The owner is a good guy. He runs a quality shop that does good work at a fair price. Hard to find these days. Will go back again. I own several cars two with over 100k miles. Places to like this keep them going.

I have used Johnson Auto Repair for years. Today they worked on my suspension and front brakes. They checked everything else for its 100,000 mile checkup and honestly told me what was needed; the antifreeze and x-mission fluid and spark plugs/wires were all fine and still in excellent condition. They could easily have told me otherwise but I believe in their honesty. It's why I keep going back to them for this truck and all my other vehicles. On a cross country road trip and an animal blew my radiator. We were towed here and they were very responsive and were able to have us back on the road within 27 hours of when we dropped it off. They were very understating of our concerns and requests. They test drove the car to ensure it was good to drive the rest of our trip. We are very appreciative of the diligence they put in to get us back on the road. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Lets be honest. As like everything else in this country prices have gone up. Same goes for Johnson. So at least if you have to spend hard earned dollars its good to know that Johnsons has great customer service and great mechanics. They keep you informed on the progress of your vehicle. They let you know what the issues are, what needs to be repaired, the est. cost and the time it will take for the repairs and the options you may have. I know everyone's got different problems different experiences as I've had mines. But in my experience I have too admit I don't really trust mechanic shops however this particular shop made me believe there are still good honest shops out there, they were fair and honest. Brought my 2006 ford escape in with a check engine light. The engine was misfiring according to my cheap equipment, it showed the the number three cylinder was misfiring. So I asked them to do a tune up. Three hours later they called me to tell me that I needed a new engine cause the misfiring was a sign of a much bigger problem. I took my car back home and did the tune up myself and the vehicle is running great. No engine needed! I had rodent damage to my car, so I took it to Johnson Auto Repair and informed them that I had made an insurance claim, basically meaning they could spend whatever it took to get the repairs right. They "repaired" the damage and released the car. This was a few months ago. A few weeks ago I discovered that the rear washer didn't work, so I took a look. What I discovered was that Johnson did very little repair work, and what was done was done very poorly. The mechanic attempted to repair the line to the rear washer by pressing the two ends of the chewed apart line into a plastic electrical connector, a lazy and ineffective repair. It fell apart the first time I tried using the rear washer. I also discovered bare wires that had not been repaired, and that I had noticed before I took it to Johnson. The under hood insulation, that I had specifically told them had been chewed up, was untouched and still in the same chewed up condition it had been in when I took it to Johnson. This was not new damage. I would normally take the car back and let them fix their bad work, but they had their chance to get it right and failed. It cost me almost $500 to find a place to never take my car to again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Highly recommend. These guys give 110% to ensuring you are satisfied. You could probably find cheaper pricing out there from day-trade mechanics or those who have no certs, but say they are "pretty good at fixing cars". The saying "You get what you pay for" is absolutely true here. If you truly care about a vehicle, you won't be disappointed in bringing it here. Say Hi to Rich for me.

I love these guys! They have taken care of 7 family cars over the past 10 years. Always on time, always exceptional service and sometimes under esrtiamte. They do not cut corners, but affordable. They are honest about what actually needs to be done, the different ways of doing it and what can wait. Always freindly, and only had 1 problem with a repair. That mechanc/technician was fired the next day. Good people who do honest work. Have always been able to repair my car for an affordable price. When a dealership kept telling me I needed brakes they checked them and said no. My brakes were good for 3 more years.

My Chevy Cruze sprung a severe coolant leak at midnight while I was picking up a family member at DIA, and I had it towed to Johnson's per AAA's recommendation. Excellent choice. They called me the next morning and mapped out a diagnostic plan to find the leak. Turns out my thermostat housing let go! They had it all fixed up that afternoon. The car runs great now. No overheating. Ron was very professional and made sure I understood exactly what was going on with my vehicle and what steps needed to be taken to make it roadworthy again. If I didn't live 45 minutes away I'd make these guys my regular shop!

Have been using the shop for years as well as other family members and their companies, always has been quality work that they not only stand by but which also lasts. Really disappointed with what I heard was a great company. My boyfriend had his engine replaced in Nov. Started over heating in June/July, had it looked at at the dealership I work at and was informed the intake is leaking coolant and to see if it's under warranty. It is. So We are finally able to get a trailer and a truck to tow it down to get it fixed which isn't cheap. To only have them tell us after only 24 hours a hose is loose and it's fixed. First night my boyfriend drives it, it over heats again. Just frustrated we wasted money to have it towed down and it wasn't even fixed.

I found Johnson's Auto with google's help and I am so incredibly grateful. Ron helped me out significantly when I brought my car in with nearly no brakes. Dropped my car off, he gave me a lift home and picked me up when it was finished. I am thoroughly impressed with the service and hospitality I experienced here. I highly recommend this shop for anything wrong with your vehicle.

My new 05 Mercedes Benz clk 320 had what I call major repairs. It sat in a parking lot for couple of weeks because my warranty didn't cover the repairs. But my family has used Johnson's auto for few years and suggested I call them. Didn't know a good tow truck company, but they suggested the company they work with alot. Finding out the tow would be no out of pocket money and added to the bill was huge for me. Johnson's auto was fast to contact me with estimate of repairs and even cost lower than they quoted me. I am very happy with the service, friendly staff and very efficient with getting my car on the road again. I will tell everyone that needs auto repairs Johnson's auto is only place to go. They will be my only call in the future.

I took my newly bought old 1993 ford f150 to get emissions work done. They did a great job fixing the truck and make it pass the emissions. I took to a different shop first and wasted money and truck end up failing emissions. Fed up and finally decided to go with Johnson's. They are detail and even verified their work taking back to Emissions research facility and validate the emissions. They are little pricy but the quality of work is amazing. Very professional and know what they are doing. I would definitely recommend them.

I had an exhaust hanger repaired , a exhaust bolt replaced, a pre road trip inspection which I m sure they didn t do and some headlights put in all 4 costing $47.59 a piece for a total of $200. When I got my van back my tail pipe was rubbing on my leaf spring because they heated up the metal exhaust hanger to make the rubber hanger fit thus tweaking the exhaust the to rub on the leaf spring. I had to bring it to and exhaust pros on colfax who were AWESOME! And told me that Johnson s auto did a horrible job and that they could fix it for $30 and I was over charged way too much for the repairs . Do not take your vehicle here way OVERPRICED and they do TERRIBLE work.

This place came as a recommendation and I see why. These guys are professional and honest. It s so hard to find great service (let alone a good mechanic) nowadays, but from now on I ll only choose these guys. I d highly recommend them for your mechanical repairs.
