I had my fuel filters on my Diesel F-350 Super Duty truck and oil changed on 1/5 at your store in Alamosa. On Saturday, 1/6 I found a large oily spot on my driveway. I left a voicemail at your store. On Monday, 1/8 your technicians were told that the truck had a tough time starting and it was leaking. I was told it was not the oil change and that I did not know what I was talking about. I was up in Monument over the weekend and I took the truck to our Big O Tire store for service letting them know the issues we had been seeing. I have attached the invoice and diagnostic sheet for your reference.It turns out the truck was leaking FUEL from the fuel filter change on the driver side of the truck. I had to spend an additional $240 to fix your technician's issues. I have the part that had to be replaced. I gave your team the chance to fix their mistake on 1/8 and they did not find it nor take responsibility for the issues. I expect your company to reimburse me for the additional cost to fix the issue your technicians created. I sent emails with pictures of the oil on our driveway to the owner and the owner never responded. He has failed to do anything about it. In my opinion, you can tell the integrity of a company how they handle difficult situations. No action on the owner's part is telling to me.

Started having an issue that I thought was the ECM and all the places I knew could not get me in for over a month. Called the shop here and had an appointment in less than a week. Took it in the morning and got a call about an hour or so later explaining the problem. I authorized the repair and was called before noon that it was done. Great service, great people and great prices. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.

They were able to look at our car immediately. They eye very thoroughly checked it over and kept in contact with us. They were unable to recreate the problem. They offered alternatives, and were very considerate of cost. We have chosen to wait and will definitely return here if we have more trouble.

Everyone at America s tire and auto in Alamosa seems genuinely interested in a good outcome for the customer. The service and the communication is impeccable. They follow up after your repair to make sure all is well and they are responsive to any concerns.This applies to the Front office staff as well as the mechanics in the shop.Finding reliable car mechanics is often challenging but I believe I found one.

Great service.In from out of town with a flat tire and they took very good care of us. The manager was great and the repair guy put my spare tire back underneath the truck.Highly recommended

In the middle of my vacation, I experienced engine lights that are a known Jeep issue with a history of being difficult to solve. The service was great as they tried to make it as painless as possible. They did not just throw parts at the problem but took the time to diagnose the path to solving my problem. On the road again!! Thanks.

Website sucks, I'm not driving a half hr to see what kind of tires you carry. I will just assume they are garbage brands that sales people talk up once your in the store. Pressure sales.... No thanksMight wanna try and be upfront about what you carry and the price.

Went in for maintenance and was asked ahead if something needed replaced if I wanted it. Of course I did. My car needs to run at its optimum. American Auto does a bumper to bumper check. I had and always have had excellent service.

Melissa is super friendly and i enjoyed speaking to her while waiting on my car. They had availbale appointments to get my repairs done after i had a diagnostic done. Still have some things to repair on my car and i will glady return to them for the other repairs.

My brakes suddenly became unreliable. There were two options, America's Auto was closest. Everyone there was great. Kind, knowledgeable and experienced at their jobs. As I was 40 miles from home, I had also just been in hospital and in fact stranded, they moved me to the front of the line. My brakes were done in record time. A truly great experience. I highly recommend this business.

Having your car worked on is never fun. No one wants to spend more money than they have or hang out in a waiting room literally all day. But, the folks here did everything they could to make the experience less painful and we are grateful to them.Mark and Melissa were friendly, polite and compassionate during our radiator/pump ordeal. Although we had to spend more than we anticipated, never once did we harbor any frustration towards the employees here. Everyone worked very hard and kept smiles on the whole time. They even kept offering to feed us their lunch so we felt right at home the whole time.We are thankful to have a place we can trust to bring our business to. Thank you America's Auto & Tire of Alamosa!

I did not have the time in the middle of keeping a huge volume of tractors and trucks running during harvest to work on my wife's car! SO I took her car to America's Auto in Alamosa! I had already diagnosed that the fuel sensor was weeping gas! I directed the service rep to exactly where the problem was and that what I had seen using mechanic mirrors that more than likely its the fuel sensor! Tuesday 09/26! by the book 2.5 hours to remove the intake to get to the sensor! I was then informed that more than likely it was a leaking injector SO stupid me told the service rep order 4 and change them all! but still stressed pressurize the fuel system and triple check the fuel sensor just in case! I was told Friday Eve 9/29 before 5pm the car would be ready! I show up at 430 pm 9/29 and was told OMG the service rep has been fired and we are waiting to see what your car is here for! so after huge apologies I was told your car will be ready Mon 10/2 so I THEN RENTED A CAR FOR 2 FRICKEN DAYS for the weekend to pick up traveling relatives in Denver and visit showing them the sites! So at fricken 3 pm Mon 10/02 I called to verify the car would be ready and WAS TOLD OH IT WILL BE TOMORROW YOUR FUEL SENSOR IS LEAKING! to which I responded well the active recall on this IS re-torquing the fuel sensor for improper torque ! I am a farm mechanic I am not stupid! I am in the middle of harvest you guys let me down TREMENDOUSLY! SHame on you

Terrible business!!! Needed something replaced on car came out of shop with more issues. They left tools in engine bay, damaged my ac line, and had transmission issues after the repair they made had them check it cause it wasn t like that before they then lied about what was wrong said I need a whole new transmission went and got it checked by professional mechanics said it was something they didn t plug in don t know why they messed with it in the first place take your stuff else where they are lazy and unprofessional.

The first time i went they were all super nice and understanding. the second time i was told it would be $116 an hour to put two tires (i bought) on the car cause i had a missing wheel lock but brought my own stripping tool for the lock. A place down the road did it for $50 and didn t need the stripping tool (they had actually had a key) so i got money back returning that. the customer service was nice but the price was ridiculous and earned the 1 star.

Had days to think on this experience. I therefore highly suggested to my friend that she go get the mess some other place did to her tires fixed by Americas Auto. Y'all were awesome. (See previous review, see you soon for an oil change). PS- Rusty is my son, I am 70 years old and so appreciated how great your staff were. Many thanks!

On vacation from Illinois, and our parking brake cable decided to come loose wrapping around one of the drive shafts which tore up gear seals and damaged the differential. They were so nice and did everything they could to get us back on the road. It was no small job and took most of the day, but it sure beats losing the rest of our vacation. Would certainly recommend.

The folks here are wonderful! I was having tire troubles and they were great. I'm hard-of-hearing and they made sure I had access to all the information. I didn't know what to do with my tire and they checked all my possible options! Eventually they had to break a lugnut off (lost key) and they fixed my tire. They were super fast and had reasonable prices. I highly recommend them!

I started taking my vehicles to this shop and was treated very well, very friendly time efficient on repairs and was pleased to finally trust a shop...until today my jeep had issues so I took it in to get diagnosed, I received a call from Paul and started the usual friendly banter as done in the past, but he was short and rude and very indifferent he quoted me $1800 said I had a bad battery, alternator and radiator I informed him that I believed the battery was under warranty he got real snappy about that. I told Paul i would pick it up today that i could not afford $1800 at this time, when I got there this morning i was again treated very rude and indifferent by Paul, I was very upset when I left..I then took it to autozone tested the battery and yes it was bad but YES under warranty, so I got a new battery (no cost) then tested the alternator, it tested good and I purchased a radiator for $160.So $1800? and a incorrect diagnosis (cost $98)I now am questioning all the work I paid for and trusted was done on my vehicles.I feel very upset and disappointed with this experience.I had referred at least 5 other family and friends to use them and they did.I was hopefull that I had finally found a shop I could trust and was happy with the customer service.But they lost my business today and everyone I referred as well.I know everyone has a bad day but 2 days of being treated rude and then the ridiculous repair quote and a diagnosis that was not correct. Just can't let it go I don't appreciate being taken and misled and being talked to in that manner.

I been very happy taking my car into this shop Its been almost a year and Paul has been very kind and friendly. They know you by name. This last time I was unable to take in my car to get serviced and got a call about my tire having a nail in it, was asked if I wanted it to get repaired I had said yes and about ten minutes later got a call from my gf saying that my tire was wasn't able to get repaired. Paul has always been good at taking care of his customers he ended up buying me a new tire, thank Yu Paul!

Service was exceptional. I normally do all my automotive repairs but due time constraints I needed help. I don't regret it at all. Work was thorough and communication was outstanding. Certainly will return in the future for additional help.

This is a new place and very organized. I love the fish aquariums, they have dori and Nemo! Had my camera screen replaced and door handle- solid work! Popcorn too! Pricing is fair! I also had new headlight installed on my 2013 Nissan- excellent work, my rig looks great with her new eyes beep beep! Friendly and happy staff-
