BEWARE !Do not do business with this company!After I had spent over $14,000 at one of their auctions, they stole over $300 from me. I contacted the company to resolve the issue, but they informed me that they were keeping the stolen funds.UPDATE:You'll notice how the company hasn't responded to my review like they have the other ones. That because they are aware of what happened, and do not want to deal with it. Most of the recent 5 star ratings are from sellers, so good for them. I'm sure West Auctions treats their clients, the sellers, very well, as it (West Auctions) is a liquidation company first and foremost. However, if you are only a bidder (in other words, someone who isn't also selling items), West Auctions may not treat you well. The best part is, after I gave them $14,000 for items I won at one of their auctions (I won over half of the lots), I never even received a thank you. Great customer relations... NOT. It's also not a very good business approach. Since my bad experience with West Auctions, I have spent over $53,000 with other auction companies, so that's money that West Auctions missed out on. Also, I still have tens of thousands of dollars sent aside for purchasing a couple used vehicles. West Auctions auctions off vehicles, but due to the poor treatment I received from them, again, they will miss out on that money. If you are a seller, and you are treated badly by West Auctions, I would be surprised, because you are their "bread and butter." If you are a bidder, and you get burned, don't be surprised. AND, don't say I didn't warn you...

Horrible customer service, after as much money as I spent with West auctions you would think they would be a little more hospitable towards me. NOPE!!Items listed by sellers as new & in sealed box ARE NOT NEW BUT USED AND MISSING PIECES. Watch what you purchase, might not be as described. What you see online changes as West Auctions seems fit to change, like pick up dates and times.I purchased 2 different items I was informed by seller upon bidding as brand new never opened, but upon opening items, pieces were missing and items were well used even though they were in a sealed box on both items. Tried to call West Auctions only to get the blame placed on me for not opening the item in the rain and checking the items before leaving. Buyer beware! YOU BEEN WARNED.AFTER POSTING THIS REVIEW MY ACCOUNT WAS BLOCKED AND I'M NOW BANNED FROM PARTICIPATING IN WEST AUCTIONS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED THEY ARE ANOTHER SHADY AUCTION COMPANY!!!

Recently purchased significant pieces of brewery equipment at one of their auctions in Northern California, and am very happy with how West Auctions conducted the whole affair. The office staff was very helpful to get us setup ahead of time, and everything was very organized and clear, easy to navigate the process and understand the contract/fine print. Our in-person inspections of equipment went very well, and Craig and his staff were very accommodating of our extended and thorough time spent there assessing everything. After the auction, they were also very professional and straight-forward during the disassembly and removals time period when we had our crew in there working to get our pieces ready to load onto trucks. They assisted as-needed, and the interactions were very competent and timely. Overall, very happy with the experience, and will absolutely do business with them again. highly recommended!

West Auctions is a great auction house to work with. For years we have bought from and sold on their site. Jotham King is always incredibly professional, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Anytime we call their office, the staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. They auction off a wide variety of items all the time and it's always fun to see what's new on their site. We highly recommend West Auctions if you're looking for a good deal or if you are wanting to liquidate your stuff.

Total scam. Some items say need repairs so you think everything else works. Wrong. The company also bids you up so there are no deals here. Local online auctions or barnone auctions are way better. The guys that actually are at the site are total morons. They are just zombies staring at there phones.

West Auctions has been supplying my company with with tools and equipment we use everyday. Bidding process is easy and straightforward. The removal/pickup has always been a breeze for one of our employees to go pickup. Friendly customer service over the phone and in person. I ve met Craig at the inspections and removals a few times, very helpful with insight to products and any questions. They re always the first place we go to for what we need. Looking forward to their next auction!

They advertise their auctions as having no reserve. That is not true. They just withdrew many items in the middle of the bidding, some of which I was high bidder on. I called them to find out what was going on and they said they were just about to email me. They said they had withdrawn one lot that I was high bidder on. That was not true I said it was more than that then they admitted they had withdrawn two lots I was high bidder on. I said that s not correct either. They never sent any email documenting that they had withdrawn those lots but I have screenshots to prove it. They claimed that they were withdrawn because the seller no longer had those items. That was not true either because when I went to pick up the items that I did get in that auction the withdrawn items were still on the seller s property and I have photographs to prove it. As a matter fact they were sitting right outside in plain view. This auction did not allow for previews so we were not allowed to go in the building when we pick up either so I guess they didn t anticipate that the seller would ve stuck them outside in plain sight when the West Auctions claimed the seller no longer had the items. I explained to them that they should not have withdrawn them from the auction just because the seller wanted them to. The seller signed a contract to consign the lots which they could hold them to. Because this was PG&E and a repeat customer they decided they didn t want to piss them off. I ll be taking my legal remedies since West Auctions has not bothered to respond at all to my email about this. It s false advertising to advertise a no reserve auction and then pull items in the middle of the auction after the bidding has begun on the items you re pulling. I don t know if they got a really big offer from one of the buyers who appeared to be in Saudi Arabia that was so big they were willing to pull the items from the auction or if PG&E just changed their mind And decided to keep the items but regardless for them to represent that the seller no longer had those items was false and may be fraud. Either way it s a violation of the stipulations that it s a no reserve auction. I think they are guilty of tortious interference with a contract (Texaco vs Pennzoil) and I ll be holding them all accountable.

I used West Auctions recently and just want to commend them for the stellar experience! Craig especially was nothing but extremely helpful on getting our piece of equipment we won onto a truck and out to us. Great customer service and support. I would definitely recommend to use them in the future.

We have been using West Auctions for a number of years to sell off our overruns and discount block. Jotham, Jaime, and their team have been extremally helpful and professional in managing our auctions. They have an app which has made setup of our auction very easy which is convenient when you have large amounts of product. We look forward to using them in the future.

I have been dealing with this auction company for several years and spent over 25k with them . Today I received a call from one of their employees and was told my items were at their office in woodland . After arriving at their office the heavyset girl that works the front desk was not only rude , but she informed me that the phones were actually in Pleasanton , and one was locked , making it useless . Nope , no deal here , you keep your worthless phone and have a nice day . I won t be dealing with west auctions ever again!

We were very impressed with West Auctions professionalism and execution of our surplus sale in June 2021. Their marketing worked exceptionally well as the auction was widely attended and nearly everything listed sold. We recommend contacting West Auctions should the need arise to either move unneeded items or do a complete liquidation.

West Auctions treated us like royalty. Stacy walked us through what could have been a very painful process, closing a longtime family business and liquidating old tools and equipment that turned out to be of value to people and businesses we could never have reached, but West Auctions did reach them and there was a surprisingly active bidding process. They managed the auction details smoothly from beginning to end. We couldn't help noticing that some of the folks who follow auctions as a lifestyle are not at all easy to please, and some are downright cantankerous--maybe just the nature of that market--but they were treated with respect. Our professional experience with West Auctions was excellent, and we highly recommend them.

As a seller, I was impressed with the software interface that West Auctions gave me to manage my auction. Customer service and staff members were outstanding. The auction was a success and I'd use them again!

West Auctions is one of the best online Auction Companies I have bought items from. They reallydo a good job of helping you out throughout the whole process. BEWARE!!Dennis West was deceptive and misleading. He was a good-ole boy until after I signed the contract to sell my items. After the auction began he backpedaled on his projections and became an instant smart-mouth. My guess it that he has few return sellers that deal with him directly. He has the I'm God attitude (until after you sign the contract) and can give a dam about you or weather you make any money or break even, as long as he makes his $3,500.00+ 13% for less than 3-days work. Look at the real percentages, He gets 39%, and I got the shaft. He would not be reasonable or open to any compromise. Its his way or the Highway!I had planned on three auctions in a row, but after the first auction and his rude insulting attitude, I will be using another auction company. Its a shame, as I enjoyed working with his office staff and field personal, they are first rate, considerate and helpful. Its to bad they have to deal the problems he creates.

DO NOT USE THESE GUY'S SOONER OR LATER THEY WILL SCREW YOU !After reviewing the photos of Lot#0J130 it is apparent that your crew damaged the roof moving it from the small yard to the larger one.Your employee should have advised me of this, i would not have accepted it with this damage devalues the trailer a lot, This damage devalues this trailer by a couple of thousand dollars easy...Since your employee has basically said I'm lying and tuff thats the way it is. They sell broken junk to fools who will buy online without looking at it. I have previewed their auctions and saw broken junk for sale, the discription online did not say that the items were broken. things sell for more that they are worth to unsuspecting fools. never buy anything without looking at it in person. I am not saying everthing they sell is crap, but inspect anything before buying it. Many auctioneers prey on people buying online without inspecting in person. Don't be a fool
