask for. Open and honest conversation with accountability. I increased my one star to a 3. Thanks.

It has been a number of weeks since I visited this store, but better late than never.I was visiting the area and encountered a dead battery for no apparent reason. Upon stopping at Big O Tires, they immediately took the car to a service bay. After running full diagnostics, everything was found to be working properly. There was no charge for this service and we greatly appreciate their courtesy and efficiency. Thanks Big O Carbondale!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Helped us with truck tires, Porsche tires--always ready to repair, replace, special order or whatever your needs may be. Fantastic, fast competent service.

I work in the valley for the summer season and had consistent issues with each one of my tires. I had to visit this shop 5 times over the last 8 weeks, but each visit was a great experience. The customer service and pricing was wonderful, and they even gave me a new tire gauge for free! I recommended this shop to some friends/colleagues who also had pleasant experiences. I highly recommend this shop for your needs and I can t thank them enough!

Got an unfortunate flat on the way to a 12 powder day. Everyone at big O was super helpful and determined to get me to the mountain after all. Since new snow tires are impossible to find this time of the winter, Cameron had a mechanic drive me to my house to pick up my other set of wheels. They installed them and disposed of the old set and I was back on the road within 90 minutes. Friendly and incredibly helpful, I ll definitely be back to purchase winter tires for next season!

Told my husband rear brakes were worn 1/2 way down. Two weeks ago my husband put on brand new pads & rotors so there s no way they are worn 1/2 way down. I m having trust issues & won t be back. Discount Tire in Glenwood is better & worth the extra drive.

Big Mark at Big O Tires in Basalt provided excellent customer service repairing a damaged tire for our Enterprise rental. Mark and his staff treated us and all of their customers with professional respect, personal attention, and urgency. The fast pace work at the shop was impressive. The repair was completed very quickly. Mark and Big O saved the day while we were on vacation. THANK YOU!

This crew is amazing! Even with a line out the door by 8am (snow tire weekend!) they greet everyone with a smile, make the coffee, call at the end to the day with cheer to let me know my car is done you d never guess it was a long day for them. Special shout-out to Marc Martinez and Cam!! You guys rock!

I called and was told they still had opening for an oil change. I arrived 15 mins later and they would not accept my car and wouldn t let me leave it, so I could be the first in the morning. I left came back and I over heard them taking other people for an oil change. The guy that said he runs the store was yelling at the cashier across the show room floor. This is my store because he didn t follow his direction and went with what someone had asked him to do. I think the cashier was the owner son. Anyway, not the best experience and they are more expensive than the glenwood springs dealership.

If you re looking for tires or for an auto repair shop in the valley, look no further than Big O Tires in Basalt. The staff is more than merely perfunctory in their friendliness and you feel right at home since you can tell by their banter that they actually like each other, too.There were more women customers in the lobby than men and each one seemed perfectly at ease with their service.On top of their skills as mechanics they also seem to set ego aside because if someone didn t know something he didn t fake it, he would just tell you he didn t know and then go and find out. Refreshing.These men worked on my car for more than four hours just analyzing and fixing what was needed to be done and when they were done the bill was under $100.00. I was stunned how hard they tried, how nice they were and how inexpensive they were to a guy with Ohio license plate on his car. They could have taken me to the cleaners but treated me like an old friend.That shop is a real gem.

Big O Tires in Basalt is great. Awesome customer service and everyone that works there is so nice! They really go above and beyond. I ve bought 2 sets of tires from them and Mark has helped both times. He is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to make sure you re getting exactly what you want. Highly recommend!

After years with Big O tires, several sets on several vehicles and recommending them to my family and friends, I apparently am disposable. They refused to honor the warranty their tires at 30000 miles and 11 months of wear on 60000/3 years tires.Strongly suggest you go somewhere else!

These guys were great. We had two holes in our tire. They were able to get us patched up and on the road in under 30 minutes just before close. Really appreciate the quick and friendly service.

Had a nail in my tire coming in down the pass, called several other places in aspen that wanted me to schedule a tire repair not for the same day. Tire was going flat as I drove, needed something fast and quick. They got my tire patched and repaired and in speedy time. Customer service was great. I would highly recommend these guys for your tire needs. Thanks again Big O Tires

These guys had the fortune of fixing two family tires in one week. Everyone was courteous and helpful and they got us back on the road in no time. We have a newborn and my wife's tire had a big chunk of metal in it. It's a relief to know everyone is safe! Thank you Big O Basalt.

I don t leave reviews very often but after yesterday I had to reach out and leave a big thank you I work for the post office in Basalt and was out delivering my route when my car just suddenly died on me. It was the end of the day and probably the worst time possible for it to happen, but I reached out to the shop and Christian told me it was cool, bring her in and they d see what was up to get me moving again to finish my route. Turned out to be a dead battery (THANK GOD!!!) but he got it changed out and got me back on the road. Thanks guys, you all have been amazing to me every time I had to come in. Keep it going, I ll be back in for sure

Mark the manager of Big-O Basalt instantly helped me get a tire even though Big-O didn't carry it. Mark looked at my tire and found the tire on the internet and he helped me get the tire sent to my house the next day. He totally made my life easier! I'll be bringing the tire down to his place tomorrow to get it put on and balanced. Thank you, Mark!
