The hotel was really good, the location is excellent and the staff at the lobby were very kind and helpful. One thing that was awful were the couple of cleaning services, OMG, at 7:30am every morning they yell in the hallway of the rooms, they talk very loud between them, they throw a lot of doors and drawers very loud every day, they wake up us every morning we stay there, even this is an hotel were there is a big note in the hallway and bathroom were it says Be respectful dont make noise from 10pm to 9am and this people dont care, we talk to them, and the bad attitude and face they have they even they get mad, and the answer says: this is my job this is the way I do it!Her job is to clean in silence, not yelling with her husband everyday, throwing drawers and doors and hitting everything, SUPER BAD,We really like the hotel but they need to improve urgently in this matter.

This was my husband & I first time , to Aspen Colorado, my family has told me , for years how beautiful Aspen is. Beautiful views and the experience, this beautiful lounge , was absolutely amazing, I felt like " I was at home " the staff is amazing!" They treat everyone the same. The room was cozy, and has the most comfortable beds, personally" more comfortable than our expensive bed at home. It feels like your camping , or staying at a beloved family members home, waking up to snow & beautiful mountains is a postcard memory forever in our memories, your treated like family, not just a guest with a name, as a human being, which honestly, I prefer than any 5 star hotel. I absolutely loved it!I can't wait to come back!Great prices, great staff, cozy rooms, nice healthy breakfast to get you charged up for any activities, beautiful piano by a fire place, you can literally walk a few minutes and your in Aspen Village , I absolutely loved it!!!!!!Thank you!See you next year!!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay in Aspen at St. Moritz and plan to come back! This was my first time staying in a hostel, we had a private bedroom on the third floor with a shared bathroom. They have thought of everything you'd need.Everyone was awesome at the front desk and we loved using the heated pool and steam room. We felt that we got an excellent deal and on top of it we loved the cozy atmosphere of the common areas.Rooms: Our room was a private double bedroom. A simple room but it had a ceiling fan, window, dresser, space to hang clothes and a mini fridge. A few more pillows would've been nice.Walkability: You can walk to everything from St. Moritz. It was very easy to find the hostel and easy to navigate back to.

Had a two-bed suite. Very spacious apt with a full kitchen and sitting area. The two bedrooms were not that big and the mattress on our king bed was not comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helped us carry luggage to the room. Continental breakfast was provided and the options were limited but not bad. The area was very quiet, not far from the main street and bus stops. Room rate was kinda high but it is Aspen I guess.

This budget hotel works hard to provide a true Aspen experience. Be sure to take advantage of the afternoon wine and cookies! The pool is kept at around 90 or 95 degrees, so you can enjoy it year round. The continental breakfast has lots of great options including fresh berries, fresh fruit such as apples, plums, and bananas, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, and hard boiled eggs. I was very impressed with the many offerings.

Our room was on the ground floor. The blinds in the living room were broken and was not closing all the way. There was only blinds in the room and no curtains. You can see through the side gaps in between the blinds. Thin walls as well. Location is close to the center about 10 mins walk which is not bad on a perfect day but it was snowing hard when we went. Overall a good deal for aspen if im being honest

Started in a hostile room, but due to unique circumstances, I opted to upgrade to a regular room. The room was clean, stocked with more amenities than I needed, and was overall great. Both the room and property were beautiful, and the heated pool right outside my door was an unexpected treat, even though I never got to swim.I injured myself on a hunt and ended up in the ER instead of camping up on the mountain as I planned. I still needed to hike up several days in a row to recover my animal, and I was absolutely wrecked every time I interacted with the staff. As you might imagine, being in Aspen as a hunter, I was very concerned with how I would be perceived by those with whom I interacted. To my great surprise, I was treated with more care and concern than I ever have been, anywhere, under any circumstances. The front desk staff made sure I was well taken care of, had everything I needed, and even checked in with me several hours after I checked out to make sure I had made it back off the mountain okay. I'll never forget my stay at St Moritz Lodge and the excellent treatment I received. Thanks again to Tom and the other front desk staff that were so very wonderful. I'll always be grateful.

04/27/2023-04/30/2023-Such lovely people, I ended up having to call because my app I was booking through cancelled my room. So when I called he upgraded me due to my room being given away at no extra charge. Really enjoyed the stay, there s nothing bad to say about this place. We did go when it was off season due to us not knowing about off season. Super cute condo, very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay there again as well as recommend!! They re a 5 star in my book! :)Rooms: The rooms were good size, very relaxing. Enjoyed how each room had its own bathroom and balcony. Bedding was nice.Nearby activities: Wasn t much activities there due to off season but they made the stay great!Safety: Felt really safe staying there, everyone there was nice people.Walkability: Wasn t far from anything. But also wasn t directly in town so it was peaceful to be able to go back to our condo after a long day and relax.

Tom at the desk was kind and accommodating. On arrival, we were offered a glass of wine. The other visitors all sat and chatted. We had a great visit. Great location. Great vibe. The pool and flowers were such a bonus. Thank you!

The location is excellent, close to everything since Aspen is a small town, almost walking distance to shops restaurants etc. We booked room with shared bathroom, the bathroom was clean, bedroom was small and cozy, it was quiet at night, practical and served the purpose. The breakfast was supplied, it's simple and convenient, saved time to find breakfast outside.

I loved this place so much! In all honesty, I really maxed out vacation budget this year and was hesitant to go to Aspen. Everyone know a weekend in Aspen is going to hurt, but we really wanted to go to the JAS fest. I booked the least expensive place with a pool that was also walkable to restaurants. I told my family not to expect much. I didn t read reviews or anything, just saw it s a 2-star hotel. It s incredible!!!!! Beautiful flowers everywhere, at the base of a mountain, comfy beds, quaint, adorable. Most importantly, the staff!!! Tom was like the old friend you were excited to see and catch up with. He treated us like family. The place only has a dozen or so units? Their hospitality fed onto all the guests, so everyone was super friendly and excited about one another s adventures/plans. My husband and I both agreed it had a European vibe, like so much of Aspen. Definitely staying here again!!! Even if the budget says a 5-star hotel can happen, we ll be here!!!

Booked a private dorm with shared bath. Got in late and checked into my room. Paid $175 for a room with no air conditioning or ventilation. My tiny room had a 2' x 2' window and a fan. The temperature in the room was 81. Called the manager and asked to be moved to a room with ventilation, she said that she would have to up charge me for that. She said I should I've read the fine print more carefully. I'm pretty sure the room listing didn't mention that I would be sleeping in an 81 room. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Total rip off. Was a miserable night.

A nice lodge with friendly staff and good amenities. We were a group of 9 guys who needed a landing spot before and after a backpacking trip. We were able to split between two rooms with regular beds, sofa beds and extra mattresses on the floor. Rooms were spacious enough to accommodate us all. We used the pool, took advantage of the breakfast in the mornings, and Tom was a great help choosing restaurants for easy meals.Walkability: We were able to walk into the town center and go shopping, eat at restaurants, etc. Maybe 10 minutes from a great burger place, and closer to other things.

Had a pretty good experience here. Price was reasonable considering how insanely expensive this town is, and Tom was incredibly kind! He was very helpful when it came to recommendations for Maroon Bells souvenirs and restaurants around town, and he s overall just pleasant to chat with. The free breakfast isn t anything to write home about, but saving ~$30 by avoiding breakfast in town is pretty nice. The location is also very convenient and I ve been able to walk everywhere I needed to go. Bathrooms are very well stocked with a surprising amount of things: all soaps, lotion, disposable shaving razors, and mouthwash from what I recall. The only downside I felt was that my room didn t have a screen on the window. I wanted to keep it open most of the evening, but I got a bit paranoid about bugs.

The good: the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The place was quaint and pleasant. The bad: We asked for a wheelchair accessible room. The lodge is not, itself, accessible, which is mostly fine for me. They said I'd need to be able to navigate a single step to get into the lobby but it would be otherwise accessible. What they didn't say: stand up shower only, the side walk is under construction so I had to wheel through grass, there are no grab rails in the bathroom. There were more amenities for skiers than disabled people and only one of those groups are a federally protected class.Other things: the room smelled unbearably like weed when we arrived. The pool was under construction. There is no continental breakfast during the off season, which is not reflected on the website.

located about a 10 minute walk from everything downtown. safe area. the desk workers are so amazing and helpful and will give recommendations and directions to anywhere. always snacks, coffee, cider and wine in the lobby. pool is amazing. it s a full outdoor pool heated to 100 with an amazing view of the mountains. rooms do get warm, but cracking a window fixes it all. the doors are very thin, but other than that totally worth the stay. although it is on the cheaper side for the city it is very worth it all. way more than what one would expect.

I never write reviews but had to on this one to warn other summer time visitors. This room was *absolutely horrible* . For $180 a night No AC, fans were on with a tiny window in the corner, it was suffocating, the room was 81 degrees when we arrived, by the morning it went down 1 degree. HORRIBLE SLEEP I wish I just slept outside also, beds were unusually short (very weird) and beyond uncomfortable and don t get me started with the pillows . can t believe they can charge this much and get away with it because it s Aspen not cool at all.Rooms: Absolutely horrible.

In a town full of complete and utter pretentiousness, this place is great. I was only here to backpack and they were completely accommodating to hold onto my gear while I was backpacking. They are super friendly and supportive. They even suggested places to get affordable food, because every single thing in Aspen is overpriced and expensive. They get it. Highly recommended. They are backpacking friendly.

We had just hiked 3 passes from Crested Butte and we're exhausted. All of the hotel rooms at the St. Moritz we're booked but there were hostel rooms which shared a bathroom with the entire hall. We were tired and the price was right so we checked in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the hostel and hotel were absolutely charming. The kindness seemed infectious as all of the guests were equally friendly. Don't the the hostel put you off, treat yourself to a unique and pleasant stay.

We were trying to have a reasonable budget experience in Aspen which is basically impossible of course, lol. St Moritz is perfect!! Comfy beds, an EXCELLENT continental breakfast, super clean facility inside and out. Gorgeous little pool. I would stay all summer !!!It's the most real, and lovely thing in Aspen...Stay at St Moritz, and hit the mountains, ignore the town Hahaha!!!

Absolutely magical place. A real European pre ski feel with evening wine in the lobby and community breakfast each morning. The owner is one of the most wonderful humans, great to talk with. He s been all over the globe and therefore appreciates the idea that Aspen, also, should be visited by all; The prices are unbeatable in Aspen. The heated pool is a wonderful touch on a snowy night after a day on the mountain. Rooms have a sweet lodge feel-cozy, everything you need, and I love the retro vibe. Location is minutes from everything you want downtown, very walkable. Love this place!

We had a wonderful experience. There was a misunderstanding with our room originally via phone. I asked to speak to the manager because the guy was very rude. The manager was extremely helpful and we got it worked out. Our stay was AMAZING. The place is very clean. The staff was great and I think it s the same guy I spoke to on the phone so I ll chalk it up to a bad day. This is a great location. Parking is close and easy. There were some sleds we could use on the hill by the lodge which my son loved. The rooms are very clean and cute. I appreciated the hospitality. If we ever come back to aspen, we would stay there again! The pool is heated and nice although we didn t use it. I definitely recommend this place!

The rooms look as if they were built in 1805. It possibly used to be a 2 story lodge that is now split into 6 condos. You'll be hard pressed to find hot water if you need longer than 30 seconds to bathe. I'm not sure if this is off season for shops, but nothing is open. The location is nice, if anything we're actually open that is. Noise levels are subjective, but you can hear everything. I can hear the people at the pool, in the next room, over top of the room.To the person that said the rooms have been updated....where?No wine or happy hour was offered for us.

Loved our one night stay at this lodge .I was surprised to see that it is only a 2star hotel.A lot of 3 star hotels I've stayed are worse than this. This one definitely needs an upgrade on star rating. The hotel was very clean, literally 5 min walk from the heart of Aspen Downtown.Breakfast was pretty good as well - cleanly laid out, decent variety of fruits.. staff was really friendly, prompt and courteous..Inside of the room was pretty clean, toiletries were a notch above the regular chain hotels. The outside was very beautiful with nicely mowed small lawn and colorful flowers.. The hotel has it's own street parking which was ample enough.Would love to stay here again.
