Barry got me in the perfect boot/footbeds after my old boots started making both of my feet completely numb. I went back for a couple tiny adjustments and I ve never had such a good ski season! Thanks to these guys who will work with you to get you feeling great! And give you a refreshing beverage while you wait

Arrived in town for a weeklong ski trip with brand new ski boots that turned out to be excruciating.I spent an hour with Barry who was able to change the shell to fit my foot better. My boots fit perfectly now and I am pain free!Barry and the rest of the crew were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely skilled! I Can t recommend enough!

Boot Mechanics are the best boot fitters I've visited by a long shot. I tagged along on my wife's appointment (major issues with her boots) hoping they might be able to look at some minor issues with my boots too. They completely fixed what I was afraid was an unfixable problem with my wife's boots and kindly troubleshot my issue while also suggesting ways to modify the straps for a better fit (it worked!). Super nice guys who are patient and curious enough to zero in on real solutions. I'll go out of my way to visit them should I have issues in the future.

Sand set me up with a well fit pair of boots. Made all the difference in the world. Broke them in at A-Basin and was amazed how thevright boots made for a top day on the slopes.

Jess fitted my feet perfectly into new boots, mine were 10+ years and more than 200 days on a mountain, we could have worked with them and kept them going. Made the decision to go all new and Jess is marvelous. Made a difference in my skiing today ... eventing from chalk ice to mashed potatoes and I never felt out of control and my feet were still happy as we closed the lifts

Switching to skis after a lifetime of snowboarding, I just bought my first new pair of ski boots and they feel amazing. Jeremy and co are super knowledgeable, welcoming, and provide excellent follow up service. They truly want you to love your boots and you ll ski better for it. He even helped me last season to punch out the uncomfortable pair I was borrowing. Don t hesitate to give them your business.

Jeff is an amazing, experienced boot fitter who just really understands foot and ankle mechanics in relation to skiing. I had Charlie make a small tweak on a later visit which really helped. Overall, a great shop because of their great boot professionals!

10/10 experience. We are from out of town and had this shop recommended to us. Before the trip, they helped me so much in scheduling my appointment and were so kind. My husband and I were both fitted for boots with Barry and I can t say enough good things. Definitely hit these guys up if you re needing boots!

Boot Mechanics are easily the best boot fitters I've ever used. I had a pair that wasn't working out and they saw me same day to swap them out for another pair and do all the necessary fitting. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic all around, starting from their flexibility with my appointment before I even walked in the door. Barry did my initial fit and was a total pro, answered all my questions, guided me through the process as a first-time buyer, and kept me caffeinated. Went back a few days later for an adjustment and Charlie diagnosed the problem in 2 seconds flat. Super happy with my new Langes and my experience at Boot Mechanics.

Sands assisted me in Avon CO. I took a brand new pair of Salamon s/Pro 130 boots fo ra custom mould and foot bed. Premium service and I was absolutely satisfied. 2 weeks of charging skiing pleasure and NO pain.

I love how many years of experience with boot fitting and skiing is in the air of this shop due to the carefully selected staff. Highly recommend you visit boot mechanics Avon for your ski boot needs. People, seriously, ski boots should be fun to put on and this team has what it takes to get you to where you need to be with your comfort and your ski boots.

I scheduled an appointment with one of the bootfitters here named Sands Barker. Dude was super knowledgeable and immediately adjusted my boots to reduce the pain I was experiencing. He was super quick, knew exactly what to do, and let me take my time. I felt like I truly experienced a "custom boot fitting" after working with Sands at this location.

I bought a pair of boots elsewhere and they were so painful I couldn t finish my ski trip. Jeremy worked his magic and got me in the perfect boot size/shape for me. They definitely know what they are doing and explained it so well. I wouldn t go anywhere else. Can t wait to try them out this season!!

Truly as good as it gets - I cannot say enough about Boot Mechanics.I came to the shop with a pair of boots that I had bought from a different retailer. The boots were so painful that I seriously could not even wear them without being in immense pain.Sands worked on my boots for two hours and got them to a place where I was able to wear them all day. Beyond miraculous. Throughout the entire process, he was thoughtful, kind, and incredibly generous with his time and customer service. He went above and beyond to try to get me to a place where I could enjoy the ski day - and succeeded when I didn't think it was possible.I came in not trusting anyone to fit me into a proper boot - and left with incredible appreciation and admiration for this shop. I can't wait to come back next season and get fitted into the perfect boot. Boot Mechanics are the only ones I trust from here on out!Thank you for everything!

Jeff and the rest of the Avon crew literally helped save my ski trip! After an extremely painful day on the slopes, we called Boot Mechanics to see if they had an cancellations/openings to help look at my ski boots. Despite a full schedule on their end, they were extremely emphatic and allowed me to come in same day for a quick check. My husband and I were blown away with their customer service and even more by their knowledge. They stayed late to help fix my boots (I enjoyed the two remaining days of our trip without any more pain) and Jeff patiently answered all of my questions. I am extremely grateful for him and the rest of their team lifesavers and good, honest professionals. My only regret is not living in the area to see them on a regular basis for when I buy new boots and get them custom fit. Can t recommend these guys enough!

I cannot recommend these guys enough. I came in from out of town and bought my first pair of boots. Unfortunately, the first pair did not fit well, despite them trying their best to adjust them. They replaced them with a different style of boot, free of charge. They were so accommodating, both for my first appt due to a flight delay and for the following adjustments, despite not having available appointments. I truly appreciate how kind they were and never made me feel like I was bothering them, despite coming back three days in a row. Again, could not have asked for better service!

I had 3 hotspots in each boot. I worked with Charlie for an hour and a half working out the issues. I skied the next day and it felt like a new pair of boots. I d highly recommend Boot Mechanics to anyone having issues with boot comfort, I wouldn t have been able to ski additional days without them.

Thanks Jeff!! Nothing beats skiing in Beaver Creek...unless your feet hurt so badly that it becomes unbearable. Jeff Harper really knows his stuff and saved the day. Having taken boots for tweaks to several places over the last week I'd started to think that skiing would never be enjoyable again, but thankfully Boot Mechanics really undertood my problem and managed to make alterations to get me skiing with a huge smile again.

GRATEFUL for this amazing team of knowledgeable and exceptionally talented ski boot fitting professionals! Experts in everything from footbeds, adjustments, fitting your foot to the boot that is best for your feet, and product! We have the warmest feet after purchasing heated socks. Jeff at Boot Mechanics is an amazing bootfitter. Well worth the 2 hour drive from Boulder Colorado to get custom footbeds for my new backcountry boots, after he successfully fit my alpine ski boots a few years ago. Not only is he highly skilled, Jeff is friendly and patient. Highly recommend Jeff and Boot Mechanics.

Guys at boot mechanics improved the fit of my boots tremendously. Their footbeds aligned me to be able to stay on better balance on the hill and kept me skiing for longer with less foot fatigue. They're incredibly knowledgeable and friendly too!

I'm 40 years old, aggressive skier, and have never had a pair of boots that didn't give me pain issues. I've tried everything - several pairs of SureFoots, customs, etc. Nothing ever worked. Every "boot guy" I took my problems to blamed the last guy, punched out the boots some, and created more problems. Planned a trip to Vail so researched the best boot fitter in the area - Jeff Harper's name kept coming up on Reddit boards / FB groups etc. Called Vail ski school, asked to talk to a few instructors, asked them who the best is, they all said the same thing: "Jeff Harper is the only guy I trust with my feet". Oh man he did not disappoint. Made a reservation a month ago and saw him yesterday. Tried on 3 boots, picked one that fit the best, he explained why I was having issues in prior boots, did some work on the footbed, didn't try to "oversell" orthotics or any of the other shenanigans typical in these cases. Was on the hill all day yesterday in the bumps, not a single issue. Literally no pain. Have NEVER had no pain in my feet. Special mention to boot heaters which Jeff installed for me as well - those are amazing. Jeff - you are a man amongst boys. Kudos to you and thanks.
