A huge thanks to Gerald and Kelso and the whole crew at Pro Tech auto for taking such good care of our family truck. When things weren t running right, we brought it into the shop and they worked tirelessly to get us back on the road. When we still had issues after taking it home, they covered the cost to get it towed back and make it right. Thanks to them, we have our truck back now and it is running better than ever. I would highly recommend them for all of your classic car needs.

Excellent work! Thanks for finding the rusty bolts that needed replacing. The rusted bolts could have failed if they had been reinstalled. Safety first through preventive maintenance. My family will drive a much safer car. Thanks for the professional experience at Pro Tech!

Man $20,000.00 into a car that still leaks oil. My rear axle came detached from my vehicle at 40mph after they gave it the thumbs up. Then i had to pay more for that. They took no responsibility for anything. My total also grew by $5000.00 without me knowing. Rhey just added it on so at the end i was real surprised. Dont put yourself through what i went through just because protech pays for extra advertising. Youre better off going to grease monkey or something. Very dishonest company. They take no responsibility for the mistakes they make. Terrible morals as far as companies go. The owner wont even call me back. What a joke.

Took my 1955 Tbird built and restored by my grandfather to have rods replaced and get it running after it was parked for three years. I should ve know the shop was incapable when they called me and asked me to order replacement rods because they re too difficult to find and they d have a hard time locating them in town . I did a simple EBay search and quickly found the rods, ordered them and took them to the shop for install.After they installed the rods, I received a call from Gerald stating the motor had no compression, would be extremely difficult to remove unless also being pulled with the transmission (I know this to be untrue as I installed the motor with my grandfather) , and stating a number of issues he saw in his opinion . All in all, he thought I d need to invest 25k to get the vehicle in good condition. Also stated he didn t have someone in house to do the motor work. Clearly indicating it s more so an inability than a real issue.I KNOW that an experienced mechanic will get this motor to turn.Protech is clearly capable of doing work if you want an easy install EFI or a newer upgrade, but they re not the experienced classic auto shop you re looking for if you have a real vintage auto.

Would rate negative 10 stars if I could. Had a driver for this company run me off the road into oncoming traffic in Fort Collins then told me to 'learn how to drive a*****e.' Then followed me to a dirt road, took my picture, and said he would find my house and kill me. Still have yet to hear back from management about the incident but I will NEVER use this company if this is the type of people they hire. Completely unprofessional and irresponsible.

Great place. Everyone really knows their stuff and if they don't won't lie about it. Very fair on pricing and I've recommended several friends and they have all had great experiences

We had an issue with our car and we had tried to fix it on our own. When that didn't work we gave in and took it to a mechanic. When that didn't work either I started thinking the car wasn't worth the fixing but, I also didn't want to go through the hassle of selling and buying a new car. When I asked a few mechanics if they thought it was worth it to keep my car they said yes. I continued to take it to others until I found Pro Tech Auto. This shop was wonderful and everyone was friendly! Kelso, in particular, has been great! He was honest with us letting me know that it would be in our best interest to get a different car if possible. I appreciate the fact that he didn't try to fix anything that didn't need fixing and that he tried to help for the long run. Kelso has taken his time to truly help and didn't just offer a temporary fix. I would definitely recommend Pro Tech Auto and Kelso!

I've been looking for months for a reputable and mom/pop shop for a long time that specializes in clutches. I've called around and couldn't get in for over 5-6 months or other places wanting over 7k to do the clutch replacement. I've done replacements of my clutch before on my nv3500 and it would always take me a long while until I could finish it and be at risk of hurting myself even with a transmission jack. I needed it done but at a reasonable price.I was told by a few friends who worked at Pickens Tech about Pro Tech Auto and after a quick phone call I was sold. Between under the price I was quoted to being able to come in as soon as they had an opening which was under a week! GT did great on my Dodge Ram and even fixed an issue with my exhaust leak I was planning on getting to eventually when I had time. The clutch feels amazingly smooth, better than even how I've installed it, the looseness was gone from the shifter and it was done all under 1,800 but can be cheaper if you provide the part vs the crazy prices I got which was from 3,400 cheapest (AAMCO which I don't recommend per horror stories) to over 7,000 if I did the Ram dealership and for a 1998.5 that's insane.When I had a few questions, they didn't hesitate and answered them right away and fixed any issues.I plan from now on take any of my vehicles if they need work to Pro Tech. I saw them working on a 54 bel air and a beautiful 1959 Corvette including some more 90s/early00s vehicles as well.Thanks guys, you have made me a life long customer.Services: Transmission, Transmission repair

Not enough can be said about this place, 5 star across the board, between the knowledge base, the professionalism mixed perfectly with quality customer service and outstanding personality you couldn't ask for a better more reliable place to take your car be it a classic all the way to modern tuner this is your place to go. 5 stars aren't enough for this shop. Honesty and quality, you couldn't ask for better in any department.

Pro Tech rebuilt the carb, changed the points and changed some fluids and air filter on my '67 Vette this week. I got it back yesterday. I can not speak highly enough about Pro Tech, my car has never run like it runs now (I've owned it for 10 years). Not only did they do fantastic work but they kept me informed of everything they thought needed done before they did, including replacing the air filter. They got the work done very quickly, most of the time my car was in their shop was spent waiting on parts to rebuild the carb. I highly recommend Pro Tech, whether you have a classic or a modern care, give these guys a call!Services: Carburetor cleaning, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Great guys, great mechanics. Been bringing our car here for about 5 years. They've always been less than everyone else, have worked with us on price. They're honest, they care about you and your car. They've done it all on our '03 Nissan Altima, from struts, brakes, radiator, alternator, starter and oil changes. We're still on the road at 155,000 miles

Did a great job on a front brake pad replacement on my 96 Buick. My regular shop had new management and wasn't offering the great pricing they normally do. Called up this shop and asked what they'd charge just to install the parts if I bring them in and they easily beat everyone elses prices. I was happy with the quality and quick service. Brought in vehicle the same day and waited in the small but very clean and well stocked waiting room. They brought me back in garage to point out some pther things that needed attention and offered better pricing when shopping around for the work. I'll need some work done 8n the near future and trust them to get the job done right at a great price. Worth checking out if you need affordable and quality car repairs.

Kelso helped me out in a pinch. My transmission was going bad and he was able to find out what was wrong with the car. He was able to get me in faster than the other places that I have called. I was able to turn in my car and get my transmission fixed the same day I turned in my car. Very helpful, willing to put in the wrench time to figure out what was going on with the car and get me in and out with no hassle. These guys are great and the next time I need work like this on my car I am definitely coming back.Service: Transmission

I found Pro-tech automotive while looking for a professional, high quality service shop that could help during an unexpected time of need. Kelso got me in the same day after ordering the parts I needed. Their shop is clean, they were all professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. They quoted me a very fair, competitive price, and got my repairs done efficiently and correctly the first time. The respect I have for Kelso, Gerald, JT and the entire Pro Tech operations is impeccable. No matter the issue, these guys will work their hearts out to make sure the problem is not only resolved, but that the experience you have is second to none. They truly treat your vehicle as if it were one of theirs. In my most recent experience, my F-150 was misfiring and had me worried. They offered to even help get me towed to the shop to avoid any safety concerns while driving with the engine misfiring. Once the truck was there, Kelso went right to work. Turns out one of the coils/spark plugs had melted and the issue could have been MUCH worse. He was able to scope out all the melted plastic and have the new part ordered and in house in a timely manner. In about an hour or so I was back on the road without any issues. We have four totally different cars: Ford, Mini Cooper, Scion, and Lexus. You bet we take each and everyone to their shop when things come up. Thank you for being knowledgeable and efficient with all your work! You guys are awesome!

I've taken my cars to many places but never had the attention to detail that these 3 men give to my car's! They have been attentive, fair, knowledgeable, and most important very honest. They are not looking to rip you off or make you pay for unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend Pro Tech, that's where I'll be taking my cars for my automotive needs from now on.

The engine in my car was surging and the check engine light came on. Tried this shop. Was told I had a leak in the manifold.Got my car back drove about a mile and it did the same thing. Took it back again and was told it had another air leak. Asked them to park it inside over the weekend, so it would not get damaged. Picked it up and the car was filthy and had pine needles all over it. Thanks!Total so far 1000.oo. picked my car up drove a short distance. It did the same thing. Was told to bring it back.Fool me once shame on me. Not wasting anymore money on these people.Took my car to Mike Naughton Ford. They replaced the fuel filter and cleaned something the carburetor. 250.00 car works great.Figure it out for yourself. One star is to high.

I had a very good experience when I brought in my 1978 Jeep Wagoneer. They assessed the problems, offered options, fixed the problems, and even put gas in the tank for me... all at a good price. I highly recommend this shop, especially if you have a classic or high performance vehicle.

Why are these places allowed to stay open and scam customers?!? They don't work on older vehicles.They advertise that they do only to find out it's all smoke and mirrors and false advertising

I have had all my automotive maintenance and repair done at Pro-Tech Automotive for almost 10 years. They are great to work with, they communicate very well, they are quick and get repairs done when they say they will be done. They are honest and prices are good. I recommend my friends to go to Pro-Tech Automotive all the time.

Gerald and his crew definately nailed it and did me a good a job helping me finish my project car. These guys assuredly go above and beyond. Would recommend them to anyone who needs their project vehicles to be up and running the correct way. Very professional and polite. Go Pro Tech Automotive!

These boys at Pro Tech Automotive know what they're doing! This is a Top notch shop for classic vehicles or your automotive needs! Kelso is very thorough with his communication & description of all the work my truck called for to perform the way it should! He follows through with high expectations & will deliver when he says or atleast notify if he can't. He delivered my fully restored classic chevy C10 (step side) for me with the quality workmanship to match! These guy's are exceptional and the real deal! They put in a new control switch for my coolant fan so i can regulate as needed, put in a pcv value with vacuum line, set my carburetor to altitude from sea level, replaced a gasket that caused a bad exhaust leak and even did some work to my distributor so i could get all i can out of that. My trucks workmanship was done as if it was their truck wich speaks volumes of the respect level they have for it! Everything was done to compliment the truck and i cannot be happier or say enough about these people. Thanks so much you definitely earned my business going forward!

This place is outstanding, Kelso and the guys here helped me out in a jam and I will definitely be returning and referring anyone i can ,also best price in town and quality service. I'm just sorry I didn't find this place years ago. I have a Cadillac that is equivalent to one of my kids (lol), and and they took very good care of it. Top shop for all your needs in Aurora. Even willing to do modifications! I had a 2018 Subaru WRX and never had a single issue with their work or experience. Best damn guys in the car scene.

This shop is legit. They were honest and up front with pricing. They swapped out my carburetor for an efi holly sniper fuel injection system. Works great gentlemen and thanks again.
