Awesome building and people! Great facility to take the family, grab a snack or simply play or watch a game of hockey. Nearby fields for sport are totally a plus and in the winter, the slopes are a fantastic spot of the family to slide into the fun winter games.

Ridiculous price 80 USD for me and two kids to go to pool and rock wall because there was a skating event rude life guard made my little girl cry because she had a floatation device on which she went with it several times already they claimed it would scratch the slide give me a break my local rec has same kind of slide no problem there rock climbing was cool but should give a discount if you can't go skating too I could have got my whole family in my local rec for the price of one person do better with all that money you are taking in my opinion Aspen as a whole sucks

Been coming for years. Life guards address always very kind and professional. One of the coolest rec centers around!!!We went for a birthday party on Sat the 24th 1:30-3:30. Life guards were SO RUDE!!! They tried to insist my 3 yr old son wear with swimmies (he's to big and they don't fit) our a life jacket. The yelled of our kids got our of arms reach even on the 1-2 foot baby side. We had 2 parents and 2 kids and felt completely safe, but it felt like they were on the prowl to wreck the party. Like I said at the beginning, we come all the time sometimes even once a week. Is consider us safe, together parents (I'm even a teacher and a lifeguard myself) but you'd think we were completely absentee with the way we were treating us.Once some other families showed up they were able to split their attention and we did end up having a GREAT TIME!!!! Can't wait to go back.

Reid had a blast in the pool (the water was so warm!) And the rock wall was great, my 6 year old was able to do it and get to the top and ring the bell!

For the cost, I was a bit disappointed; the showers in the locker rooms don't even have a curtain for just a bit of privacy while showering before and after entering the pool/spa/sauna. Seems that for $120 a month, the city could install some curtains. Also, private changing rooms. Worse yet, the showers only have some cheap soap and not even some shampoo. It's quite sad to see this.

When the temperature dropped too low to ski, we made alternative arrangements. The Aspen rec centre was perfect. Between the indoor water park and climbing wall, we were there for nearly three hours and the kids loved it. It is a little pricey, so be aware of that.

What Fun place to visit with or without kids. It's close to town. There's a beautiful park right next to it to spend the day at. Parking has some shade and some sun. The views are awesome. Highly recommend bug spray and sun screen in June. I'm not sure about other months. In general we had a lot of fun and would recommend.

Tiny weight room and cardio room. If you re looking for a gym to lift and run at, find somewhere else. Great for families, ice rink and pool is great, but frustrating to get here and have 10 people in a 200 square foot weight room

I went here for my first time. I am an Aspen resident. I did not have my driver's license, so I wasn't allowed to pay the lower rate. I did have my passport on me for identification. I asked if I could prove residency some other way, which I could from my phone - the same information one would need to prove residency for a driver's license. The employee condescendingly and sarcastically gave me the director's number saying "You can ask if they will make an exception just for you." Meanwhile, while I am standing there, the same employee allows a patron entry who she informed that their membership card was expired. Appears an exception was made there.

Used to be my favorite! Now with a price hike to 28.00 usd I am likely to go for the real deal. Otherwise a great place to entertain the wild children of aspen! I hope they change the hours on Sunday s back to 9pm. 6pm really who can make it! Revamp your new policy s.

This is such a fun place for the whole family! The highlight of our visit was actually The Pantry and we enjoyed some delicious treats with our 6 year old son. The lady working at The Pantry was so incredibly kind to us and the service and food are wonderful!

A truly great Center accessible to all. Plenty of attractions for children and adults at an affordable price. The perfect park for a break between skiing.

Great place for lap swimming, good parking, clean pool, close to slopes, nice locker room. Also a full size ice hockey rink, hot tub and slide with a lounge area and snack bar.

Nice pool, ice skating rink, and gym. The workout area seems hidden away in the basement though. They also could have built an indoor multi purpose gym for indoor sports. They have nice outdoor fields though.

Nestled amongst pristine fields filled with future Olympian talent this modest recreation center is one of several in the area and offers a family oriented experience with indoor ice, a lazy river with 2 pools one for swimming the kids and one for laps as well as a hot tub and rock climbing for the littlest ones in the family. It's clean and conveniently located.
