Scotty is a blessing to my life. His work is annointed quality work with God using Scottys hands to do masterful mechanical work on my car! Scottys is always efficient, kind,thoughtful and hands down the most honest mechanic i have ever met in my 40 years of life. Thank you for all you do Scotty! God bless

I moved out of the area in 2019, but still find ways to travel back to Kindred to have my Miata serviced. Scott is the best and I wouldn t take my car anywhere else.

So Glad to find kindred. Scott knows his stuf. Took care of a screw up that a local big chain oil shop did to my car. Experince, open and fair mechanics you can trust are hard to find. Won't be going anywhere else for all my auto needs.

My family has been searching for an honest mechanic in the State of California for over 3 years....we finally found one! Scott worked and repaired my Jeep about 1 year ago and did quality work. He has a sense of professionalism; integrity; courtesy; and respect you won't find in the brand-name dealerships. We moved out of the Yorba Linda area and relocated to San Francisco. Unfortunately, we had a bad car buying experience from a local dealership which resulted in my daughter's car requiring an engine rebuild and a new hybrid battery. After taking it to a local Toyota dealership and being quoted an outrageous price for repairing my daughter's Prius. I decided to call Scott and see what his advice would be. He found a repair shop which specialized in rebuilding this type of engine and he also found a cheaper Hybrid battery company for us. I had the car towed down to his shop where he performed all of the repair work in a timely and cost-effective manner. From start to finish, he saved our family about $8,000. I wish there were 100 more mechanics like Scott in the world. Thanks again for saving us time and money. If you want an honest mechanic, then I highly recommend this family run business. I've used Kindred ADR on several of my vehicles (corvette, mustang, miata) with excellent service and results. They go above and beyond with service, they are priced fair and warranty their work. They communicate timely (even the bad news) and the breadth of work they do is impressive especially the custom work. I came down to visit family from Seattle and I had my car die. I called AAA they didn't really seem to help that terribly much, then I found Kindred ADR. I left a message at about 7:30 p.m. on a Friday and got a return call at about 6:45 a.m. Saturday morning. I managed to get the car in to Kindred. Scotty looked at it, worked on it, had it repaired in way less time than I thought. He had it for barely 2+hours and got it fixed and dialed in ,and checked on the condition of other things knowing that we still had better than 15 or 1600 miles to get home. We were ready to go on the road for the rest of our trip and then ultimately head back to Seattle. We had to go to back to Bakersfield a second time on our trip ,then up to crescent City and then back to the Seattle area.No problems at all after Scotty worked on a Chevy Malibu 2013. All the way home good except for construction road slow down, but no mechanical issues whatsoever. I felt that what he charged was definitely very fair and I wished he was in my neighborhood. Quick, honest and fair price is definitely hard to find.I rate five and a half stars out of five stars!!!!!Thank you very much again Scotty, I appreciate that you got me in, taken care of quickly and definitely a very fair price with no issues thereafter.Good luck to you,andyou will do well.K

Took my car in Sept. Dude says he does quality work. Broke my thermostat sensor and didn't call me or tell till i picked up the car. Then charged 445 dollars for a voltage meter regulator aka battery gauge. Had to take the car again to fix the problem. Kept my car for a week and didn't fix the issue. Jb weleded my thermostat sensor back together like glue. U call that quality work. Still waiting for him to call me to tell me the part came he ordered on Amazon.... stay away if you have a classic car. Don't bring it here.

This is the place to go if you need car diagnostic/repair in North Orange county.Under new ownership, Scotty is honest,reliable and has the customers best interest at heart. I have been a customer for several years and have worked in the Automotive industry for the last 32 years.Scotty at Kindred automotive is the only person who works on my 4 cars.

Mike and his employees are honest and trustworthy. They will do their best to fix your car when you walk in without an appointment. Though making an appointment is appreciated. Mr Shultz Terry and Scott have been here at thia location for many years. MR Shultz is the kindest caring mechanic youll ever meet. So ladies, you have my word they will not tell you something is wrong and needs to be fixed unless it does. His prices are slightly higher but my opinion the cost is worth the comfort of not being ripped off. He constantly giving back to family friends and community.

I took my old Volvo 240 into this mechanics shop, for one thing.. To find me a part. I told him many times that I don't want him to work on my car, change anything, or waste his labor. I left the car over night, because he had to get a Vin # for the part, but he failed. Failed in many things. 1) He didn't find me my part I NEEDED. 2) He did not call me to get authorization before working on my car. 3) He charged me for the hoses he replaced and for an hour and a half of labor. I understand this is how Mike makes a living, so I paid. But will I bring my car back? Absolutely not. Any good mechanic calls the customer to get authorization before doing anything to the car. I could've not had the $180 I had to pay.

Horrible the guy ripped me off and possibly ruined my car. I had to be coming back 3 times for the same job. At the end I just gave up. He put the wrong parts on one occasion and a bad cheap knockoff on the other.
