I highly recommend taking your vehicle here! Ultimate has worked on my truck twice now, for two separate issues. Top quality work both times! They also back their work with a 2 year warranty for added protection.

This is one of the shops I visited to ask for installation of a suspension that accidentally came off. They not only declined the service because of no capacity (I understand this happens sometimes), but also refused to give any other shops names in the city (I was a tourist). The receptionist said brusquely she doesn t know any other shops. Is it possible to be so ignorant that she doesn t know even a single shop? It was the most horrible personality I ve ever encountered in US. I recommend American Tire Depot, which saved me finally.

Honest! Integrity! Service.. they MADE time for me during a personal emergency!Check engine light came on (I am 5K miles into a roadtrip, I dont need that), Autozone puts me on the computer, I need new Fuel Injectors, probably a 4 to 500$$ repair. They wanted to be sure my problem was diagnosed and fixed right, not just change my injectors. 2 hour diagnostic fee.. fairWhen it was done, I didn't need new injectors.. they cleaned it up while figuring it out, and that was perfect! They could have easily taken advantage of me, billed me hundreds of dollars, wasted days of my time.. but they didnt!! They did the complete opposite.. Honesty! Integrity! Service...Nothing but RESPECT to this team!!Ps.. I watched a Karen go off screaming on them while I was there ... expecting people to work for free..ridiculous Karen!! I would have laughed or worse in her face!! Great Job being professional!

They don't keep you informed of what is going on with your vehicle. I would highly not recommend any one to go to this repair shop. They were supposed to fix my oxygen sensor but they didn't do that . I said my check engine light was on and mentioned about my oxygen sensor need to be replaced. When I got my vehicle back there were screws to my dash on the floor board and my fuse panel cover was not putted back on. Also when mention to Mike that my check engine was still all could say was you have drive the vehicle and will cycle it self. They put a new battery and alternator on my vehicle because they said they were bad and putting out enough amps. They had my vehicle two weeks and when I went to pick up it took forever and seen nobody working on my vehicle. Piss poor commutation between them and the customer. I also seen them messing with my tires which didn't need to be touched.

Took my car in to check a check engine light. Charged me $260 for diagnostics and gave me an estimate of a bunch of unrelated stuff including $3500 for new catalytic converter. Took the car to a different shop they scanned the code and all they is to unplug the battery because the ecu needed a reset and i should be good. 1000+ miles later no check engine light, and guess what they didn t charge me a penny.

We went here to get an engine issue of our OBS 1991 Ford F350 checked out. They were able to diagnose the problem and fix it in the same day. Most places don t even diagnose older than 1996 trucks anymore. I can definitely recommend this place, it s knowledgeable and honest people.

My car was towed in for brake repair at the suggestion of the AAA representative I spoke with. Per The CA Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) investigation I had to file after Ultimate Motors had my car for weeks and ultimately ruined the braking system - Ultimate Motors was found to be fraudulent, negligent, to have performed unauthorized repairs/replaced unnecessary parts, and refused to return all requested parts to me. My car is currently undriveable and has proven to be a challenge to get repaired elsewhere because of the negligent work performed on it and the condition they left it in after returning it to me. Please note...they are also a "AAA Approved Repair Facility" which apparently means nothing as far as upholding the strict AAA Approved Auto Repair Program criteria for technician certification and customer satisfaction.

Don t go here. They charge $260 for a diagnosis.. go to American Tire Depot and save your money. $86 there. It s expensive everywhere in Joshua Tree but Ultimate Motors over gauges your wallet unnecessarily.American Tire Depot can do Volkswagen s too

Did work on my vehicle another well respected shop couldn't handle, at a third less than the dealers down the hill. No issues with the quality so far.Recommended. Be advised, they pass credit card fees on to you (3%), and do not accept checks.

ultimate motors has very high prices for average work. i stopped by because check engine light was on. they told me i could have an appointment over a week later. bummed- but i made the appointment. I had asked if it was safe to drive while waiting for appointment and the rude man at the front counter said "does the car start? then you can drive it" they did not even know what was wrong with it. So i go back to ultimate motors for my appointment, wait 45 minutes to sign in and the rude man at the counter told me it would be days before they could even look at it. This was a Thursday morning. Why did they make me wait over a week to bring car in to be parked there until they had time to diagnose it. That was totally messed up. i was finally told by a friend to just go to autozone and they can diagnose it for free. I will never go back to Ultimate motors. they are not trustworthy people and they certainly do NOT care about the residents up here. AAA approved we shall see about that.

As the name suggests, these guys are very professional and extremely helpful. I'd say they chose an appropriate name.

I was driving into Joshua Tree from LA and saw this perfect old 2002 Nissan Frontier for sale out front Ultimate Motors. The guys from the shop where selling it so I bought it from them. They are a great group of guys. A week later the car was having some overheating issues. So I brought the truck back to them and they quickly found the problem and installed a new radiator in the truck for free. These guys stand by their work and are honest and straightforward.

I would highly recommend ultimate Motors for you mechanical needs. They worked on my motor home years ago and now bulletproofing my 2005 6.0 diesel. They were very timely and professional. So if you need a highly trained mechanic go see ultimate Motors in yucca valley...

Crooks. Brought my Lincoln Mark 8 in for overheating. They gave me an open ended estimate for $6200 to replace all cooling systems parts, said 5 cylinders were leaking down and would probably need new heads possibly more. I towed it home and had my mechanic friend look, he replaced the thermostat and it ran cool.

Check engine light came on and found out from autozone that it was an issue with my throttle sensor. Ultimate motors told me that day that I could bring my car to them and leave it for 2 days and they'd look at it for me. Everyone else in town couldn't take me for weeks. They located the problem and were able to replace my throttle body right away and I got my car back at the end of that 2nd day. They were so helpful and speedy and I dont know what I would've done without them!

Back in August I needed an engine for my Audi A4 B7 since my short block was destroyed in a house fire while engine was already off the car. I came to Ultimate Motors (because of the great reviews and 2YR engine warranty for AAA members) to ask if they could repair the car. I brought pictures and videos to show how the car was and the minor heat damages it sustained from the fire; also informed that I still had all the parts from the engine inside the car. Mike (the foreman in my case) agreed to take on the project of rebuilding my car. I Had the car towed over, he estimated $4100 cash for an engine, miscellaneous parts (including burnt connectors and wiring from the very front of the car) and labor which included install of a full set of Koni shocks. He also allowed me to buy certain parts that he thought they might need as well to help me save money. I deposited $2000 cash that very day to start the process. Mike then told me the engine should be there in a WEEK and would take about 3 BUSINESS DAYS from that to complete the job. Also would keep me informed throughout the whole process to help me plan accordingly since I had a rental for the time being.I called or stopped there every 2-3 WEEKS for an update since no one ever contacted me. It was always clueless Andrew who picked up the phone and then Mike who kept getting the wrong engine from the same supplier. Then came the time Mike physically showed me "the engine" that he inspected himself to make sure it was the right one and since I was going to be out of state for 15 DAYS, he assured the car would be ready before I got back and would call if he ran into any issue.18 DAYS after Mike showed me "the engine" or 2 MONTHS since the car had been in their shop (still in the yard against a fence where it'd been since day 1) I called to know the balance due to pick up the car; Andrew was still clueless on the repairs and Mike said the engine he showed me was once again wrong; yet never was I notified of that.Tired of their lack of professionalism and lost of trust, I told Andrew I would get my car repaired at a different shop and would be there to pick up my cash deposit and tow the car of their premises the next morning. When I got there I was left to deal with Andrew (Yes Andrew! the guy who didn't know anything about the deal I had with Mike). Mike didn't have the decency to even show up his face although he was present in the office. Instead of the $2000 cash deposit I gave them, Andrew handed me a check to cash at their bank which would charge me $10 to honor it. The whole experience with Ultimate Motors was a disaster. In less than 3 WEEKS from leaving Ultimate Motors, I was driving my Audi again with a 6YR warranty used engine, full exhaust, new shocks and a new clutch back to my house

To begin with, they're prices were extremely high. My vehicle had overheated and I had it towed by AAA to this shop. Anyhow, I did eventually agree with the price for the work and a few days later I was contacted and informed that my vehicle was ready for pick up. This was around 4pm so I advised them I'd be in first thing the following morning. However, before I could walk out the door, I recieved another call stating there is additional work that needs to be done on my car, as it is still overheating. This additional work would add over 3 thousand dollars to the original quoted price. Of course I became confused and upset as I just could not comprehend how my car went from being ready for pick up to still having essentially the same problem as when I brought it in. Long story short, I paid for the work I had already agreed to (not because I wanted to but because I had to) and took my car without the "additional work" they recommended since I could not pay such an exuberant amount, nor did I qualify for the payment plan. Now I am out over $1,500 and still do not have a car to drive. If my car had been correctly diagnosed and I had been given a closer cost estimate to what was actually expected I would have been able to take my car elsewhere or decline the work, as I am still in the same position of not having a car. Lastly, I have 5 miles on my vehicle that are unaccounted for as compared to the milage listed at the time of release. Perhaps someone took a little joy ride causing my vehicle to require this "additional work" that was found after I had been told it was ready.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance

We recently bought a used Jeep and took it to Adam to get a few modifications and we are SO happy with their work. They did a great job with all the work we had done and everyone there was so friendly and professional. Now we will definitely bring our other cars here if we need any work done! They re the best

The folks at Ultimate did a great job on my Toyota. The cost of the work they did was very reasonable and the work was done promptly. The crew is very friendly and professional. I have had most of the work on my car done at the dealership, but from now on I will have my work done at UltimateService: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

Good job rewiring my truck after rodents ate the wiring! Since I didn't have an appt. It took almost a week before they even looked at it. Then they had it a little over 2 months! I was grounded without my truck! B7t she seems to be running very well so it was worth the wait!

Our Volkswagen was taken in due to an intake problem. Andrew, at the front desk, was able to help with calling our warranty company and making sure to get the most out of what was covered. He promised updates by close of business that Friday, which he did, and was able to work with the warranty company and made sure our parts were covered. We had our parts by Monday and he stayed behind passed 5pm (we couldn't get off work till 5 and were 30 minutes away from the shop) so we could get our car back. Very pleased with the service. On the Friday that my wife took the car in initially, the owner gave her a ride home so she didn't have to wait there. Great customer service and follow up.

I took my 2003 F250 in for Transmission warranty work, They completed that and when I picked it up it stalled and would not stay running. They took it back in and installed 2 new batteries and gave me a quote of $4,165.75To replace all fuel injectors, fuel pressure sensor and fuel filter. My truck has been sitting since May 15, 2017.Thinking I had to save the money for the repair, Last week a mechanic friend told me to replace the fuel filter first then go from there.I did! and now the truck is running perfect.I simply took my truck to the professionalsAnd they let me down. By the way the filter cost me $32 and took 15 min to replace.I would definitely pass this shop by. Very nice staff though. With all the positive reviews, I wonder how many repairs were actually necessary.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I dropped my 7.3 off here for a no start problem after 2 days the only idea they had had was to charge the batteries after a week of it being there with no contact I started to inquire about the progress sure enough the next day it was "done" I picked it up and drove 600 miles before the cheap aftermarket parts that they put in (without informing me that they weren't factory) left me stranded.Severely wish you could give less than one star
