I've been going to Arvada Auto Center for over 20 years, and stayed with them through the transition to the new owner, Zach, several years ago. It was and continues to be an easy, pleasant experience. Always. And I can't tell you the amount of times I brought my car in with an issue I was concerned with that ended up being nothing--or an easy, very minor fix that they just did as a courtesy for me.I love that Zach almost always answers the phone personally, absolutely never rushes talking about my car's issues, and never talks down to me because talks down to me because I'm a woman. And he and always has a smile and a laugh when doing business.I recommend Arvada Auto Center highly and frequently, and I always will!

Since moving to Colorado, I have had issues with dealership mechanics giving me a list of "needed" or "urgent" repairs that cost thousands of dollars. Most of these repairs are due to the mileage range of my Jeep, and do not relate to mechanical issues that truly need fixing.I have been searching for a good and honest mechanic for a few months now, and I saw great reviews for the Arvada team. I decided to give it a shot and booked an appointment for general maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) and to look into an odd noise that my Jeep was making while driving. The team quickly identified the issue, and Zack walked me through all the questions I had and gave me his honest opinion.Overall, Zack and team were very friendly, considerate, and honest when it came to the suggested repairs. I felt comfortable with the services provided and feel like I can trust the Arvada team. I will be coming back again for future service needs on my Jeep, and I am hopeful that I finally found a great mechanic. Thank you, Zack and team!

As a Jeep owner, I've been there enough times that it's time to leave a review. The staff is super friendly and Zach and Cameron always take good care of me. They are a really honest staff (which is hard to find these days) and they will tell you what critical repairs need to be made, and what can wait. Of course with inflation labor costs are rising, but they always try to get me the best deal. Highly recommend. Since I own a Jeep, I'm sure I'll be back there many more times...

I had my car towed here after it broke down, Zack and Cameron were so nice from the moment I dropped it off. Turns out I needed a completely new engine, and instead of pushing me to spend the money with them they recommended I put that money towards a new car. They were super knowledgable about the car brand I have having a lot of issues, and they gave me recommendations of places that might buy my car for parts. They have our business going forward!

My first couple of interactions with Arvada Auto Center have been great! I brought my new to me 2002 Toyota Sequoia in for a check engine light and to have the timing belt and associated parts replaced. They quickly diagnosed and fixed the cause of the CEL then moved on to the timing belt, while doing the timing belt repair they had great attention to detail and found other items they recommended servicing while doing the timing belt. This could seem like an attempt at overselling but they explained exactly what the recommendations were and why they should be taken care of now, I fully trust them and would've been more disappointed if they hadn't made the additional service recommendations and I had a problem down the road.I recently had my battery die after sitting for a few days, I found and they agreed the likely cause was a loose connection that could not be tightened. Zack replaced the cable end on the spot and charged very little for doing so ($12 parts and labor).I only have had my vehicle in a couple of times but so far everything has been great. They are great communicators, pricing is competitive and the quality of work has been good.

Avoid this shop at all costs. I took my car in to get some work done about a month ago. When I returned and told a friend who is more knowledgeable about cars exactly what work they did, and what they charged (close to a grand for patching a couple leaks and fixing the spark plugs) I immediately walked away with this sense that, okay, maybe I got ripped off, but at least my car is in good working order. At the point of purchase, I was charged an additional 130 dollars in labor, after expressing that we had reached about the highest price point that was manageable for me at that juncture.After a few weeks of standard commuting as a driver, I was in the parking lot of a grocery store, when the wheel came plain off the axel.I am now very upset, as this was relating to a noise made in the front of the vehicle, which I asked about, but the shop failed to address.So after "fully diagnosing" my vehicle, and further overcharging me for minor repairs, these guys let me drive around for a month with a deteriorating axel that they failed to diagnose or mention. Not only did I already overpay these guys, forking over money I now need to make this repair and don't have, I am presently staring at a Honda Accord sitting on 3 wheels, not 4 weeks after these guys ripped me off.Go a block or two south east and go through one of the small, locally owned mechanics off Lamar. This place is an absolute joke, and I will never bring a vehicle here again, and will encourage my friends to do the same.Additionally, while this shop replied to this comment to make themselves look good to anybody who may be browsing these reviews, they never ACTUALLY reached out to me via call or email or anything like that to try and make this right. The response received to this email was not actually the shop reaching out to put the customer first, it was the shop covering their own a** by making it look like these steps were being taken.

This place is fantastic! I was traveling from out of state and had a tire that was leaking air. I was a walk-in first thing in the morning, and though it was a very busy place they took me right in and had me back on the road within a half an hour. Extremely reasonable charge and just absolute professionals. I was amazed that they could help me out with how busy they were. They clearly run a great business and are very popular in the area. Would highly recommend!

I've been going to Zack and Arvada Auto since 2018. They are a wonderful automotive shop. They over communicate, serve you well, and are honest about situations that can occur!

Yooooo DA BEST- i've never left that place without a big smile on my face - like what else can i say- when you need a mechanic team you can trust to be honest with you and take care of your needs - these guys ALWAYS be looking out! Zack and his team are awesome!! They really do care about the customer and do the needful for them! Which these days is hard to find in companies so I m truly grateful for them! I had a big repair done recently and I had to take the car back because something wasn t right still. Zack and his team checked it out and made it right! I truly appreciated this a lot!! I will send anyone looking for a mechanic to you guys! Keep on rocking it at Arvada Automotive!! THANK YOU!!!

I spoke with Zach for the first time today, and he knew right away over the phone what the issue was with my car. He somehow found a way to squeeze me in as he 'hated the thought of someone being without heat'. Nicest waiting area I've seen at an auto shop :) Very reasonable pricing. I'll definitely be back & look forward to supporting this business!

Thought my water pump was going out. They had me in to look at it within one hour of calling them. Kind knowlegable. Camerom assured me i can drive safely , that its probably the thermostat and didnt even chargeto look at it. Have appointment in one week to get repairs and diognostics done. Great place i can already tell. Looking forward to doing buusiness with these professionals. Ok its now a week later. I cant figure out how to write a new reveiw. But they did an excellent job , honest super kind and very knowlegable. They fixed what other mechanics started. Wish i coukd leave a whole new reveiw. These guys are the absolute best and get it fixed right the first time! I will come here again and again ! No stress just integrity and intelligence. Love these guys! 5 stars all the way !

We've used Arvada Automotive for every oil change and checkup since moving to the area almost five years ago. They're always friendly and professional, provide fast, exceptional service, and never try to up-sell. Went in to get a screw pulled out of my wife's car. They took me right away, and got done quick. When I asked them how much they wanted the guy said "nothin"... I was shocked. I mean when was the last time that happened to you??? I'd give 6 stars for this if I could, that's so cool.Congrats you guys just got a customer for life.l, and I'll recommend you to everyone. I had a check engine light on, they found nothing with the light that would damage the car, but did find an issue which could have caused severe transmission damage. Great place and honest.

They are up front honest and do the work that needs to be done. They are behind, and I was warned but they still only took 2.5 days! I thought the price was incredibly reasonable and I will be making this my regular garage for any car issues!

Best shop I ve been to in years. Truly a group of mechanics you can trust.Had a very rough running engine and they squeezed me and fixed it when they had a PACKED schedule.The packed schedule makes perfect sense because everyone should want them to work on their car. They are amazing!

Zack and team are amazing. Sent my daughter and her car there fearing it was going to be a lot of work to fix an electrical issue. They called an hour later, letting us know it was a simple fuse that was overlooked. I had requested an oil change as well, and I thought they'd let me know it will be a while yet... Nope, all done within an hour... Everyone was so friendly! They even showed her which fuse it was... They definitely have a lifetime family on their books now. They will be doing all of my service work. The positive reviews on this place are on point! Don't think about it, just take your car there.

Very grateful for my experience at AAC!Had my vehicles' alternator go out this past Friday. Zach quote me a very reasonable price and order my part. He was able to get my car taken care of the day the part arrived which I was very grateful for as I was borrowing a family vehicle. He worked with my warranty company and myself to get my vehicle paid for. The experience was painless and professional. The car drove effortlessly off the lot and has had no problems. I will be back if my car needs anymore repairs! Thank you, again, for making this as easy as possible Zach!

Zach was amazing! Honest and efficient. I came in with an emergency situation with my camper van and even though they aren't really setup for such a big van he got me safe again and told me what work I needed done even though they can't do it and they didn't even charge me.We will be back for sure with our car these guys are the real deal

Before I destroyed my Subaru Outback, for lack of oil, Arvada Automotive fixed over $1,000 worth of front-end stuff and made the car much safer for me. I was extremely happy with the service and the prices of the work that was done and I immediately brought my next car to them for an inspection to make sure that I had purchased a decent vehicle. Their attention to detail is amazing and I doubt a single thing gets by these people.They are fantastic! (roommate says so too)

It's never fun to have an expensive repair needed on your car, but if I have to have work done, I would go out of my way to do it here. They are honest and transparent through every step. Normally I feel more comfortable with my car savvy husband managing communication with car shops, but I feel like I'm in such good hands here. Zack called me while the car was in the shop to let me know that there would be price changes due to some complications. He was very thorough in all his explanations and everyone at the shop is friendly and they care about their customers. They found a great price on parts for me as well. This was my first time in I was very happy with the service. I had my front breaks done. Zach took me out to look at my car and show me how to tell next time before it starts making noises and causing more damage. He got my car in and out for my trip. The process was easy and he was very honest. I definitely recommend, especially if you don t know what s wrong with your car, I would trust them to be honest.Service: Auto brake repair

Zach and the staff are a welcome addition to my preferred Arvada recommendations. Excellent communication with me. I had a difficult to analyze brake issue on my truck and Zack saw it through to the solution. He stood by his promises and made everything right by me. I could not ask for a more reliable company. They also did pretty much a long overdue complete rebuild of my front axle/steering and suspension.
