Great service! Really friendly shop. They got my very old, and very large RV starting issue worked out. It was a simple fix I just couldn t figure out on my own and they got it done fast. Fantastic service! We were in the Denver area for a job, and a hose came off of the engine of our RV. We called numerous mechanics in the area, and Double D was the only place who offered to help us out the same day and get us back on the road. It took them 5 minutes to fix our hose. We are so grateful for them and for the service they provided. Great people!

FAMILY OWNED, HONEST & THEY CAN TROUBLESHOOT ANY PROBLEM! This place is brilliant, I am a jeep enthusiast and manage to find ways to bend, stretch, and uncover ways to mess up my vehicle. Double D, no matter how difficult, is always able to come up with solution. I have had so many shops stumped over the years with some of the mishaps that I come up with but Double D is always up for the challenge and they fix it right! Honestly, these guys are fantastic and don't bother using any other shop in Arvada because I have most likely used them! This is the shop for you if you care about your vehicle. I paid this shop to check and find a brake fluid leak. Their response when told the fluid leaked out..."That just happens sometimes". Really?! They had our RV for a good 5 days and never found the leak. I found it in under 15 minutes and it was exactly where I told them I thought it was.I paid to have a trip check done and have the zerks greased as we were heading across the country in just a few days. Neither of these things were done. When we opened it up we found that the distributor had shredded itself, the air filter looked like a squirrel died in it, and 2 of the 6 tires were only at 50% of recommended psi.I was charged to fix a vacuum leak that I found and fixed myself within 4 minutes since they weren't able to find it at all.Only 1 of the services requested was completed.I have a broken shoulder so I needed a shop to do the work.Our vehicle was NOT safe to drive a mile away and they let us take it knowing we were headed thousands of miles away.I would NOT recommend them for anything, I feel they are incompetent and they are going to get somebody hurt. I don't even trust them to bring it back to them to make things right.

I was referred to this place by another well-known mechanic shop with good reviews. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn t know much about this shop or knew anyone there. Then after I called and asked for an evaluation of my mechanical concern along with potential cost and service since I was a new customer....I was 'pretty impressed' and satisfied with their knowledge, pricing, timeframe and friendly professionalism for what I needed repaired/replaced. Very good customer service and charismatic character. It was nice to meet the owner/manager as he made sure I was taken care of and help with my mechanical issue. I will be returning again for any future mechanical needs...Thx again!

The staff at Double D took our 32 foot Jayco class C in on short notice and had the brakes done and back to us same day.Pretty awesome service considering 9 other shops in Denver couldn t even take us in due to the size of our rig.5/5 will use their services again should I need them!

Took care of us even though it took a while. But parts had to be ordered and we are greatful because we're from So. California. But they were recommended! Appt was schedule 2 weeks ago. They do good work that's why they are so busy!

I highly highly recommend this company! I needed my transmission replaced and ordered one from a company they work with. The transmission sent was determined defective after they installed it and i had to wait a whole other month for a new transmission. When the new transmission came in, they installed it quickly and let me pick it up even though the transmission place did not pay them immediatly and it helped me more than they know. The compassion they had for my situation was unheard of in this day and age and it was so very much appreciated.Thank you Double D!Service: Transmission replacement

Double D was fantastic to work with and friendly as could be. Installed a 4 inch lift and new suspension on my 2021 GMC Sierra, did it very fast and charged a super reasonable rate. My kids lost their brakes in their 1998 Georgie Boy coming down the mountain from Estes Park, texted me to help them find a place to get towed to. (no internet connection) I called around and was recommended to call Double D in Arvada....what a blessing. Brent was amazing on the phone, informed me the kids could plug in for the night there and would help them in the morning. They had their mechanic on it that morning, AMAZING service and people.This is the place to go for honest "Do the job right" and treated with respect. Honestly the best people all around !!!!!!!!The motor blew on my sunseeker on a trip from Tennessee to Colorado last October . They are the most helpful , professional, nice , and consistent repair shop I ve ever worked with ! They continuously stayed in touch and made me aware of any changes . I wouldn t take my family s vehicles anywhere else! They are Trustworthy, incredibly reliable and dependable! I have been going to this shop for 10 yrs! Very lovely and trustable people. They re always kind and have helped me a lot with my jeep. When I was having to spend all kinds of money, Double D s ended up being both the cheapest and most reliable. Because of the fact that I had a lot of problems with my jeep and had to spend so much money on it, the owner gave me a few cheaper and even free services. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who doesn t have great knowledge with cars and is worried about getting ripped off. I m not the brightest when it comes to car problems and they ve always been happy to help me and even educate me :)

Good shops are hard to find and these guys are by far the best shop I've dealt with. They installed a Ravelco anti-theft device and found some wiring repair that needed to be done, showed me exactly what they were going to fix, were upfront about the time and cost it would take to repair it and did good work. I brought by RV in for an oil change on appointment and they got halfway through the job before they realized they were out of 10W-30. I asked the tech working on my RV if that meant they didn't have enough oil to complete the job and he STRAIGHT UP LIED to my FACE and said "oh no that's just for shop stock, we have enough available to do your RV" and I sat another hour waiting around before I asked when they would be done and the owner came clean and said "they had to get more oil to finish the job". Strike One. Next, I asked them to give the RV a one-over to see what it needed. The owner did the estimates and said it needed a few things, new brakes being top priority. He said they were almost bare. I said ok they have been squeaking a bit the last couple of days and he said it needed new pads, rotors AND calipers for the price of $1700. I asked if he was sure about that and he said "yep, we warranty our work so yadda yadda we'd have to replace everything to be sure." Strike Two, if my rotors are smooth and no cracks, chips or pits they don't need replacement. I told him my brakes felt fine otherwise and if he would just do the pads. He said nope, needs the whole shebang. Was very adamant about it. Moved on to the next items, the shocks. Said they really looked bad (semi-true) and it would again be a LOT of $$ to replace them with the most expensive parts available. I told him I can get parts (rockauto.com) for much less and if he would do the labor if I provide the parts, even if I asked for their warranty to be null. Again, refused, even though they were the exact same new parts. I decided to call around about the brakes. Found "Federal Tire and Wheel" off 37th and Federal and they quoted me $120 flat to replace the pads so long as the rotors were good and the calipers worked well. Took it in to Federal T&W and $120 later my brakes are feeling as good as ever. Never going back to Double D for such services again.Service: Oil change

To make a long story short, I don t think they are familiar with Volkswagens. I took it in to have the starter replaced. They did fix that problem but I left with multiple problems I didn t have in the first place, and of course, they didn t take responsibility for any of them and I m in a worse position than I started with. I should have never taken the car when I got in and realized there were problems that weren t there in the first place. I recommend making sure there are no new problems before you take your car home. My gut told me to leave it but they had wasted so much of my time the multiple times I went to pick it up and it wasn t ready, that I took the car because I needed it for work. Not a good experience in any aspect.

Double D is a top-notch auto repair shop with great mechanics that treat you with courtesy and your car as though it were their own. They rebuilt the engine on my '56 T-bird and made numerous improvements throughout the vehicle that have transformed it into a trustworthy cruiser. Brent and his crew are honest and take the time to shop parts to try and get you the best price possible. They go above and beyond to make sure their customers are satisfied!
