Colorado Engine has been great! George and Terry were very helpful in getting a crate engine on order for me for a restore I am working on. Great price, warranty, and good delivery estimate. I will post a follow up once I get the engine. So far A++!

This shop was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were able to offer me a loaner vehicle with no hassle. Not only were they able to lower the price after ordering parts from the dealership, but they waived the rental fee until I could pick up my car. Rigs and Tony were so kind and friendly. I am so thankful to everybody who worked on my vehicle. You guys are the prayer my angels answered that day!

Though I had to wait a while, Colorado Engine ordered and installed a rebuilt V-6 engine for my 2006 Ford Pick Up. It runs smooth, has great response to urgings for speed, and the mechanics followed up with an oil change and inspection after the first 1,000 miles. The service officers are friendly and the mechanical work they do is top-notch. If you need a new engine or any other auto repair, Colorado Engine is your first call!

After three years and 10,000+ dollars and roughly 25+ visits I have come to a conclusion that this company is highly worth avoiding. The repairs they do don t last 5000 miles max. They always blame the parts. I can understand that but when parts fail that should last 100,000 miles and I m paying for it to be done twice it certainly seems like this company doesn t care about the customers. Thinking I had found a good place to bring my truck but I was sadly mistaken. They could care less about your business so take it to someone so does. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COLORADO ENGINE. I will be reporting to bbb aswell!

I own a 1968 Chevy C10 with a Chevy 350 in it which needed to be rebuilt or replaced. I live up north in Windsor however found Colorado Engine and spoke with Terry and decided to stop by one afternoon to chat about the possibility of a new engine. Terry said right up front that they no longer do older vehicles however after showing him a few pictures and giving him the story about the truck he said that he would love to be part of this project.Terry gave me a list of what the project would involve and we worked together to acquire the necessary parts to complete the truck.Take a look at the before and after pictures of my truck!Thank you Terry for your help with my truck, I could be more happy about the results!DavidService: Engine repair

I brought my car to Co Engine after blowing my engine due to a tune up gone wrong (my fault!) I waited to review this business to allow time (9 months) and miles on the used engine to see if it was a lemon. Somewhat concerned with a used harvested engine. But, just completed trip to east coast. Engine was driven 48 hours straight for 3,000 miles. No problems. Engine runs extremely well. Strong and smooth. Valvetrain is clean. Bottom end appeared new. Ran diagnostics after engine was installed. These guys have a good source for used engines and know how to install them.

Let me start by saying, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! I took my Ford Edge into Ford as there was fluid leaking from the engine. Found out the water pump was failing. Due to the year and model of my car, the water pump was time chain driven....UGH!!! Which made the job HUGE and EXPENSIVE! I called several places looking for a better deal than what Ford had to offer. I came across Colorado Engine. Everything was PERFECT from the time I called for the quote, to getting on the schedule, car drop off, and car pick up. They were booked out for a few weeks due to the job being so big but it was worth the wait and the money it saved me. They are now my new mechanics which means a lot considering I have been in search for one since my old mechanic retired 4+ years ago. Thank you so Colorado Engine, Ill be seeing you in a few months for my oil change :)Service: Engine repair

I've been going to Colorado Engine for years. I ran across reviews for the shop years ago when I was looking for somewhere skilled, honest, and way less expensive than the dealership. This is the jackpot! Terry and Tony have always taken excellent care of our cars, been super honest, and are way cheaper than other places I've checked. Even after we moved much farther north, we still take our cars here. This place is the best!

Came in for a quote on service based on reccomendations from Malaise Motors Facebook group. George and Terry were great at instilling confidence in their ability to do the work needed on my car. Great customer service, I will update this review after the service is done and let the work reflect my rating. So far so good.

My trucking experience here has been wonderful. The engine needed to be changed, but it was completed weeks earlier than anticipated, and it is now functioning flawlessly. I thought it needed a little tweaking, but they quickly got me in and took care of it. They are friendly and professional. I have a 2008 Toyota 4runner that needed a new engine. After much research I found Colorado Engine and decided to make the investment to put a new engine in the vehicle. They did a great job and the pricing was absolutely fair because I did check around a lot. It totally was worth the drive from Castle Rock. I would highly recommend Colorado Engine for anyone in need of a engine either used or rebuilt. I happened to get a rebuilt engine because it came with a 4 year warranty. I mostly worked with Rigs and Tony also talked with Terry and everyone there was very helpful and answered all my concerns and questions. I would definitely use them again if needed in the future.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

Colorado Engine installed a new engine in my 2005 F-150. Outstanding job! The work was completed on time, at a very reasonable price and Tony / Terry were great to work with. These folks put a new engine in my 88 Bronco 2, and they did great work. So much can go wrong in a job like that, yet they seem to have nailed all the details. Just had my 500 mile checkup clean and clear all the way.I would recommend not being in a rush when you have work done at this shop. I say this because both times I ve had work done, it took twice as long as they estimated to complete the job. The engine swap took two months instead of one, and my 500 mile checkup/oil change took two hours instead of one. Doesn t affect my recommendation, though, since what s vastly more important is that the job gets done right, and these folks get the job done right.So I fully recommend them, with that word to the wise be sure to schedule yourself accordingly and you ll have a good experience here.

As soon as I walk in shop I get greeted with a big smile while I was dropping off a vehicle seems like they been around for a very long time for a reason I would definitely take my vehicles here for service .

I have used Colorado Engine for 20 ish years. I love the staff/mechanics. They have always been very helpful and been honest with me about the state of my vehicles. They have always given me a good deal for the work they do. They are easy to work with and super kind people!

What a great experience! Colorado engine worked with me through several hurdles. I ve only had my truck back for a few days, but it s running better than when I first got it. They were honest, transparent and kind throughout the entire process. I couldn t be happier with the work nor the customer service. I ll recommend them every time!

I have had a great experience with bringing my truck here. The engine had to be replaced and they got it done weeks sooner than originally expected and it's running amazing. I felt it needed a little tweaking and they got me in right away and took care of it no problem. They are professional and courteous. I HAVE A 1993 F150 XLT 4X4. I KNEW THE TIME WAS COMING TO REPLACE THE 5.8 ENGINE. WE WORKED OUT A DEAL, AND I HAD MY TRUCK TOWED TO THEIR FACILITY ON W56th AVE. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE AND I THOUGHT THE SHOP WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. I PAID THE DEPOSIT FOR THE NEW CRATE ENGINE , AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ABOUT 3 WEEKS TO RECEIVE THE MOTOR. THE TIMME FRAME WAS JUST AS THEY SAID. UPON STARTING MY PROJECT I MET WITH THEM IN THEIR SHOP AND WE DISCUSSED ALL MY CONCERNS. THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS, THE COMMUNICATION WAS VERY GOOD, AND I COULD NOT OF BEEN MORE HAPPY WITH THEIR COMMUNICATION TO ME. I DELT WITH TERRY & TONY, AND THERE PROFESSIONALISM WAS OFF THE CHARTS. BOTH REALLY GOOD GUYS. I DO NOT FEEL LIKE MY JOB WAS THE AVERAGE RUN OF THE MILL ENGINE SWAP. I WANTED DETAIL, AND WAS WILLING TO PAY FOR IT. NATE WAS MY MECHANIC, AND I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT HIM. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. AFTER ALL THE BS COMPANIES I HAVE DELT WITH AROUND THE DENVER AREA, LET ME TELL YOU HOW REFRESHING IT WAS TO DEAL WITH A SHOP THAT NOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND REALLY CARES. MY TEUCK IS MY BABY , AND I KNOW THEY REALISED THAT FROM OUR CONVERSATIONS. MY JOB COST WAS NOT CHEAP BUT I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. I WILL USE THIS SHOP FROM NOW ON , AND WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME WITH ANY OTHER SHOP IN TOWN!!! I WILL INCLUDE SOME PICTURES, AND YOU CAN COME TO YOUR OWN DECISION ON THE JOB THEY PERFORMED FOR ME. HIGHLY HIGHLY THINK YOU SHOULD PUT YOUR FAITH IN COLORADO ENGINE AS WELL.THANKS, RANDY LITTLETON, CO.

They did good work, but cost was $500 above estimate, and I was charged for parts that didn't need to be replaced.(motor mount that a ford dealer service manager said wasn't worn out) I was also charged for seals/gaskets that were replaced when the car was brought back under their warranty to be fixed.

Great experience so far, it's still a little early as our, 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 4.0L 4wd, is having a remafactured engine installed.Will update when finished3-13-23 Just had the 500 mile checkup and oil change. Everything great. Good service still a happy customer!
