We were referred here by another local European Auto repair agency. Have never had one poor experience with Singh & Exclusive Auto. They've always been straightforward & we never once got that creepy / sleazy car place feeling. My family have taken all our cars here for years now, European, Domestic, Import. Mini Cooper, F150, Camaro, Jeep, Lexus, etc. Probably half the cost overall of going to a dealer & I actually trust Exclusive Auto. Don't trust the dealers (except for Lexus but they're so expensive). I even got my tires here, for my truck, at a competitive price. They also have an oil change business on the boulevard near Arco gas - same thing have only gotten good service. Absolutely refer anyone who needs car maintenance to Singh. Great guy & we appreciate all the times he's helped us.

Needed a new engine for my Fiat. They found a used engine with close to the same milage that was on my original engine. Quoted a price and they were fair. Been driving on the used engine for two years with no issues. I have gone for oil changes and have bought accessories for my vehicle from them. I am very happy with their work and trust them. Don't let anyone else touch my vehicle.

I just realized how bad Exclusive is after giving them thousands more than our little Mini Cooper is worth over the last few years. They are very nice- but our car just spent 6 weeks there with almost a $1400.00 bill to fix the lights, the check engine light and repair the valve cover gasket that was missed on the last repair. As soon as we got home the check engine light was back on. We took it back and three days later were told that it is either "gunked up valves, a common Mini problem, or a more expensive issue its the fuel pump" if gunked up valves are a common problem why did you not take a peak during the six weeks it was there for a check engine light and you had the valve cover off? It's always over $1000 every trip, it takes forever, they cannot diagnose the issue- its fixed by trial and error on my dime and the last two have required redo's. Lesson learned, looking for a new shop. Also- I have never been given an estimate or rec'd any of the old parts. Very nice people, but not efficient at repairing my vehicle.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

I needed a wheel bearing pressed out and the new one pressed in, i dropped it off at 4:30 and assured me it would be done before they closed at 6. I went to pick it up at 5:50 and it wasn t finished, not even touched. They told me it would be ready at 8am the next morning, but since its the bearing for my only vehicle and i have to leave for work at 4:30am I have to take it home and reinstall it with the old broken bearing. I have also taken a 2001 saab 9-3 turbo here for a head gasket which they charged me for but the issue still remained and was dragged out and delayed repeatedly for over 2 weeks. I thought maybe since they closed later than the machine shop behind parts authority i could trust them with this small job but apparently they can t even get that right. Save yourself time and frustration and just go anywhere else.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I have been a customer of this place for years. they were very good and the price was very competitive. lately the quality of their work has dropped. Just be careful when the work is completed make sure they did what was promised. I hope they get it together but until then I wont go backService: Engine repairService: Engine repair

just over a week ago my radiator went out a few miles from this shop. I called to ask if they worked on Ford Transits and could they fit in an extra long model with a high top. luckily they said they could. It was late in the day but they said they could get to it the next day. I brought it in right when they opened at 7:00 a.m. on a Friday. They put me at the front of the line as I had a special kind of emergency. I transport rescue dogs across the country and I had 14 German Shepherds needing to get to their new homes in Maine. They got to it right away and despite the local Ford dealer delivering the wrong parts I was out of there just as they were closing and at a fair price. Stephanie, a young woman who works in the office even brought us lunch. I hope that If I ever break down in California again it's close to this shop.

Took my vehicle here in that they said that they were familiar with Mini Coopers and could replace and calibrate my timing chain and transmission. When I asked if they could make sure the engine light indicating that my vehicle was running rich would be remedied, the owner said "of course", "you're not going to pay $1,600.00" and we're not going to make sure everything is ok". days later I get a call and the owner tells me that my car is "fixed" by my alternator is bad and not working. I told him that shouldn't be the case because my alternator was just replaced. He replied with "I don't know what to tell you". Then I asked if he had checked the fault codes and he said "no". I replied with, "well can you?". He checked them and my car was littered with new fault codes that I didn't have before. He told me it was because of my alternator and that they would charge $700 to fix. I took my car out of there to have it repaired by someone else and my vehicle died out on the freeway and had to have it towed to the other repair shop. After running the diagnostics, the other repair shop informed me that my alternator was not bad but that Exclusive Auto had not timed vehicle properly which cause my vehicle to shut down. Calling Exclusive Auto back, the owner was very defensive and initially denied responsibility and asked me to bring the diagnostic printout and my vehicle to him. I did and 3 days later I got a call that my car was ready. When I asked what the problem was, the owner told me that my timing WAS off. No apology or reference to the horrible, and rude situation that they had put me in.Service: Auto engine tuning

A few days ago I had the serpentine belt and some pulley's in my car replaced by a mechanic. Driving home I was passing through Yucaipa when this brand new belt shredded. I was stuck! After speaking with Sam at Exclusive Auto and feeling comfortable with how he was responding to my situation I had my car towed there. Though it was after 3:30 when I arrived with the car, Sam and Walter got the parts needed to fix the problem and identified an issue the previous mechanic created. With a little ingenuity and know-how they came up with a solution to the problem the previous mechanic created. They didn't charge me extra for this, though it added about 30 minutes to the job. In all, I was in and out in about 2 hours and was able to make it home that night, which was important to me and my girlfriend.Everything felt easy working with Sam and Walter. They let me know my options, what they could and could not do that day, and ultimately got me what I needed to get home. Wish they were in my home town!

Horrible experience to say the least. Brought my car in for an oil leak 10 days ago. My car was running and was having smoking coming out of it. After 2 days, Exclusive Auto finally officially diagnosed my car having 2 "major leaks" according to Mark the service manager. He quoted me $810 to fix the leak and there shouldn't be anymore smoking. I thought the price was extremely high but I had no choice. I needed my car fix so I can drive to work. Four days later, Mark called and said my car is "fixed and ready to go." He said someone took for a 5 mile test drive and everything was good. I stopped by after work. I ended paying $713 (they gave me a discount because they took too long to fix my car). When I went to start my car to drive home, it didn't start. Mark tried and it did the same thing, not starting. Now mind you, my car was running when I brought it in on 8/18/14. After having my car for 4 days, charged me $713, and my car doesn't run anymore. Mark told me he needed more time to figure out why it didn't start. Today, 8/27/14, he called and said they found a new problem. I spoke with the owner, SINGH CHARANJIT, who said the new problem is "the head bolt broke and got in to the timing change" and that why my car doesn't start. And it would cost me an additional $2500 to fix it. What?????!!!!! He even told me he called all the BMW experts and the North America BMW and was told that this is "a common problem". I called Savage BMW in Ontario where I usually bring my car to (which I should've done this time as well) and explained what so-called new problem. I was told this is almost never unheard of or extremely uncommon unless it's a recall item. She checked my car year and model and found no manufacture recall for this issue. What I found was stranger that the owner kept insisting that it's not his technician's fault that caused this problem while I never accused him of anything. The way the owner tried his best to defense his technician makes me think he might have caused the damage while trying to figure out why my car doesn't run. I asked the owner what I should I do now that I already paid for the leaks and can't even drive my car. He laughed and said he couldn't tell me what to do but asked that I pick up my car and bring it somewhere else to fix. I am very angry! I brought my car in for the oil leaks, paid for the services, and expected to get my car in working/running condition. Now I can't even drive my car. I can't afford fix the so-called new problem that might have caused by someone at Exclusive while having my car for 10 days. I don't have a car to drive to work and the long term rental is too expensive. I'm at risk losing my job if I can't find transportation to get to work. This is not right! I regret bringing my car here and will never use the services here again. The owner dared me to take him to court for this and I will do just that. I'm all about supporting local small businesses but I would not recommend this business to anyone. If you want to stay in business long, be honest with your customers. Extremely disappointed!I read other reviews and the owner usually responded. Some of the responses seemed unprofessional. So I expect him to do the same to my review here if my review doesn't get deleted..

Best auto shop I have ever seen, it didn't even seem like an auto shop. Super clean, even the mechanics are wearing "white"! The waiting area is as nice as home. You can use your laptop there with their wi-fi and they have coffee and donuts, which I enjoyed. They offered me a ride home and said they would come get me when my car was finished, but it was going to be a fairly quick thing so I stayed. Chaunda at the front counter was very pleasant to speak with when I showed up, and then another guy took over everything and I felt that they really care about everything I needed. They kept asking me as I waited if I needed anything at all, which was better than many restaurants any more. I got my oil changed and front brakes replaced. During the oil change they replaced 2 brake light bulbs, which they didn't charge anything extra for. They also found that the spare tire was flat, so they took care of that, (I bet no one else has ever even checked it)? Then to top it all off, they washed the car, which they didn't charge me anything to do. A couple of days later they called me just to ask if everything was going good, which it was. I am very impressed at the level of customer care they exercise from start to finish and then some. Very Impressed. I recommend these guys to everyone now!

PLEASE READ THIS!I spent $3300 here in the last 4 months for the same problem. The employees bought the wrong part for my car 3 times. My car was here for 2 weeks straight and nothing was fixed. I'm in my car on my way to San Diego while writing this, and guess what! My check engine light is back on! I got it "fixed" YESTERDAY! We are strongly considering suing this awful company. PLEASE do not waste your time or money here.

I've been going here for 20 years, since I first moved into town and asked a stranger where I could go to get a good oil ch change and an honest estimate. They haven't disappointed yet! I've even seen management change a few times, but the new management is always awesome, so everytime I go shopping around I end up right back here at Exclusive!

I had to go to this shop for a total head job on my 2015 chevy sonic. First of all, the gentleman singh was very professional and friendly. I mean he helped me out every step of the help and let me know about everything that needed to be done. He didnt start adding unnecessary repairs. I had a genuinely amazing experience and it will be the first shop i go back to whether it the car i have now or a new car. Kudos man

AAA approved. Warranty work. Competitively priced. Excellent customer service. Expert mechanics on both foreign and domestic vehicles. Only downside is they are now owned by the same people who run the horrible car wash off third st.

If there was an option to give this place -1, i would, i took my Subaru outback in to get a problem fixed and i was'nt quite sure what it was. not only did they charge me for an extra hour but they quoted me the most expensive job which was that i had worn valve guides. this procedure would cost 2500 to fix. But even i knew that worn valve guides means burning oil which it did not do. They said all they did was drop the exhaust manifold and i guess that takes 3 hours. Oh but they did not forget to tell me about how dirty my brake fluid was, that must have been the other 2 hours that it took to diagnose the problem. After i got it back there was also a gash taken out of my bumper, but since i did not see it when i was there, they were not responsible. Come to find out, i figured out what the problem was, it was a corroded ground on the o2 sensor, goes to show how honest they are. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even for an oil change.

I have had very pleasant experiences at Exclusive Auto from the first time I stopped by. The front is clean and friendly. I have never seen an auto repair place that looks as clean and well kept. I felt very well taken care of which is a relief because it seems so many repair shops take advantage of women. I needed an oil change, and my air conditioner needed fixing (fyi, it blows ice cubes now). Nathan helped me and was knowledgable and took care of everything, even explaining clearly what was needed. I was thinking of buying a newer car, but now I don't need to because they took care of everything. They told me what I need to do next, (a radiator flush) and when the milage hits that mark, I'll be getting it done by them! I'm glad I found Exclusive and I recommend them to everyone (especially women)!

I was so lucky to find this place. Everybody talks about how hard it is to find an auto shop that you can trust. I met the owner during a church event I was at and after I found out what he did, I went into his place to get some stuff done. His whole staff has been incredible to work with. I have to recommend this place to anyone really looking for honesty. No more worries, I love it!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE BY ANY MEANS!!! OWNER IS A LIAR AND A CHEAT!!! I took my car to the shop for a pre-sale inspection and peace of mind for the person that was buying it. Car is a 2006 BMW 530i. I arrived at 8:15 and was quoted an hour to and hour and a half max, so agreed t to do it and wait. It took them over 2.5 hours to even get to the car. The mechanic that was doing the inspection was Walter. Walter takes my car for a test drive up the block to make sure that it isrunning properly I guess. I watch him pull out of the driveway and proceed to floor the car and hotrod the car up up the street. Then I watch him slam on the brakes and do a uturn in the middle of the street.. Floor the car again and attempt to brake to pull into their driveway. The driveway is at a 90 degree turn from the street and goes up a hill---on both sides of the driveway are dirt burms. He waits until last minute to brake and again slmas on the brakes and hits the dirt burm. I run out and scream at him. The owner comes out and tells me that he will take care of it. Tells Walter something and he takes the car behind the shop and out of site and proceeds to hose the front off. Long story short, I was mortified. The car had a few pounds of dirt up inside the valance. Scraps and deep gouges in to the bottom of the bumper. I was told again by the owner (SIngh I believe is his name) that he would take care of it. I wait another hour and a half (4 hours total) and get the car back in a lot worse of shape then when I bring it in, Keep in mind that I was there just for a pre-sale inspection. I have owned many cars in my years--from Prorsches to Lexus and everything in-between. I have had many dealings withe Dealerships and Local Mechanic shops----I HAVE NEVER had such a terrible experience.....EVER!!! As I leave I again ask the owner how he is going to take care of this---he tells me I can go to the local car wash and they can try to buff it out. These are gouges and deep scratches!!!! I proceeded to take the car to Ben Clymers Bodyshop just to get and estimate on the damage that Walter and Exclusive Auto caused to my car-----$945!!! A little more damage then a car wash buffing it out!! I would steer clear of this place at all costs.

An epic experience deserves an epic review. Here goes.My story begins with an unawares motorist backing into my man-chariot ('94 Cutlass Supreme) in a McDonalds parking lot. Upon exiting my vehicle, the only immediately obvious damage was a ding in the rear fender well. After exchanging information and pleasantries with my fellow motorist, I drove off thinking "Well this is a headache in the making". I was only half right. The following weeks passed uneventfully, save for a horrible noise coming from the rear wheel which had been struck. After contacting and dealing with the offending driver's insurance, they agreed to cover damages and the cost of a rental car. With a whoop of joy, and a merry cry of "HELL YEAH RENTAL CAR!!!" I drove home from work, stopping at Exclusive Auto to drop the car off.Upon entering the shop, I was first taken aback by the luxurious, almost Chateau-like appointment of the lobby. Large, comfortable couches? Yes. Satellite TV? Yes. Donuts and coffee? YES YES YES!!!! Clearly, the proprietors of this shop had both excellent taste in interior design, as well as a keen knack for hospitality. I then looked into the service bay. It appeared as a regular HIVE of activity, with knowledgeable mechanics running each way, hands full with their tools of trade. It was like peering into the personal workshop of Vulcan himself! When my awe abated, I was greeted courteously by Brittany. Her eloquence and eagerness to help me be on my way was frankly astounding. Instead of (as is all too common) being ejected from this high-class establishment, mistaken for riff-raff, I was treated with more courtesy and respect than should be due a man of my station (I drive a freakin' hoopty for cryin' out loud). After an exchange of information I was offered a rockstar to salve my parched throat, and a courtesy shuttle to the rent-a-car establishment.Over the course of the next week, things passed as normal save for my driving a modern automobile, rather than a 20-year old family sedan. Both the insurance company's silence and the lack of correspondence began to grate my conscience by the third day, so I called the shop. Once again I was flabbergasted by the courteousness of the staff. They hadn't heard from the insurance company, but an adjuster had been out. My mind set at ease, I continued on my workweek. After the passing of one week, a check arrived in the mail claiming that it would cover the cost of repair and then some. Sadly it did not. The mechanical repairs which had been my primary concern were FAR more expensive than the small sum required to repair the cosmetic damages which I had been allotted funding for. The insurance company had won by pulling a fast one on yours truely. Defeated, I took my rental car back, and a shuttle to Exclusive. Weary, sleep deprived and saddened I relayed my side of the story to Brittany, who commiserated and heard me out with a sympathetic ear. With a promise to keep looking for the best prices on parts for repair, I was handed the keys to my freeway steed and bid goodbye. This is the tale of my experience with Exclusive - start to finish. And having spent a half-hour writing this up, I feel that EVERY. LAST. WORD was well worth the effort typing, if only to relay the excellence of this facility. If you're in need of car maintenance or repair, don't hesitate to give these guys a call. You won't be disappointed.
