I contacted Eddie the owner of Ground Gear Performance with a basic installation of a radio in a VW Jetta. Eddie said he could do the installation but after about 2 hours he said the unit was bad (I know otherwise because Cartoys could power the unit up but had difficulty in the pinout/harness).I asked Eddie to take the radio home and look on-line for help in getting it installed. The next day Eddie said I'll get the radio back to you today, he didn't. The following day I asked Eddie when he will be down to drop off the radio, he said around 9am. At 11:00am I had to call him checking where he was, "man I totally forgot".When I received the $750 factory VW radio it had nicks, dings and scratches on the faceplate. When I contacted Eddie he said I have no idea, it was in my truck.At the time of this post Eddie hung up on me and I have engaged my attorney.****Please don't use this clown, he's cost me time and money and is incompetent not only in his service/business but how he deals with his customers*****

This guy knows his stuff! He made time for me in his busy schedule to just take look at my issue that I had been troubleshooting for days to no resolve. He looked at my vehicle for a few moments and already knew the solution! Best prices in town and is a down to earth business that is out to help! And keeps the tunes flowing most importantly! Thanks for everything and will recommend this shop to anyone in need of sound system help or I am sure any electrical workings within your vehicle.

Great professionals at reasonable price. Mine was a complicated install on a Mercedes Sprinter, though it took lot extra time to crack few things but they have charged me normal rates. Will go back again and recommend these professionals too.

Installer did not complete the job but expected full payment. I reluctantly agreed to partial payment until job was complete and asked for receipt. He got upset at that request and decided to uninstall everything. Not only did he not return everything to stock he scratched up my head unit and dash during install as well as my door. Spoke with the owner Eddie who apologized and said he would make it right but never heard back. Ended up just installing myself.

Great prices, all name brand products, he even was willing to work with me on the price. It was fast and easy they told me about an hour for all my upgrades. It took his team about 40 mins give or take. Great customer service, the knowledge and professionalism they showed was nice. COVID has made it easier for stores to take advantage of their clients. It's nice to finally being taken care of. I will be taking my wife's car next. I'm not going anywhere else.

So let's start off by saying Eddy is a great overall guy. He gave me the best quote and didn't use no cheap products for the install. I highly recommend Ground Gear for all your audio needs. It was definitely a great experience and I will go back in a heart beat. Thank you for being such a cool dude and making it a no hassle experience.

Great communication, quick install, and great value. Had a high end Kenwood deck installed with a back up camera, and couldn t be happier with the process from start to finish. Why not support a local guy over big box stores when you can have the same install and not pay all that overhead?

Eddy is a nice and knowledgeable guy, but I think he throws too much on his plate at once. I appreciate him for educating me, but on multiple occasions I reached out trying to set up a date with him, but he constantly forgot about me. For someone who flaunts their 5 star rating he really doesn't show it in his communication skills.

These guys took good care of me. I am super late with this review, however, I called them and 20 minutes later they were fixing my sounds right in their driveway. Even offered me a discount since I came to them. These guys are professional and courteous! I reccommend them highly. Took them 20 minutes to fix my sounds! I will never go to anyone else as long as they are in business.

Wow! Eddy and his team have outperformed my expectations. I brought them a hard job, that several other shops around town either couldn t complete or turned away. The Range Rover 2010 Full Size has a unique amp/audio system. It s based on the Harman Kardon Logic 7 system and there are like 1-2 companies that even offer a wiring harness for this vehicle. If it were a Range rover sport or full size years 07-09, this job would be simple. But Ground Gear Performance, knocked it out of the park! Eddy worked with me in the leading weeks to make sure both our expectations were correct and assisted on parts selections. If you have a range rover, take it to Ground Gear Performance. They installed a Kenwood eXcelon DMX907S head unit and wiring harness Spiral Audio IX-LR011-1.Thanks again!

Guys swapped the USB connector to the correct connection in the back of my Pioneer Receiver in a few minutes. Anrdiod Auto is working again

So I've been to a lot of places to get subs installed on my trucks and now that I've found ground gear I will never go anywhere else Eddie was very professional, competitively priced, and always kept me up to date on scheduling time to work on my truck if you need any audio or entertainment system installed look no further than ground gear if I could give em a ten star I would Eddie and his team are A++
