Took my car in for a Smog test and suspension done and got a very reasonable price. Staff are friendly. Got a ride home so that I didn t have to wait for my car and got picked up when it was finished. Convenient location with a car wash next door too.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They are the most unscrupulous people I have ever dealt with. Do NOT take your car to these people unless you want to give them your hard earned money and waste your time. They will fix your problem but then mysteriously there will be a bunch of other issues that require fixing that will be much more expensive than your initial issue.

Went for an oil and filter change had coupon. Price 11.99. Almost 3,000 $ later car still isn't running plus the traded out our less than 1 week old batter for one that can't hold a charge. Told us to go and exchange it. Ya right. Workers were arguing more than being courteous. What a joke. Don't go here.

Brought car in for smog check. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. No frills and priced right. Fortunate enough to arrive when smog bay was open. Fast service. Clean waiting area.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Took my car there and they removed a check engine light without doing any work on my vehicle. They LIED about doing work on my car and the issue they said they "fixed" could have killed us. Do not trust Joseph.

Will never go back. Took car in for smog check and of course was told the car is in need of other repairs immediately...I agreed and they ended up messing up something else and my car squeaked loudly every time I drove it after that....had to go back to have them fix the issue they caused.While waiting for the car to be ready, I saw them use the same tactic on every other customer as well...people come in to get one thing done and they try to convince them they are in need of something else.Untrustworthy and unreliable.

DO NOT TAKE UR CAR HERE!;LIARS! $14.99 oil change? SCAM! Won't take coupons! quart of cheap oil @ WalMart is $5, yet this LIAR charges $2.50. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I wish I could give them a negative star. Crooks and charlatans manage this business stay away and don't waste your hard earned money. They may be OK for smog only. Be extra cautious they have absolutely no ethics. STAY AWAY.

Went there for an oil change and was soon upcharged for anything they could find. After they got busy and forgot about me, i ended up leaving without having any work done. Then i was called nonstop for two days asking that i bring the car back for service. Now i just drive past the place - i suggest you do the same.

My son took his car in for a smog check. My son calls me about an hour later and says he won t pass the car because it needs a lot of repairs. So I called the guy and says he needs motor mounts, shocks, struts, valve cover gasket and front end alignment. I told him just to smog the car and I will repair the stuff that needs to be repaired (I m mechanically inclined) he said that he still won t pass the car because it was unsafe to drive and if he repairs something on the car he ll pass it. So I had him do the easy repair the valve cover gasket. $450 later the car passed smog. Hmmm, amazing. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else.

Sam is just absolutely wonderful and caring. He's not out to milk you for your money. He truly cares about the customers welfare and will tell you not to spend money on your car if its not necessary. I'm a full time mom and he has always been very kind and understanding and has taken care of my cars in an excellent and affordable way. Thank you Sam for the excellent service you provide and for your compassion. You guys are 5 star and beyond in my book!

If you are trying to find a trustworthy and affordable car repair shop in the Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda, then you are at reading the right review about Value Auto Service, my friend. I mean we all want good value and reliable service, right?And if that is the case, then I would recommend that you COMPLETELY AVOID THIS SHOP. (And that is AVOID with a capital HELL-to-the-NO.)You d probably be better off shifting your gears to neutral, and pushing your car into an oncoming 18-wheeler. It would probably cost you less and at least you d know the truth. (Just kidding. Don t do that either.)2 months ago, we received a letter from the DMV that our Hybrid needed a smog check for its registration renewal. My husband called Value Auto Service and spoke to one of the mechanics. The guy sounded amenable and decently eager to help. We can get you in and out in less than 30 mins IF you come right now. We didn t know it then but that statement would become the first of many lies. Upon arrival, a line of cars outside of the shop indicated a wait MUCH longer than 30 mins. (Apparently 5 cars happened to pull into the shop 15 minutes prior to our arrival.) The guy apologized and told my husband that they d need about 2 hours to get the smog check done. 3 hours later, we finally received a callback. The tech said that our car failed the smog check. As per their report, our car passed emissions, but managed to fail the visual portion of the smog check. (Yes you read that right: our car visually failed.) The mechanic popped our hood open and saw about $1700 worth of repairs that needed to be done. According to the experts at Value Auto Service, if we replace the flex capacitor, our Nissan will finally be able to power up to 15,000 jigawatts, travel back to the future, AND visually pass their smog check.Our car wasn t blowing out black plumes of smoke or idling uncontrollably. It was regularly serviced/maintained and had relatively lower miles for an older car. Needless to say, we refused to be extorted and opted to take our car home despite their disapproving head shaking.To no surprise, the shop officially reported that our car failed their smog check - which meant that we we had to wait for some time to pass before we could even take our car to another smog check facility. This also meant that could not legally drive the vehicle - leaving us with only 1 car to use. My husband conferred with 2 nearby shops to get a 2nd opinion. BOTH shops were surprised to see our results.Fast-forward to today. We were finally able to take our car into another shop. Spoiler alert: our car miraculously passed the entire smog check within 5 mins of being connected to the machine! To make matters worse, there was actually an older lady that happened to be picking up her vehicle at this new shop we were at. She overheard our conversation and told us that she was a former customer of Value Auto. She actually paid over $2k for repairs and her car still wasn t operational. So sad.We all need to make a living - I totally get that. However, their predatory tactics are shameless & deplorable. Do your due diligence, but more importantly, just go to a different shop.

Had my car overheat in their parking lot. Thankfully Mike and everyone else fixed my problem and took care of me when I experienced farther issues.Gonna keep bring my truck in when I have issues with it. 10/10 service and work

Sam is great! He treated us like family. We brought our Kia to him with a blown engine, he rebuilt it and gave us a warranty. Careful folks. Business practices are unique under Mr Sam. I know first hand how easy it is to fall for his cleaver tactics. Your simple smog test will most likely cost you in the thousands by the time his teams tactics with their "must do" inspections. Struts, breaks, etc. Don't hate the game! Your been warned. Oh... Sam will offer all his unsuspecting patrons such a deal.This means simple oil changes as well. Be aware!!

Everything he told me about my car and the necessary repairs was true. I knew the radiator was bad because I was adding water every 3 days. I got belts replaced that I knew were worn. He told me a sensor needs replaced and I told him about an incident recently that proved what he said.

I called before I went over this morning to see how long the wait is for a smog check. I got lucky and was told less than 30 minutes. My car was brought in for smog check not long after I arrived and it was done sooner than I thought. They honored the coupon and both gentlemen were very friendly. Thumbs up!

Bunch of thieves trying to scam people out of repairs not needed. My boyfriend took his truck to get a smog check. Used a coupon. Was told his truck didn t pass and needed $2550 worth of repairs. Went to another smog place for a second opinion and passed with flying colors. Do not go there unless you want to get ripped off! Should of read their yelp reviews before going there.

BAIT AND SWITCH. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.Went in for their coupon mailer smog special. My vehicle passed all mechanical tests, the shop failed the "visual inspection" portion of the smog test. Owner tried to charge me $2000.00 to "repair the visual inspection."It's a TOTAL SCAM. A different smog shop nearby PASSED MY VEHICLE WITH NO ISSUES.VALUE AUTO SERVICE has a TERRIBLE REPUTATION among the automotive repair community for FRAUD and UNSCRUPULOUS business practices.YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

Went here to get a smog check. Mechanic was out to lunch, was told he would be back in 10 minutes, well the snap on tool hit pulled up blocked our vehicle in so they could t get to it. After an hour I asked the manager if they could ask him to move it. Well they didnt after 2 hours I said it's a violation to have that truck blocking the parking spaces, our wish a handicap plate. I thought about how they didnt care about the customers time. We were there for 3 hours to get a smag check. They obviously dont care about their cucumbers!! Never again!

Got a Synthetic Oil Change for my 2011 PriusIf you get the coupon from their website, make sure you bring it in.Eddie and his crew will take care of you as long as you are nice to him.I will be coming back for future car inspections and services.If you have a long wait, you can keep yourself busy with the tasty taco place in the center of the plaza. Or just bring a battery pack with your phone to pass the time.

Eddie and the team were great. We came in for a seasonal smog check in our Kia Optima and they took care of us right away. Opened promptly atv8:00 AM and had us out within 30 minutes.My baby Kia passed with flying colors and we were on our way lickety split.I will be back for my check ups and more.
