best mechanic shop in town! fast service and will work with your insurance company! they handled replacing my moms fuel tank that was punctured. dropped off on a Friday afternoon before closing they got the parts ordered rite away and it was done Monday! Richard and his team will make sure your vehicle is in good hands! thanks to Larissa and Esme as well!

Had my car towed to Mater-Tech (not starting) The towing company suggested them from his past experience and I am so grateful for that. GREAT company and super polite staff.They were very honest and fast. I will use them in the future for sure.Service: Electrical repair

UPDATE:After posting this review I was contacted by Richard, one of the owners of Master-Tech, who very politely apologized for the experience and explained an issue with the phone/messaging system as to why I never received a call back. After talking with him on the phone, we came to a satisfactory agreement that I would give MT another chance with the hope that I would have a better experience. When that time comes, I will update my review accordingly but until then, I appreciate Richard's phone call and the courtesy he extended me.I went in for an oil change a few days before Thanksgiving of this year because not only did they have one opening that morning, but they were also reasonably priced. I went in and right away, the woman at the counter wasn't very friendly and hearing one of the technicians complain to her about doing oil changes in front of customers was a bit concerning but my main concern was my oil change. About 30 minutes later, they called me to let me know my car was ready and I left. As I was driving home, I heard this loud scraping metal sound coming from my car. Knowing this wasn't there before the oil change, I drove it back to Master-Tech only to find that they had closed early and wouldn't be open again until a few days after Thanksgiving. I tried calling numerous times in hopes of reaching one of the technicians so that they could check my car to see what that loud noise was. Nobody was there, so I left a message asking them to please give me a call so that they could look at my car and help diagnose the problem since it was only present after I received the oil change. With that, I drove it to US Oil Changers & Repairs on Lincoln Avenue to see if they could find the source of the noise. They had asked if Master-Tech overfilled the oil since someone earlier came to them with that issue that MT had caused. The team there wasted no time at all in getting underneath the car to check it out and found that my oil pan cover was not properly attached after the oil change and was left hanging which explains the metal scraping since it was dragging on the ground. US Oil would not accept payment for helping me get this issue fixed and just requested that I come to them for my future oil changes on my vehicles to which I happily said yes to. It has been over a month since I left that voicemail message with Master-Tech and they still haven't called me back to check on the issue or offer an apology. There have been no issues with my car, so I assume the actual oil change went fine but as far as customer service and making sure that the work is properly wrapped up, Master-Tech failed. I thought I had found a low-priced shop to get my oil changes done but when it comes to this place, you definitely get what you pay for and I won't be back.

Lovely, Welcoming and Friendly Employees. I am extremely happy with the service, smile and hospitality of the working people.It is my second visit here.The first time I had issues with the lights on my car. I went so many places and got diagnosed. Everywhere I visited I was told different problems of that single issues with light and it could be more expensive than I expected. However eventually when I went Master Tech, they just took five minutes to diagnose and fixed it very quick. It was only 6 bucks. I can t compare the service they had given to only $6, but it was 6 million of smiles, politeness, hospitality and services.Secondly I visited today with an issue of air pressure but technically I was not well known about what happened to my car. Even the employees are busy, Manager told employe to spare couple of minutes to diagnose and fixed it for free. I am writing this review not because I got my car issues got free, but the friendly ,home environment and greater service, I don t think I can get anywhere. Keep it up.

Given the many positive reviews, I have to believe the people here know what they are doing. I do question their integrity, especially when working with people who have limited car knowledge (such as myself).We paid $700 for a transmission diagnostic and recommended repairs (transmission mounts, an axel seal, and oil change). One week following the repairs, the transmission had more issues than I originally took the car in for. My husband left a message expressing concerns regarding the repair, but we never heard back which was disappointing.The transmission mounts seem to be holding up. However, the car is now being serviced by the dealer, who is sending pictures and videos of an axel leak which is the primary source of the issues the car is having. The axel that is leaking is the same one that master-tech reportedly repaired.Update:*DECEMBER 2022*I feel confident that Master-tech made things right with me today :) They reimbursed me for the transmission related work that I needed to have re-done, and they did so without question, and quickly.I was informed today that the voicemail mishap was likely due to a change over of phone systems, and they were very apologetic for the missed/ unreturned call. Understandable, for sure.I am thankful for the integrity that was shown to today, and do I apologize for my initial assumptions, which were heated and do not reflect what I experienced today in working with the team.Thanks for making it right!

The office staff is amazing, super friendly and thorough. The Mechanics DO NOT MISS! they do amazing work and are very helpful and thorough themselves. Go to Master-Tech if you want to pay for a great experience and an impeccable job well done. I couldn't be happier with the new engine and alternator they put in my car.

I had always went here but Never again. This last Thursday my car was towed over for bad breaks they fixed the rear side Only. I called at 830am to let them know the girl who'd initially answered was borederline rude but the real problem is when I got the car back the entire front side of my crv was lowered suspension must've been replaced and they definitely messed with the front side of it switched out the parts It was confirmed by someone who does know about cars since I don't. Impossible to have deteriorated and downright shrunk in size when my car was all stock! I cannot prove bc as clients we come in trusting a legitimate business to be ethical but they just gaslit saying they didn't touch it of course if they hold themselves accountable they'll have to admit someone replaced with older parts! The car feels and sounds like a rusty old truck on even a straight road now. Thanks guys for taking advantage of your customers bc you can (probably even more so being a woman).Service: Brakes

Called at 9:30am on 11/12/20 to make an appointment to have my brakes checked as there was screeching sound from the car's rear left tire when I applied the brakes. Richard asked if I could bring in the car at 10am that day. Checked in and 40 minutes later they had checked the brakes, cleaned them and found nothing wrong, No charge and the screeching sound was gone. It was a wonderful experience and would recommend them to anyone needing automotive work.Service: Brakes

Bought a used murrano from a car lot in Woodland, and you know that saying if it sounds to good to be true it IS...it was a great price but I've have spent more money fixing it then I bought it for.. towed 8 times since I bought it a year ago. My mechanic was my brother but he passed away and I don't trust anyone when it comes to cars.I've been referred to several shops and they either "Fix it" or don't know what the problem is. Master tech is the 3rd shop so I'm crossing my fingers hoping "the 3rd time is a charm "

I had a wheel bearing fail while I was traveling back to Oregon from Los Angeles, stopped in Woodland to look for a mechanic that deals with Japanese vehicles. Master Tech came up and the reviews were decent so I gave them a call. They were able to get it on the lift and checked out within an hour, diagnosed the problem , and gave me a fair price for the repairs. They also arranged a rental car for me and got me a 10% discount on that. When I came back down to pick up my car, it was ready and the price was $200 less than the estimate because some of the parts that they were expecting to have to replace were actually fine.Being in that kind of situation, I honestly expected to pay a premium price to get it taken care of in such short time, but Master Tech did not do that. They are honest, professional, and have great customer service. I am thankful for their help in a difficult time.

Low stress family owned and operated service shop. Extremely courteous, professional and communicative. Very much worth your while to drive out of the way to get your maintenance done here. Original chosen garage for repair did not have any room for tow service to drop off car -- until the following week. Master Tech was contacted and was asked if they had space for a towed car and repair service available. Receptionist told me they would move cars around to make room for my tow. I received repaired car one day ago. Thank you Master Tech. Have been sharing with others about the good experience and service from Master Tech.

I am incredibly happy with the service I have received from Master-Tech and their knowledgable staff. If you are looking for someone to care for your vehicle that actually understands motors as opposed to techs who are just trained to read back a diagnostic tool interpretation I would highly suggest Master-Tech. Not only are they staffed with actual mechanics that know how to professionally and accurately inspect and find the issues with vehicle problems but are also knowledgable with warranty coverages. In addition to this, they listen to the customer and treat them with respect. I would recommend this business to anyone experiencing issues with their vehicle.

My engine quit on my 92 Accord without warning while I was on my way North from the Bay Area, luckily I was close to these guys. Even though it was a Saturday, they were more than willing to take my car into the shop as soon as it was towed and do anything they could to get me back on the road. I really didn't expect my car to be fixed in a matter of hours but they did it. What really set them apart for my situation, is that their mechanics are skilled and efficient at troubleshooting and worked together to find and isolate the issue to a failed component. They were also working on cars much newer and more complicated than mine and still troubleshooting accurately. The manager was good about updating me and the other customers in the waiting area about what the mechanics were trying and what they found. If you're in their area and your car breaks down, I would highly recommend giving them a call.

Came to the shop at 11:40 am to askedfor a simple 10 min quote for my full vehicle tune up. The lady at the front took a picture of my vin number told me that they would call me back. She said that they have my phone number on their computer.Now its12: 40pm, never receive a phone call back. I called them back asked about my quote and they told me they don't have my quote or my phone number record. I gave my phone number and said they will call me back. Now its 5:34 pm (closing time) and still didn't got my quote. they said they are so busy. I asked to speak to the store owner ricard or peter ?? the lady said he's not there and suddenly he is there and now he talked to me and got my quote. I went to 8 different auto shops and got my quote less then 10 mins. I would never do business with them again.

I have got to thank Master Tech for the amazing job they did on our car. They truly went above and beyond what a mechanics shop has to do. We were on our way home from Lake Shasta to Southern CA when it just failed! The auto shop at Walmart referred us to Master Tech and they were so helpful! Not only did they diagnose exactly what was wrong they ordered the parts right away and were very thorough in fixing the car. We didn't have a single problem going home. On top of the great mechanics they also helped us look for a hotel to stay in the area and dropped us off and picked us up. I sincerely wish we had a Master Tech in Southern CA because they would be my ONLY mechanics ever! Thanks again for a phenomenal job.

Master Tech never tries to up sale me anything. I never feel like my lack of knowledge is being taken advantage of, my vehicles are well maintained. I highly recommend Master Tech, professionals with integrity.
