Ellis Automotive came highly recommended to me. When my car was having issues I called to see if they could fit me in. From the moment I heard Jim s voice over the phone I knew I had made the right call. He referred me to a towing company and my car was diagnosed the same day.Ellis sent me texts and emails with photos of the work that needed to be done. He was much more reasonably priced than the dealership and was able to start the repairs. Extremely pleased with the work done on my car and would highly recommend Ellis!

This shop is awesome!Had an issue with my Raptor, and the Ford dealers I contacted could not even get me an appointment for at least a month (standard reply from Ford lately).I called Ellis and explained my issue, and they told me to bring it in right away.They called me within a couple of hours and said it was repaired and ready to be picked up, at no charge! Who does that anymore?!The Ellis team is very professional and courteous and listens to your vehicle concerns.I finally found a shop I have faith in, as they were honest and reliable. These qualities are pretty rare anymore, and you have gained a new customer. I will be telling friends and family to use you in the future if they need a shop they can rely on.Thank you to a great team of professionals!Service: Electrical repair

I love the feeling of confidence I get whenever I take my vehicle to Ellis and when I come home afterward. Their customer service is great in that they are thorough and truthful about explaining what my car needs and the severity of any issues. I never feel overcharged or that unnecessary work is being done to my vehicle. I go to Ellis for all our car needs -maintenance and fixes - for both of our vehicles. I ve even called them when I panicked about a sensor light or odd thing I ve noticed and they re always calm and helpful. When I find a good mechanic, I stick to them like glue. The inside is clean and the people are professional. My engine light came on so I took my Jeep wrangler in Ellis Automotive. They were so helpful and kind. Preston and his brother was called me to communicate what was going on with my vehicle and my options.

My experience was wonderful! I have already referred friends here. I have a German vehicle and it s not easy to find a shop that I feel is trustworthy, affordable, works on German vehicles and also offers excellent service. I did not want to go to the dealership! I dropped my car off Weds. before Thanksgiving and had an update that night and suggestions and solutions by Friday morning. I picked my vehicle up by that Saturday. Kiley was helpful, communicative, efficient and offered great customer service. I will take my vehicle here again and highly recommend!

The staff and service at Ellis has been superb, from arranging a Lyft to/from my home during long hours of service to their thorough work on my Murano, reviewing the bill and explaining upcoming work needed. I recommend them highly.

Ellis Auto has repeatedly given me THE best experiences I ve ever had getting my car worked on, even for things as simple as oil changes. They are flexible, responsive, and great at what they do without the frustrating feeling of getting taken advantage of I ve had at other shops. Truly can t recommend them highly enough!

Okay, now the owner has made me mad at him/her? besides their employees. The owner replied to me saying to send my contact info and never has responded. When someone sets me up like that, I get mad because they shouldn't have LIED to me in the response & now I think even LESS of their unscrupulous practices. MY original review was: The last time I had a vehicle in this shop for diagnosis, after the visit, they sent a mailer via USPS asking about my experience. This recent time I took a vehicle to them for a diagnosis, I received nothing from them, probably because they are now owned by a big corporate type company, so I'll give THIS review now. * I took one of my cars to them 1/23/24 to have them ONLY diagnose where an antifreeze leak was coming from & that's IT. When I picked it up, I found they did unauthorized work to my car. I guess they thought THEY were going to end up doing the repairs, so they were trying to scam me. 1) I was told they had done a complete inspection of my car (not authorized by me) & found that my brakes needed to be replaced. That's a crock because I checked my brakes myself & they are FINE. 2) They also told me that the antifreeze leak was from the radiator. That's the ONLY thing I had needed to know. 3) The invoice they gave to me, after I paid, A) showed the description for my car as a different model than it is. B) documented the car's odometer reading wrong by over 80,000 miles. C) had the description for my "supposed" concerns as: "Fluid Leak, Cooling system" (which IS what I had actually told them) & "Seeing small drips of coolant coming from hoses". I said NOTHING AT ALL about "hoses". There were 3 errors right there that could've been pertinent to the diagnosis I WANTED them to do. So, I guessed they were thinking I was going to have the repairs done there & were trying to scam me for UNNECESSARY repairs. When I asked the guy who was checking me out & taking my money about that issue, he stated, "That's how we make our living". This is NOT an acceptable business practice as far as I'm concerned. Not cool. They assumed I know NOTHING about my cars and acted accordingly. JWP.S. I wonder how many reviews here are actually real reviews. I wonder how the owner responded to a review by Bradley Mcmillan 11 months ago to a review that was just posted 4 days ago. Do they have a time machine?Now, 3/18/24. I'm trying to post another review, but this system brings me to this original review, so I'll add to this one.1st, I guess Google has a problem knowing what date/time it really is because it shows my original post as being sent a week ago which is wrong. More like 2 weeks. 2nd, the supposed owner responded by saying for me to send my contact info to an e-ddress mentioned in the response. I did that and have received NO RESPONSE back, so what's the use? Nothing will be remedied anyway I'm betting. ): JWP.S....I noticed the review given by Adam Wasilik, about the 'tire rotation' problem....Without knowing the type of tires he has I'm still willing to bet the problem was "radial pull". That's when a radial tire gets worn a certain way & then if the tires aren't rotated in the correct way, a worn tire from the right front that's now on the left side will pull in a different direction. Has nothing to due with their "bald tire" excuse. I would think a decent technician would know that.

I have been going to Ellis for over 10 years. They have earned my trust and done excellent work every time. Preston, Jim and Kylie are always honest and up front and let me make the decision after all my questions I ask. I own my own business and appreciate their honesty. I went in for an oil change, and was offered a complimentary tire rotation. After getting my car back, I quickly realized my steering was pulling hard to the right. I returned, and they asked what do you want us to do? I explained that if they couldn t rectify it,to just rotate the tires back. They asked if they should just do the alignment as well. Lol. I said hell no, it was driving fine before. They called to say that they put the tires back, and that the real problem was that my tires were bald (which they certainly are not) and that that s why the rotation failed.When I showed up to pick it up, I was informed that they did the alignment, anyway, by mistake.Not my favorite automotive repair experience.

We live near Ellis and have used them for just about everything. Great customer service and pricing. We ve been very happy. I had a nail in my tire they fixed for me free of cost. They value their customers. Highly recommend.

I broke down outside of Aurora headed back home to Oklahoma. They got me in, fixed, and back on the road the next afternoon. Very kind, reasonable prices, and quick job. They were really busy when I showed up, but they made me a priority and helped me get back home quick.

Ellis came to the rescue. My alternator died and I needed to get it fixed immediately. My regular mechanic didn't have availability until the following week so I did a Google search and called Ellis based on their excellent reviews (4.8 out of 5). They got me in same day and completed the job that day. Very reasonable pricing and they were honest and very courteous.Additionally, yesterday on my way home from work, my check engine light came on. I spoke with Kiley and he told me to bring the car by anytime and they would check the codes. I took it first thing this morning and they were able to have a look. It ended up only being a bad gas cap. Although they spent some time diagnosing, they only charged me for the gas cap.Ellis has definitely earned my return business due to their responsiveness, honesty and courtesy. Brought my car in to diagnose a no crank no start. They were unable to replicate the issues, but told me they had tested my battery, alternator, starter, and they were all good. A week later my starter goes out completely. Not sure if they out right lied to me about testing my starter, but either way, their incorrect diagnosis left me stranded.

3 strikes their out. Called twice for a quote for labor on a radiator install on my C6 Vette, said they would call back both times and never did. Strike 1. Called for my wife's SUV shaking a bit when braking hard and for my 1995 S-10 Fuel Sending Unit (aka pump) replacement, said they typically won't work on cars older than 1996 even though they worked on my truck in the past? Said they would talk to me once I drop off my wife's SUV, seems they did not put that in the notes as it was crickets about my truck when I came in, strike 2. Asked the dumbest question regarding my wife's hard braking ... how fast are you going when it shakes ... ON HARD BRAKING NOT WHEN SPEEDING... on any SPEED when braking 15-0, 50-0 ... you know when SLOWING DOWN. I understand where he was trying to come from, the proper smart question would be "Does this occur only when braking from higher speeds etc ...) Not what speed does this happen ... 3 strikes ... your out.

Been using Ellis Automotive for all our needs. My 2006 vehicle has been fully maintained by Ellis this whole time.... it still purrs. Ellis is so excellent, when I needed my winter fuel injector cleaner, I waited specifically for them to have it in stock so I could give them my business. They are truly one of the best places I ve ever done business with. And not only did I get what I needed, but they also gave me a lot of advice on how to use it properly and get the most out of it and take the best care of my car. They go above and beyond!

My neighbor who used to work at Ellis Atomotive highly recommended them to me. They diagnosed the problem at no cost and recommended I take it back to Firestone so they could honor the warranty.They were prompt and professional and the waiting room was clean.I will be using them in the future!

I don't know where to begin to tell you all how wonderful Ellis Automotive is. Jim and Kiley bend over backwards to make sure they provide superior service, both with the auto repairs & maintenance, and with their customer interaction. They remember faces, and names, and our cars. They are honest. And they always try to do what's right and best for the customer.I can't remember the last time that my repair bill actually ended up as much as their initial estimate.But most recently they gave us a real above-and-beyond service.We had a 23 year old Nissan Frontier truck that was a fabulous vehicle - I would highly recommend - but it was clearly on its last legs the past couple of years with the repairs and $$$ that began to pile up.With this most recent issue, although these guys weren't able to fix it (which was a first!), and they recommended a visit to a Nissan dealer service dept, they spent quite a bit of time with us answering our questions and offering recommendations on how to move forward. Because, in addition to this latest issue, the truck had simultaneously been totaled by our insurance company due to hail damage. We really needed to get a new vehicle. And having said this, Kiley offered to inspect any vehicle we wanted to purchase, for free!And they did.And we have a new car that we will continue to take to Ellis for service. These guys rock!

I had a really great experience with these folks. After three mechanics in a row who egregious overcharged me or were shady, Ellis saved the day! Repairs were done well, quickly, and for an affordable price. Bonus points because the staff was so kind to me and they communicated well when they had to order a part.
