Wow I am truly impressed. For anyone who thinks women get ripped off at mechanics, this is the place.Brought my little car in thinking I was going to need a majorly expensive repair, agreed to the cost and was prepared to take the blow. These guys got her up and then told me it was something substantially less expensive. I would've had no idea, I already agreed to the larger sum. The integrity at this shop has earned a customer for life.

I love taking my car to Plummer's Auto! They are honest and no nonsense. They take care of what I brought my car in for, and they will let me know if there is anything else I need to be aware of, without trying to upsell or pressure me into other work. They are a good and trust worthy business.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! I took my wife s car there because the transmission wasn t working properly. I was told that it was the V-Tech system. They charged me $800+ and said it would fix the problem. It didn t!! We are no closer to having the vehicle, in a working order!! The icing on the cake!! It was left out in the hailstorms and has dents from hood to trunk!!! The guy said and I quote did you have hail damage before, well you do now unbelievable. I feel absolutely taken for a ride by this place. Wish I could give zero stars!!!Service: Transmission repair

Nothing better than taking your car in for new brakes and being told that they are not needed yet. I have used this shop a few times in the past year with different vehicles and their honesty never ceases to amaze me! This is my new go-to shop for all vehicle repairs.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Plummer s Automotive to anyone who needed work done on their car. Bert and the rest of the team was absolutely amazing. They were fair and honest with their prices and services, and were so efficient at completing everything. I trust that when I drop my car off at Plummer s, they re going to take great care of it. You can tell they care about providing great service to their customers. Plummer s will definitely be my go-to mechanic shop. Thank you for everything!

Honest and knowledgeable staff here. Brought my truck in after getting some questionable work done and more quoted by a different shop. Came to Plummer's, and they did right by me. Found none of the issues the previous shop had quoted me for, and my truck has been running fine ever since. I am so glad I trusted these guys for a second opinion. They saved me nearly $1000. Thanks guys!

Took our durango in for an absolutely massive oil leak and they found it was the upper oil pan gasket and then after they fixed the gasket they found it leaking from the harmonic balancer. Now thinking there would be a massive extra charge we were freaking out but THANK GOD! They didn't charge us for the labor. Our parts and labor charges were reasonable. Thanks God for these guys. I will be using them in the future

I brought my Buick Encore in because of a coolant leak. I pretty much knew it was the reservoir (coolant was spurting out of the connection). I had called another shop that wanted to charge me a large diagnostic fee, that wouldn't be applied to the repairs. The man I spoke with there was also telling me about parts that were a "one and done" sort of thing when a car overheats. Talked to Bert here at Plummer's. He tested the system, replaced the reservoir and then tested again to make sure I didn't have leaks anywhere else. All of that, and for less than a third of what the other shop was trying to charge. If you want an honest shop, with reasonable prices, and great service, bring your car here. I grabbed a handful of cards to give out.Service: Engine repair

Went there after Big O told me my wheel bearing were bad. Took it in yesterday wasn t the bearing it was my struts bolts put on wrong. In the times we live in honest people are hard to fine. These guys care. Every single mechanic here is truly passionate about what they do. They offer competitive pricing, lighting fast service, and above all, they always have a smile on their faces.On a more niche note, they install customer parts without warranty at the same competitive prices which is hard to find from other mechanics in the area.

I've been going here for over 20 years and I will not take my vehicles anywhere else. Unless it's for something they don't do. They've never steered me wrong and they took care of my mom's vehicles for over 20 years as well. Bert and Tim and all they guys are stellar and I recommend Plummer's to everyone who asks. My most recent visit was a lot of small to medium repairs on my 2001 truck and they took care of it all flawlessly. Thank you so much!

I tend to work on my own vehicles so I can tell when a shop is being honest or not. Plummer's did an excellent job at a fair price and didn't try to upsell me on anything. They were also good about communicating when I'd have my vehicle back and followed their time commitments.Another thing I've noticed with some shops is they'll leave keys in the vehicle or the vehicle unlocked for ease of access. Plummer's was good about keeping the vehicle locked when it was not in the shop.I'll probably stick to wrenching on my own cars when I can because I enjoy it, but when on a time constraint Plummer's makes all the sense.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

This place is detailed and straight forward. He'll split up Major repairs when possible so that you can schedule out the expenses. I have a high mileage vehicle, so I need these guys to safely keep my car in top condition. Small repairs on our newer vehicle are a cinch here too. They are clear about what needs to be done and how much it will cost.

UPDATE: had to give the 1 star as I noticed about a week after having them fix AC issues, they did not re-attach the coolant recovery tank. Notified them and they re-attached it. NOW, after having my father check other issues, he noticed that the power steering fluid reservoir was not attached, along with the AC line not attached and the air intake duct wasn t attached either. My father has taken his vehicles here for over 20 years as well. This was not quality work for $1,600. I will be in to notify them of their other mistakes even though the issues have now been resolved by my father.2 stars because this has been my primary shop for over 20 years and no issues that I am aware of , would have been 1 star otherwise. Brought my car here as AC wasn't working. I was told I had a leak in the discharge hose and AC condenser - $775. After they fix that, they call to tell me the compressor is out and they couldn't do a pressure test before because of the leaks - $800. I understand that they couldn't do the pressure test however, they should have told me that at the beginning before I sunk $775 in labor and parts that are worthless unless I spend another $800. Look at the other reviews here and another guy had the same issue of them not being upfront about AC issues. Seriously damaged the trust I have in them.

My mother in law recommended this auto shop when I had mentioned that I needed some maintenance work done. I had my brakes and fluids changed. They completed the job quickly, at a fair price, and even kept me from replacing parts that were still in good condition.

This is by far the best auto shop I've been to. I've been going there for about 3 or 4 years now and I won't take my vehicle any place else. They're knowledgeable and very honest. They're also reasonably priced. Burt is who I've always dealt with and he is just wonderful!

I'm not sure if words alone can put into perspective the level of service and kindness that I received from Bert and Plummer's Auto today. My A/C compressor was failing, and I brought my truck in to have them diagnose it. After the diagnosis, Bert called me and explained, fully, (I must reiterate "fully"), the situation, as well as the possible solutions. He was straight-forward and honest, and told me straight up, what his opinion on the matter was. I followed his advise and had my truck repaired.Upon picking up my truck, Bert again explained everything that he had done, and what I should expect. He even explained how this particular system works. Which, being the inquisitive person that I am, fulfilled a lot of unasked questions. The service and the customer service was, by and far, the best automotive service that I have received. Not to bely my own age, but it certainly reminded me of the days of old, when the auto mechanics were honest and reputable. Bert has earned my future automotive requirements!

I have been taking my vehicles to Plummers for years. I was happy with them up until about a year ago. They used to be informative, competitive, and honest. These days the honesty is not there or the new crew is ignorant. I took a car in for a diagnostic. They charged me 100.00 for the diagnostic test and they told me nothing was wrong with my car. Three months later after the car would not start. they told me the engine was blown and wanted to charge me 5000.00 to fix it. They came back at me with a discount, they wanted to charge me 4000.00 to fix the car. Thanks. I thought nothing was wrong with the vehicle?They used to be cool, but now it's a down right cash grab.

Honest and straightforward. Customer service is awesome. Fancy signs and lily white uniforms DO NOT guarantee mechanical competence. Plummer s saved us a ton of money on work that wasn t necessary. Also they ll do oil changes using your own oil which tire places like Les Schwab and Discount Tire refuse to do. (I use a special severe service, extended life oil.)

We took her car in because we were having a coolant leak, they did a pressure check and we were told it was the radiator paid close to a thousand dollars for the repair. Three days later we still had a coolant leak and now it is the timing housing or some gasket that will cost another 600$. I feel if you doing a pressure check in your equipment in employees know what to doing you should be told everything that's is wrong with the car. I will take my business elsewhere and get a proper diagnosis.

I've been a customer here for over 20 years and have enjoyed the relationship...they never try to sell you a repair if you don't need it...this is uncommon in the auto repair industry...their honesty in diagnosing a problem is refreshing ...have always been greeted by Burt, and trust him with all of our car repairs, oil changes and tire purchases. You can't go wrong with this business...give them a try and I'm sure you'll find their services to be top quality.
