Have a VW Jetta 2011 with major electrical problems and the check engine lights were coming on. We found this place on line and started dealing with a very professional and knowledgeable mechanic named Juan. After diagnosing the car he gave us an estimation. A few days later he called us back and said he saved us an additional 400$. This was one of the most honest auto mechanics we have ever dealt with. Will take my vehicle there for all its needs! Very dependable and reliable!

Theses guys are amazing that their job dealership wanted me to replace the whole wiring harness in my challenger (expensive). I took my car into commercial auto and a $30 part fixed my issue.thanks for a real diagnostic and honesty. These guys really know their stuff professionally I definitely will be bring my other cars in. Thank you for what you do. I had fire damage in the compartment adjacent to my rv house batteries that connected to the vehicle alternator. I called all over and the rv techs didn t want to touch it because it was connected to the truck engine and the auto mechanics didn t want to touch it because it was connected to the camper. I drove in to Commercial Electric on a recommendation and Juan took the schematics I offered and went right to work. Three hours later I had a functioning rig again. I would definitely return to them for any problem they cover! They struck me as being honest, efficient and caring.

This place is the best. I didn t have an appointment but they were able to fit me in today. Quick service and they gave me free windshield wipers. Will definitely use them again

They did not do the work correctly. He charged me $303.00 for nothing. Would not correct it. Rip off.

Went in for a smog and barely had time to finish my coffee before it was done. Techs here really know their stuff, and will take the time to explain everything. They even offer a punch card for smoging. You fill it up and get a free one. You can't beat that. Do yourself a favor and take your troubled right here.

I've been going here for years to get my car smogged I've been very busy schedule showed up today about 11:15 the only time I could come and the guy said hes about to go on lunch at 11:30 to come back at 12:30 instead of just getting a customer in and getting them done and then taking lunch I told him no Ill just go somewhere else and he smiled and said ok....very bad business...lost a customer I will never return here again

I made an appointment to avoid sitting and waiting, when I arrived the shop was closed for lunch. I waited 15 minutes and went back to the door, the mechanic told me they had no appointments for my scheduled time because the smog tech isn't back from lunch until 2 pm. Not acceptable, that meant waiting an hour. I don't think so. They even told me I never made any appointment because they never schedule at that time. I will NEVER go back nor would I recommend that place!

This people still because told me I need new compressor for my air conditioner I took for one place at 725 Sutter st yuba city this guy is so good and is nothing wrong with my car everything is good the guy here only wants to put everything new to charge more. .don't go to this place only still people money'sService: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Have had smogs at Commercial Electric for 10 years. Took the car in Friday, failed the test, had the problem accurately diagnosed and repaired within an hour, passed the test. All at very reasonable rates. Recommend them highly.

I've taken my vehicle here before and service has been impeccable. Service included minor hiccups but the job still got done with a fair price. But my recent and also current experience has been one for the ages. I took my vehicle to them mid February and it is now late April. I've heard little to no communication from them (weeks at a time) and there is never a solid answer as to the state of which the vehicle is in. I'm very saddened by this because usually these guys are stand up people and keep you as informed as they can. It's been near 2 months now and It seems like its a never ending process of excuses. A job I had them do on my vehicle before resulted in a "faulty" part which they replaced immediately after a discussion over the phone. Understandable. But for the second time now they've ordered an OEM part And it has been "faulty". I'm starting to second guess my choices. Multiple people have seen my vehicle being driven around town on multiple different routes. Which I understand it's a smog issue and it needs miles but come on now its something not worth 2 months of time. Going to pick it up tomorrow to take it somewhere else.Little tip.. dont go here if you expect a quick fix

Commercial is my auto shop. I won't go anywhere else. All employees are friendly and you are acknowledged right away. The work is done accurately and priced fairly. I trust them completely!

My car had parasitic battery drain. They had my car for four days and did not detect the problem. I paid 190 bucks. The car still had the problem, so my step dad very easily looked at the car and found the a.c. relay was causing the drain. I'm not impressed with commercial electric.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I have used Commercial Auto/Diesel Electric services several times in the past. They have always done a a good job from smog checks to computer repairs/replacement. The "techs" have always been pleasant to deal with in my past experiences.Services: Exhaust, ElectricalServices: Exhaust, Electrical

I've been taking my cars here for over 15 years and never had a problem with them at all they will fix the problem and not overcharge or try to sell you parts that you don't need

Found this place a while back. It is now my go to mechanic! Juan is the man! Knowledgeable, efficient and eager-to-please! The prices are competitive. I highly recommend this place! Don't let the 300 cars out front fool you! LOL

Made four separate appointments was qoated $245 to have my ac flushed and fixed they said my pump, Ac condenser ect was no good then tried to charge me 1900$ I decided to take it to a different shop got it fixed for $135 and every thing they said that was wrong with it wasn't and they broke my vaporizer on the Ac system... I wouldn't recommend coming here

Quick service we always go there for smog but wish they had better parking. I did go into the main office the guy just looked at me and looked away, while eating not even asking what we needed.

I've always liked bring my autos here to have smogged, been doing business with you for years BUT unfortunately today is not the case because when called to set up an appointment to get my car smogged I was told by your employee that unless I provided the actual paper copy from the "Shopper" or paper print out from the website that the discount would not be honored... Soooo today I am taking my business elsewhere... I'm so bummed!

took my vehicle in for a PRE-TEST which is what my paper work still shows. they still ran my car through the state computer and flagged my car as a gross polluter. now have to take my vehicle to a special smog place and pay more for smog checks.
