Originally had a problem with them. But they were incredibly quick to contact me, and even offered to drop off a new part to me on a weekend since I am local. Nathan is top tier and more than willing to help.

Great company! Bought a stage 3 replacement turbo for Cummins 6.7 diesel directly from the company and received super quick delivery from Colorado to North Carolina. Would highly recommend. Truck runs better than ever! The install was very difficult though. Set aside a couple days if doing this yourself.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

I purchased the VFR stage 2 turbo for 2013-18 ram along with a transmission deep pan and tow pilot. Everything well packaged and the installation was a breeze with a long weekend and a few drinks.I had to contact ATS a few times to get a few details straight on the tow pilot.. ( it does not mix well with aftermarket trans tuning). The gentleman on the phone were super helpful with taking care of my questions and concerns

We have installed a few of the ATS Aurora 3000 stage 1 turbos- on both Ford and Dodge trucks here at the shop. We could not be more pleased with the customer service, fast shipping and of course the turbo performance. It's nice to get a solid performance upgrade w/ oem tuning - HUGE difference in power & turbo responsiveness. Thank you to ATS- from Pickies Garage Inc- Fruita Colorado

Well at this point I have only spoke with Matt and someone who I did not get there name. The most important thing is this is a local company in the around the towns I grew up in I still live in the state. And this is the most important thing to me. So far there knowledge is unequal in comparison with many I talk to. I am a astme certified mechanic from many years ago retired but it never leaves you. I run a small cattle ranch now and must rely on this truck for towing heavy as well as having fun and daily driving. I do all the work on my own vehicles. Most time I need no help but it always helps when dealing with something you do not have experience with. And that's were this company shines they have exp with alli levels of there products. Which means allot. I will write a complete review when I have completed my bessiness with them in the next month or so. Thank you all for being here ready to help. Lonnie lmranch one of our hauled load we try to keep them as light as possible this one was at about 28k a bit heavy but had no issues. When we pull a cattle hauler the weights can get twice this in short order only difference it's a live load.

So its been about two months now that I installed my new transmission (68RFE for a 2018 Ram 3500 4X4) . I have a large Lance truck camper and I tow a 22 ft boat. I definitely feel the difference. The shift from gear to gear is much more crisp and solid. The engagment is immediate. The trans temp stays much cooler than with the stock trans. I also installed the thermal bypass valve. and an ATS billet flex plate.I also have to say that the entire staff at ATS treated me as though I were an important, long time customer. Very professional. I would say I got exactly what they promised.Service: Transmission

ATS has been nothing but stellar to work with! My truck was down for 10 months thanks to GM making poor quality parts which they then stopped manufacturing after the immense amount of defects and failures. My truck is a 2013 GMC 2500 with 50,000 miles on it and it became a giant paperweight without ATS coming to the rescue. Their TCM upgrade kit is unbelievable. My truck gets better gas mileage, drives smoother, and is all around a new truck with this kit! Nathan, and Mackenzie were great help throughout the whole process with installation questions, warranty questions, etc. They even made a new update that works even better now and shipped me a updated part free of charge! Can't recommend them enough, they have a customer for life!

Ats diesel threw away my turbo when I sent it in for warranty/ repair without warning. They sent me a core from another customer claiming it would be similarly damaged as mine and it was not. Do not buy from ATS poor customer service. Tried to repair my turbo and they were going to charge me as much as my original purchase price.

I purchased a flexplate, torque converter, and deep pan for my cummins/48re from ATS. I ended up having some issues trying to place my order, dealt with Matt in their customer service. Great help. Super quick to get back to me, was even texting me throughout the day asking me different questions to help me solve the issues. Parts arrived quickly, good packaging. Parts definitely seemed to be high quality as soon as I had them in my hands. I got everything installed, went together properly with no fitment issues, and no performance/drive-ability issues either. Awesome company with great products and great customer service! I will definitely be purchasing more from them in the future, as well as recommending them to others!

Bought a stage 1 68rfe to replace my factory transmission in my 2012 Ram. I researched what I thought were the premiere transmission builders for towing. So I decided on ATS stage 1 with their CoPilot. I run a 2500 4x4 . I have traveled about 900,000 miles around the 50 states all towing something. I love traveling. And a good transmission make it's better.I called and placed my order giving ATS exactly what has been done to my truck. And also I'm upgrading from stock because I do tow 90% of the time. Another fact is I consider this as preventive maintenance. Yes I'm replacing a working transmission. The day comes and the transmission arrives at my preferred shop for installation. Everything bolts up and it's ready to go.As I'm leaving the shop, the check engine light comes on in the parking lot. No problem things happen I said. Long story short , after 10K miles and several issues I agreed with ATS to bring my truck to them. I live in Texas. They are in Colorado. 2000 miles and 2 airplane tickets, plus having to get my wife to drive 2 hrs to airport (twice). With all this said, I would recommend Matt at ATS and all who was involved. I received good service in a bad situation. They were considerate of my concern and produced what they promised. I also received more from them than expected. I had an electrical issue that they worked through and fixed. Thanks ATS for a fine product and service after the sale.Tom CookTyler TxService: Transmission

While traveling thru the Denver area I had an issue with my Ram truck the local dealerships would help me so I called ATS and they said come in and we will check it out. Not only did they fix it and also installed their transmission thermostat coupler on in less than 2 hours. What a great bunch of people. My appreciation is overwhelming. Thank you so much love this place.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

I use ATS Diesel performance pans in all my performance Mopar Diesel builds. Very good quality for the price. Packaged well and customers love them. Here is a 47RE,47RH and 48RE with ATS pans. Thanks for the great products!

Wanted to wait a few weeks after installation to review. One word: intimidating.Installed an ATS Diesel 48RE Stage 2 transmission in my 06 Cummins. Shifting into 2nd and 3rd gear is powerful with no hesitation and the rest is smooth as butter.10/10 awesomeThe team at ATS was great, super fast turnaround, I would definitely recommend for anyone who is serious about their truck.

Absolute junk I am on transmission number four from this company, the original stock transmission lasted about 180,000 miles the garbage they sent me usually last between eight and 10,000. When I send them the information on warranty straight from Dodge their warranty guy, Jeff says he knows more about dodge transmissions than the people who actually build dodge transmissions. And continually tells me I must be abusing the unit I drive no different now than I did with the stock transmission. Their failures are usually electronic in the valve body, so how do you abuse electronics? and when I told them I wanted reimbursed for the install of the third transmission. I submitted all the documents three times and of course even though I have documented proof via emails they say they never received any of it so of course they never paid their bill. I am now demanding a full refund from them, I will not hold my breath. My guess litigation will follow.

The general products and warranty seem good, but the install work that was done under my vehicle was the worst I ve experienced from a shop. 1 star due to that. Here is the long story...I picked up my vehicle after the job was initially complete. After 13 miles the check engine light came on. I let them know. I scanned the DTCs and it was various transmission and torque converter (TC) codes. Brought it back some days later and they indicated the TC seal had failed and they d need to take out trans again to fix. After a number of additional weeks the job was done a second time, and I went to the shop to pick it up. Drove it home with no CEL coming on a win! But then after starting to inspect further I discovered lots of bad things.1. The two breather tubes were just laying on the passenger frame rail with fluid leaking out onto the frame rail.2. One of the two starter bolts was just hanging in the hole but was not even threaded in. The other starter bolt was torqued far too much luckily the aluminum threads on the starter were not stripped.3. The dipstick tube was not mounted/bolted properly at either the transmission or the bellhousing.4. I had a new ATS deep pan included (they are very nice), but there was interference because the ATS pan is lower than stock pan. Instead of letting me know and just reverting back to the stock pan, the installer installed it anyway. Not good.5. Fluid was leaking from the trans pan gasket.6. Fluid was leaking out of the unit between transmission and transfer case . There was evidence that the installer likely took the unit apart at a joint that should not have been removed, and then reinstalled without the proper sealant.7. The inspection cover over the flex plate was missing a bolt.8. 3 of the 4 torque converter to flex/drive plate bolts were loose. I could turn them with my fingers. After I tightened these it fixed a vibration I had started to feel. Luckily I discovered this before going on a longer trip.9. Multiple bolts weren t the ones that were in place previously ie, guess they lost the correct ones and just used some other old bolts they had on hand.Thankfully this isn t my daily driver or I would have needed a rental car for a few months. I exchanged multiple emails with the owner. After the initial TC seal issue was fixed and I discovered all these other problems in the following months, he did want to have the vehicle brought in again, but at that point I had decided I would resolve all these things myself. The guys at the shop were pleasant enough, but I was surprised that there didn t seem to be any major apologies for anything I was reporting. The owner often times didn t respond to my emails until I sent a second time. The installation labor that was assigned to work on my vehicle was incompetent and caused me major headaches. If something else goes wrong in the remaining years of warranty, I likely wouldn't go back. The guys who do the transmission work are hopefully competent, but the labor for the transmission to come out of the vehicle and then go back in was not, and should never have touched my vehicle. I m sure everyone s experience will vary depending on which of their guys is working on their vehicle. Unfortunately, you do not know who they will assign to your rig.

Where do I start I have a 2013 ram equipped with a 68rfe transmission, all stock minus a small tow tune. Bought the truck used in 2019 and 3 months after purchasing the transmission left the chat. I did plenty of research about what the best transmission builder was. ATS seemed like a good fit, upon the research I did it seems like they had a bad reputation for their 47/48re work but really fixed things when it came to a 68rfe. Being local to Denver Colorado, and with the warranty they offered it really seemed like the way to go. Boy was I wrong. I had the initial stage 3 800 horsepower rated transmission built and installed in January of 2021. Not even a month after I was throwing codes for 5th and 6th gear incorrect ratios. Limped the truck back to ATS and they determined it was a bad file on their copilot transmission controller. They reflashed it right then and there and had me take it on a long test drive, everything was working fine and properly after that. January of 2022 I lost 5th gear in the truck. I purchased the additional 3 year parts/1 year labor warranty with the transmission. I contacted ATS letting them know about my issue, they told me I was just out of the labor warranty but since I m having issues this early on they would be glad to cover my labor cost. That was not the case. I took my truck back to them and it was there for another 3 weeks, upon picking it up ATS informed me that the overdrive clutches were burnt out, and they put a new redesigned valve body as well as a new pump in the transmission. Still charged me over $1000 for labor even though they said they would cover it since I was just out of warranty. Not to mention nobody had any clue where my truck was at progress wise with the first or second rebuild. Fast forward to December 2022, torque converter is stuck locked up no matter what gear it s in. I decided to take matters into my own hands instead of going back to the circus called ATS. Replaced the converter with a quality well built and designed revmax converter. Turned out not the be the converter but the pump itself. ATS uses reman pumps with a billet body plate, they do not use new pumps. Very disappointed with not only the service I have received from ATS, but also the quality of their parts and work. If you want a good transmission with people who have attention to detail and are proud of their work, I suggest revmax or Randy s transmission. ATS has lost yet another customer.6 month later edit.. hopefully people see this and realize what a joke ATS is! I emailed the sales manager, Nathan, as suggested in the reply. He was very quick with communication and we were working out possibly getting the truck back in to get my issues resolved. Then it became no replies! Sent him several more emails and still no reply. Tried calling ATS and they wouldn t even pick up the phone to me! Just greeeaaattt customer service . Ended up taking the truck to a local transmission shop, and boy did ATS screw me. The torque converter lockup issue I had was due to a bearing being installed backwards and completely wearing out. I bought and paid for the stage 3 68rfe, that includes a billet input and a billet overdrive drum both these parts are clearly on my invoice and they took my money for them but the didn t install them! Paid extra for the stage 3 when they built and installed a stage 1 in my truck paid extra for the 3 year warranty and they wouldn t honor it. STAY AWAY FROM ATS! Complete waste of money.Service: Transmission

Absolutely love my ATS transmission. I'm on my 2nd ATS transmission the last one lasted me 10 years. When it went out I had a local shop rebuild it because I was in a pinch. It only lasted for 8 months. So I went back in with another ATS. In all the time I had my first ATS I had one issue after about 3 years and ATS was quick to get it resolved. They stand behind there warranty.Service: Transmission

I'm giving the review 3 stars because the technicians do a great job if Matt could communicate honestly and thoroughly (or the hope that he just goes away). Matt is probably the worst service sales guy we've encountered in this industry. Every time we bring in our truck and we're stuck with him, he forgets to put half of the requests on the order and tries to upsell us on things we don't need. The last time we had to use him, he offered us $1.00 as compensation since we had to take time out of our days to keep bringing it back. It's just gotten ridiculous. We'll continue using ATS, but if Matt is there - we'll run.Services: Transmission, Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

I placed an order for a transmission package in December of 2020, as of September 2021 I have yet to receive a functional product. I placed the order, and three months went by with no contact. I sent an email and was assured my order was processed. In April I still had not received a transmission, so I called my salesman who informed me that my order had been cancelled due to "no contact" despite them not calling me or emailing me. They then rushed my order, and it arrived in May. I drove with this new transmission for roughly 200 miles and the torque converter started slipping and throwing codes. I was unimpressed for a company that advertises itself as offering strong transmissions and components. My shop sent the transmission back in early June, and still a transmission has not been shipped out to replace the faulty one they initially sent. For the last month they have been assuring us that "a new transmission will be shipped next week" and it has yet to happen. They offer no refunds, they are very difficult to contact, and I have been unimpressed with the quality. I was excited to use their product, but after 9 months I just want my Jeep to be drivable again, but you are entirely at the mercy of this company.Service: Transmission

Purchased a stage 3 68rfe for my 15 ram. Was told it would not take long yo receive, took several months for the shop to recieve it. Worked great for a few months then lost 5th and 6th gear. Shop that installed it tried contacting numerous times for warranty claim. ignored for two to three months. Then when they finally responded was told it would be two months minimum before transmission would come back from ats. Disappointed in how this was handled. Wish I could get my money back.Service: Transmission

I got a ats stage 4 for my 2000 f-250 after I had tuned and upgraded a few things on the truck and burnt up what was left of the stock trans the ats is very responsive to every thing I have put its way it shrugs off it runs cooler shifts better and now I don't worry about being stranded anymore fron the because of the transmission. They where very quick with the turn around time on installing the transmission for me as it is my daily took only 4 days for them to install the transmission and wire in the the ats transmission controller witch I love. I highly recommend this company and you can't beat mad in America. I've put close to 50 thousand miles on the transmission in a year and haven't had single issues with I highly recommend ats diesel for transmission needs and concernsService: Transmission

First class shop and team, I've taken my truck here several times and everything is always dialed in when I get it back. The customer service is excellent and they called me with updates while my truck was there. They take the time to check over things and always do the job right the first time. The staff is friendly and will always answer your questions about parts and explain things thoroughly. I will always take my truck here and recommend others to do so. If your hesitant to take your truck here or buy the products don't be... ATS will take care of you and the craftsmanship in the products is top notch. Highly satisfied customer!!
