I have had a wonderful experience with the staff at AVH. They are excellent communicators and always on time. My therapist, Paige has been very receptive to both my needs and my fears in my rehabilitation. I m look forward to continuing my work with them.

Check-in was very smooth and professional and took a minimal amount of time. Holly was my pre and post op nurse and she could not have been better about keeping me informed as to what was taking place and keeping my wife up to date and escorting her to and from my recovery room. We were also able to have pleasant conversation about some shared interests which lightened the mood. The anesthesiology team let me know about everything that was going to happen as well as answering all my questions and making me feel at ease.

Fast, efficient, friendly staff. I would have liked imaging, but the Doctor did not think it was necessary. I am glad, a few days later, that imaging was not done. I am feeling much better at this time. I can's speak for cost yet, as the bill has not arrived yet.

Aspen Valley Hospital s Diagnostic Imaging Department always does a great job. I go for my annual mammogram and bone density scan and the administration (receptionist), and technicians are always friendly, accommodating and professional. The waiting room is beautifully decorated and the environment is pleasant, doesn't feel like a hospital. The wait time is very short and the experience smooth.

The lady phlebotomist did a really good job. Her touch is so light I barely felt the needle. She is very pleasant too.The registration was really fast too. But the lady did need a little more costumer care... let the patient know where to go or ask if the patient knows where to go and direct them if needed... dont just assume they know where to go.In all it was a nice experience.

Top class medical care from beginning to end!! From the Orthopedic surgeon, Dr Lee to the support teams of nurses, therapists, radiologists, kitchen staff and housekeepers, this is truly the most dedicated group of professionals I have ever had the privilege of meeting and dealing with.Thank you all so much for being such wonderful empathetic and caring fellow human beings. My son was recently hospitalized. It was a scary experience as a family but the doctors, nurses, techs, and everyone on his care team were so kind, patient, and helpful. They answered all of our questions completely and with compassion. They made all of the arrangements to ensure a successful discharge and continued care on his recovery at home. So nice to have such wonderful care close to home.

Every nurse, PA, tech, and specialist was:-polite and personable-eager to listen and address my concerns-actually communicated my concern correctly to the doctor or on callPhysicians had knowledge of my pre-existing Issues. They actually read my file before entering my room! That made me feel safe and comfortable.

I had scratched my Eye while rubbing it with Ski Gloves On. Went to the ER, met up with Dr. Levin, who assisted in the ER, then Dr. Sanders in Opthamology they were two of the BEST doctors I ve ever dealt with. They Both Went Above and Beyond with their assistance. Made great recommendations and prescribed medicine that had me back on the Slopes in a day. Both Doctors were of the utmost professionalism. Thank You both for all your help and caring.SincerelyJoseph DeMarino

Dr. Lally is wonderful! Very thoughtful and thorough and extremely professional. He personally answered all of my and my husbands questions and never rushed through my appointment. I felt that I was the only patient in the office. The office staff were very friendly and professional also. I highly recommend the Ophthalmology office in Aspen Valley Hospital.

Recently had a very helpful and excellent experience visiting the ophthalmology clinic. Their front staff was extremely caring and welcoming, and the doctor was awesome. I was very grateful. There are many other clinics for addressing health and wellness, including radiology imaging, etc that also have excellent, and trustworthy customer service with your best interest at heart from very skilled and knowledgeable specialists. Thank you.

Had an appointment for 6 month eye checkup, got several reminders from the doctor's office and confirmed my appointment. Got there, was seated in the exam chair, and then was told by the tech that the doctor's notes said come back in a year, not 6 months. So I made another appt. for September...

I'm so grateful for all of the women who took amazing care of me in the mammogram department!! What a fantastic team of expertise to be surrounded by and with such obvious dedication & love for their work. The whole experience from my "check in" at the hospital and with my arrival at mammography...Thank You! AVH

This hospital is not affordable or fair. There was only one nurse who took a real concern in me after hearing I had a misdiagnosed image for breast cancer. I was told I could get a biopsy the next day for 7k I felt hopeless as I didn t know of real and affordable options. Only one nurse cared. She took the diligence to seek out affordable options. She found me an imaging center in Denver which did it for 600.00. It took a week to find the right place and then they couldn t take me in for 2.5 months I wondered if I had cancer for this entire time while in a stress response. This one nurse does not represent the entire staff. She is an angel all unto her own.I ve had other experiences there, where the doctor egoically referred to himself by his last name as hero dr. Blah blah blah. Before that, the nurse told me I would absolutely have to get my tonsils removed, as if I had no other option. They were both power driven in dominance and I didn t feel like I received the care I deserved but mostly two people seeking validation for their accreditation.

Everything is top notch except check in. I was told to arrive 15 minutes prior to my appointment. Upon attempting to check in, it was hard to tell which receptionist was available because the structure is circular and you have to constantly walk around the structure to see who is available. When another patient comes, there is no organized way to form a line. When I got to the administrator, I was told I did not need to check in there. When I went to the doctor's office, they were closed until the time of my appointment. Showing up 15 minutes early was a waste of my time since I did not have to check in at front and no one was available to see me anyway. I love AVH but this could use some improvement. Thanks.

Recently I received a total hip replacement at AVH. The experience was one that I would expect from a 5 star hotel. The nursing staff, physicians, PA s and especially all of Dr. Lee s team provided me with exceptional service.I was walking on day one of my surgery without assistance. Thank you AVH for for your support and care

Checking was not convenient. Couldn t see the green lights to check in, depending on where you seat. People cross other people s line because of that. Front desk get upset , so are the patients waiting online.Lab, and x-ray people where excellent

Aspen valley hospital takes no responsibility for My. Chart which is where one goes to find results. I think the hospital is dis functional. I am a human being not a robot. Treat your patients like humans. I m still unable to get my results. No one will take responsibility.

Phlebotomist was sooo quick and painless and I had to have a lot of blood drawn. My appts are always very prompt which is hardly the case when I'm in a big city. I am SOO appreciate of the quality of care, kindness and efficiency in our back yard. Great job AVH!

No stars at all. It all has to do with notifications. My doctor had ordered a blood test from AVH. I received a call from AVH but wasn't able to take it. They did not leave a message or try to call me back. Instead I had to play phone tree roulette to find out where to make the appointment. After a long time I finally got a hold of someone that could make the appointment. I asked why they did not try to contact me after their 1st call. They said that once they make that call, their obligation to contact me ended. What a great example of bad customer service. If I treated my customers like this, I wouldn't have any customers.

As wonderful an experience as a hospital can be. The doctors were fabulous, experienced and very skilled. The nursing staff was excellent. I felt very well taken care of.

The check in at the lobby was relatively quick. The lab was very ready for my blood draw. But the price was ridiculous !!$633 for a blood test ! I can't imagine what patients without insurance would do....Scary

In the past 1.5 years, I've had 3 surgeries requiring PT. The AVH PT Department is awesome, from Eileen who checks me in to my therapist Mathew Michaels. Mathew is instrumental to my recovery.
