I think they started scamming people as they are losing customers. I have recognized two cars over there. I haven t seen such like horrible customer service and they trying to charge customers unfairly. I scheduled an appointment with them via online website by CarAdvise. The price was $23.45 when I scheduled for RideShare Inspection. After I arrived at the store, David changed the the price to $89.99 with shaking his hand. He told me two different prices in less than 5 minutes. I m wondering that you guys are are started deceiving and stealing people.I never ever come back to your scammers store for anything service.

I brought my Tacoma in mid week and waited on site during the oil change. They included a free tire rotation, which is always appreciated, and provided a few recommendations on services to keep in mind down the road. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, I'll be back.

Fantastic experience here with new tire install and alignment. The service manager, Dave, is very communicative and helpful in recommending additional services for customer consideration. Job well done by his team of technicians - very satisfied with the work performed. Highly recommend!

I went to another Pep Boys location previously and had a horrible experience so I am grateful for my experience here. I set an appt for a tire rotation and balance and it was completed in about 30-25 minutes! Thanks!!

This company is a terrible company. I have had issues in the past but was willing to give them another chance. Pep boys will never get any of my hard earned money again and I will tell everyone I come in contact with to never use them. If they were the last company on earth that could fix my vehicle, I would just walk. I was going to buy 4 tires for my vehicle but unfortunately life happens and I was not able to afford 4 tires this month. I was able to buy 2 with installation. I was told that since my vehicle was an all wheel drive that pep boys was not allowed to only put 2 tires on. It had to be all 4. This is my issue. It is my vehicle not theirs. If they don't want to sell to me then tell me. Tell me I am a sorry piece of junk and I am not worth a single breath of time. But to dictate how many tires I can put on my vehicle is not their business. Cigarettes have a warning on them that they might cause cancer if I smoke them but it doesn't say if I buy them I have to smoke the whole pack. I have a choice. This is the problem we are facing today. Companies like pep boys are trying to dictate what they want and to not allow you to have a choice.

I've been a Pep Boy's customer for the better part of 15 years and the experience has almost always been positive. That said, my experience at this location today was horrific. Sadly, Pep Boys may have just lost me as a customer for good because of this one location. I dropped my car off this morning for my appointment and it took the staff 7 hours to do a simple oil change. Not only did they try to act like that was a normal amount of time for an oil change, but they didn't even start the oil change until 6.5 hours had already passed (conveniently right before they closed).As an added bonus, they charged an outrageous 90 dollars to install a new battery I'd already purchased. Another Pep Boys nearby quoted me 10 dollars to do the very same job. Having replaced my own battery many times (often in less than 5-10 minutes), I was stunned when the manager billed 90 dollars for the install fee. Had i known they were going to rob me blindly I would have done the battery install myself.Do yourself a favor and stay away from here unless you enjoy being scammed. There are actually multiple one star reviews on this location today alone. That should speak volumes about how this place operates.

Car was not tended to timely. Tires were inflated well beyond recommended PSI. Rims were scratched and damaged on all four tires.

Extremely disappointed with my service today. I have been going here for the past 3 years since I moved here and I feel like I was scammed rather than treated accordingly as a loyal customer. I went in for a routine oil change and brought in my own car battery to be exchanged. This service is $10 quoted after I called another pep boys location after this experience. My appointment was at 11am today. I dropped my car off a little early. I was told I would get a call when my car was ready. I was NOT told at this time that my car would take longer than usual. I typically wait nearby somewhere because the longest it takes is usually an hour, 2 hrs max and run errands while my car is getting an oil change. I came back at 2pm and my car still was not worked on. I was then told that they were running behind and I told you we will call you when you car is done . I explained that my appointment was at 11. But this seemed to be dismissed. I had to get a ride home and as 5pm rolled around I still did not get a call about my car being ready. I decided to head over there because I do not live super close by and had to get a ride again to that location. I get there at 5:26pm and my car is in the garage but not being worked on. I asked if it was ready and was told they are almost done. They then proceeded to work on it at 5:30pm (for an 11am appt time). I wait no more than 20 mins. I get the bill and it is $192! Seriously?! They charged a 150 hourly labor rate and charged me $90 to change out a battery that I supplied. What is the point of having an appointment if my car is not going to be prioritized, if I am not prioritized at that exact time? I feel scammed, ripped off and was made to wait for almost 7hrs for a simple and quick service. I don t understand how my car was not prioritized when I had an appointment and then they proceeded to charge me a ridiculous rate. Nothing was offered as service recovery. No discount, no battery change fee waived, instead I was charged an unfair amount of money and told that long wait times are just the nature of the business . I m sorry but that is not what you say to someone who is clearly upset about their experience. As a nurse, if I responded to my patients that waiting a long time is the nature of the business, this would not fly and it should never ever be an excuse or exception in ANY type of business. Every professional/business rendering a service should be held to the same expectations. Pep boys, I think I will be taking my car somewhere else from now on. I m disappointed in the experience and I won t be coming back.

This is a disappointing location of Pep Boys. I brought my car in to be looked at because there was a sensor that going off on my dash. This was the main reason I came!! I figured why not get an oil change while I was here. I told them I was already going to my normal mechanic for my brakes later in the week. The guy Dave could not bother to listen to anything I said and was so focused on the fact that I needed my brakes that he did my pull change and totally ignored the only reason I came here! Soo Dave apparently is a one of those men that feel women are incompetent and unable to understand and take care of their automobiles. Well Dave you have successfully lost Pep Boys from a customer! I'll take my car to Les Schwab for tires from now on. They respect me and believe that as a woman I can and do take care of my own car just fine without a man telling me what to do!!

Traveling from GA to CA and had some tire issues. Called a few other locations on our route but got nowhere with anyone even willing to take a look. It was 15 min off the route to this location, but I called and Dave said come on over . In 30 min he had the bad tire replaced, he coordinated with my home store to get the warranty info so I didn t have to and sent us safely back on the road with a kind word and a smile. Hands down, the best service one could ask for; add to that we are traveling across country and far from home when something unfortunate happens, and this kind of fast and friendly service makes the stress just disappear. Thank you, Dave!!

I made an appointment for an oil change scheduled at 11am. I was monitoring the service tracker that was texted to me upon making the appointment. The service was not performed for 6 hours and wasn't started until an hour before the business closed. They did not have time to do a break line flush or replace the cabin air filter because I wanted my car back after 7 hours.

Called on Monday & asked for an appointment to get tires rotated on 1 car while I wait. Arrived for the appointment on Wednesday and was told it would be a minimum 2 1/2 hour wait. Guy at the counter said they usually tell people that when making the appt..It ended up costing me double because of the need to Uber home & back. It took them 4 1/2 hours to complete the job & left me without wheels most the day.They were polite & told me I d be needing tires soon, but I ll be buying them and having them mounted elsewhere. My time is valuable.

Ever since I took my car to these people more and more issues started to occur. I came to get my radiator fixed which they said they fixed but a week later it leaked again, and then they diagnosed another issue with a transmission leak which they said they fixed but here I am stuck on the side of the road. I recommend only letting them do a tire change. If that!

Took our truck here for service and they said they fixed the issue. We had to come back a day later because they claimed another problem caused another leak? What a coincidence. Another lady walking in said the same thing happened to her. Don't know how this place got 3.5 stars. Never again! Keep your receipts!

Lied about services rendered. They don't check everything they say they do. Had to check my own air filters after they said they were OK, they were not. I noticed my car was running a little rough so i decided to check them myself and they were in dire need of changing. One of the air filters i knew for a fact they couldn't even get to because something was wrong with the glove box and i had a part which i needed to replaced. If they did get the glove box off, they wouldn't have been able to get it back on.They also tried to tell me I needed an alignment after I had just been to a tire place and had my alignment checked. Do yourself a favor and take it to an actual garage, not these scam artists.

Took my car here a month/month and a half ago to have tires replaced/mounted/balanced. They cross threaded 3/4 of my lug nuts- they had shredded metal all through the inside and were a bear to remove with a 36" breaker bar. They also had one put on there so poorly and over-torqued that it sheared the stud coming off. I would not recommend a garage that can't be bothered to at least ensure that they properly install the only parts of a car that secure the whole assembly to the road. The only reason they got a second star from me is that they were able to fit me in next-day when I stopped by. Should not have taken them up on that...

Rescheduled three times with this location for a simple oil change. I called to confirm my appointment and was told I set my appointment @ 9 am on a Saturday (something I would never do) but still agreed to get my oil changed @ 1 pm just to get it finished and out of the way. I am just picking my car up now @ 4:40. There is no way that it takes three and a half hours for a simple oil change. Customer service is not a strong suit for theses gentlemen. I called to gather an estimate of when my car would be completed and was met with a very stand off-ish tone from Dave saying he would give me a call when my car was finished. If you are a young woman who is worried you won t be treated fairly while getting routine maintenance on your vehicle DO NOT go here thinking you will gain a positive experience. It will be the opposite of that.

If your a female take a man with you if you go here hate to have to say it like that but these guys we ll take advantage of you if not , I was extremely disappointed and ended up paying 200 for absolutely nothing so just a quick follow up took my truck to a place down block and got everything done under 450 turns out you CAN replace and locate one coil which was so disintegrated they saved it to show me where at pep boys they charged me 179 for a inspection visual and hands on inspection Where he said we checked and rechecked and no I can t replace 1 coil at a time , also I didn t need a new compressor it only needed a switch reconnected - so good thing I didn t pay $5000

0 stars! This is a horrible shop. Absolutely horrible! Brought my car in for overheating and told them my cooling fan wasn't running. they upsold me on additional things that weren't broken, and didn't fix the problem I came in for, as it overheated again the next day. I went back in and told them they needed to replace my cooling fan. They did after the 3rd time telling them, and gratefully did so at no charge. However, now the other parts they "fixed" that they didn't need to caused more problems. When I told the service manager David when I brought it back for the 4th time in a week, He laughed at me, and said they didn't know how to fix the problem, and told me to go to a dealer. They should NOT be mechanics, whatsoever! Don't go!

I towed my car to this location. That night it snowed. They scratched an entire one week old vehicle removing the snow. Every side of my car is scratched!!! Not even 100 miles on my car, my car is RUINED.

My car was broken into and severely damaged in front of the 18385 E Girard Ave, Aurora, CO 80013 Pep Boys. I got no help from them. All they said is it wasn t their responsibility. No empathy or suggestions on what to do. I had to get a locksmith. I asked if they had video surveillance for the police report and was told they couldn t access it. Do not take your car there. They have no security.

Let me begin by saying Marty was fantastic! He helped with putting air in my tires!Dave was soooooo rude!! I sat outside for 20 mins before I was assisted! He kept looking outside and refused to help! He said I should have come in and made an appointment! For a tire pressure check?!! No way!! All I needed to do was pull up!! What a jerk!

One if those occasions I wish zero stars was an option. Apparently scheduling is too difficult for these chaps, so I suppose I should be grateful I didn't end up trusting them with my car.

I wish I could give a negative rating. This place is a den of thieves, don't get any service done here!!! Absolutely as dishonest as they come!! I had a serpentine belt changed here and the mechanic put it on wrong which caused my water pump to squeal. Then the manager and mechanic tried to get me to spring for a new water pump. Didn't do it. Manager refused to refund me my money. Called once again for an estimate on getting my brakes done. Pads and rotors replaced in the front. I repeatedly said replace the rotors not turn or machine the rotors. Estimate was $300 When they called after the brake inspection the price was $975. Because the calipers had to be replaced as well. They said calipers were $167. EACH!! I looked on line at the same auto parts store and they had calipers for $40 each. Plus the manager Dave said rotors were $125 each funny I found them for $44 each. Same store. I asked if they could use the cheaper parts since this was a beater car and they told me what model the parts were. They marked the parts up 100%.!!!! No way !!! that is highway robbery. But they did the oil change without my accepting the bid and tried to charge me $75 for high millage oil change. I had told him I didn't need the high millage oil change just the standard regular oil. These guys are total scammers and topwater floaters. The worst most dishonest garage I've ever been to in my life. They suck and I hope the fleas from 1000% camels infest their groins. POS

Made an appointment via their website. Showed up to the location at the time of my appointment. Was told i was not in the system. He said there were a few cars in front of me and said that he can get me in the next day. Drove 500 feet to Big O Tires and got my car fixed in an hour and a half. Pep Boys really understaffed. Only the front desk guy, and was told the mechanic was on lunch.Update the computer system.
