I needed help and every other garage in town wouldn't give me the time of day, but here they explained what they could do and stretched themselves as much as they could just to take a look and diagnose my car when nobody else would. Amazing folk.

They tried to charge me over 300 for an alignment, paid 120 in the other shop, works great. I recommend checking the prices before accepting any of their services.

I broke down in the middle of a road trip and every other shop I called turned me away except for this place. They were able to get me back on the road after replacing a water pump in just 4 hours. Whatever your car needs, bring it here.

These guys are absolute rock stars! They were able to fix me up in a hurry. Had a problem with a throttle module, they got me back on the road the same day. Incredibly friendly miracle workers.

We've worked with Ascent for a few years but will most likely not be using them anymore. I called 3 weeks ago to order snow tires for a new vehicle. I was told he had to put out a fire and would call me back ASAP with pricing. 5 days later, I called back because I hadn't heard from him. Like I said, we have history and this was a simple mistake so I ordered tires from them and was hoping to drop the truck prior to my appointment and get them put on while I was out of town. He said I couldn't do that as there was nowhere to park the truck overnight. Not typical for them, but no biggie, I booked for the following Monday when I was back in town, and dropped my truck off at 8:30am. I called at 2pm to see about pick-up status, and he told me that he had forgotten to order the tires, but that he ordered them today and they would be delivered tomorrow.I'm really not a fan of how this whole experience was handled. Call me back as soon as he realized the tires had never been ordered? I went and picked up my truck and he basically slid my keys across the table and didn't say a word. I told him that we had been a good customer and probably wouldn't be coming back and he said, "My bad". That's it! I walked out and ordered from someone else

I hate to say it, but an absolutely terrible place to take your vehicle for repairs. I have used Ascent several times and most recently I have decided I will never use them again. Gave them one more chance and made an appointment ahead of time and was told to be there at 8 AM to drop off my truck, called at noon said it would be ready by five, show up at five and they didn t even touch it. No courtesy call and I had to cancel appointments as a result of their unprofessionalism. Last time I used them they did a wheel rotation and did not tighten the Lugnuts on one of my trucks and the wheel fell off while driving! My suggestion is to find another place. Plenty of options up and down the valley. Sorry Chris, but you need to get your operation in order!

Chris and his guys are the BEST. They work fast and get the job done right the first time. He does not over charge and communicates in an honest and authentic manner as to what you exactly need for your car to be running it s best. Thank you Chris!

My husband and I took our truck in on a whim for a new brakes. We called before to see if they had anything available (our brakes were dragging and on their last life) They got it done right away, same day and even took extra care of our vehicle, topping off the oil and windshield fluid. Thank you so much! We ll defiantly be back and refer others to here.

Great shop. I'm a new customer, but experienced with auto repair shops. These guys did a great job keeping my limo fleet on the road. I recommend them and plan to keep sending my vehicles there. Thanks again guys, much appreciated.

These guys went the extra mile on my car when I needed it in a pinch. Steaming burning oil on a 2007 BMW X3 and they swapped the head gaskets in a day. Then left me with advice on cleaning up the gunk in the crank case after 106,000 Miles. Many hours over the estimate without the extra charge. Just outright generosity, interest in serving new clients and seeing the job through with great attitudes from the owner to the tech s and the front office. Tricky to find behind and below Pier13 Liquors but worth the call to Ascent Automotive!

Just spent 1200 dollars to replace a rotor, and bearing only to see brake fluid pooring out of the brake line. The same side as brake, rotor and bearing they replaced. They refuse to help and say it was probably damaged from the bearing blowing, even though they did a full inspection. I drove the truck 2 hours home and haven t touched it. So I ve filed a bbb complaint, and a complaint with the Colorado auto industry division. Not to mention they charged me 1193 dollars for 1 rotor, 1 bearing, 1 pad, 1 key. It s sad that the people of this small town are so easily manipulated to pay so much for such poor work.Service: Brakes

Great customer service! Our vehicle broke 200 miles away as we were on our way home. They dropped everything to expedite our repair and were very reasonable with their prices.

Took my Jeep in for a Gremlin that just couldn't figure out. Showed real commitment in figuring it out. Called me in multiple times to try new things until finally found the bug and squashed that sucker. Charged me for the work done not the time to figure it out and when I needed something small that didn't require parts they hooked me up. You can trust these guys.

An unbelievably amazing group of guys. Jim went absolutely above and beyond. He has heart, integrity and kindness. Amazing attributes in anyone... especially a mechanic! I absolutely trust and value Ascent!

As a 20+ year resident of the Vail Valley I can assure you can't do better than Ascent Automotive. I've occasionally had to work with other shops when I'm stranded out of town and something always goes wrong. These guys are the pros I can always trust.

Brett at the desk is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The mechanics are all easy going easy to talk to and very experienced. Owner is also a mechanic and is the best in town.

Got me right in and diagnosis my car. I thought I needed new brakes n after checking the car out said brakes we ok... probably a rock got in. Refreshing to know they didn't sell me brakes I didn't need.

Jim tried to sell me a $265.00 battery you can buy at Walmart for half that and was very upset I did not buy his. Wouldn't recommend thier services.

Jim and his team took care of my car. The right control arm and ball joint was replaced. Super pricey but Jim and his team took care of the problem.

My wife was having wheel issues at 5 on a Friday...these guys stayed opened until she arrived and made the vehicle safe for her to continue her drive...they saved the day...bravo men and thanks
