Had a new set of tires put on, that took almost 3 hours. I was told between 60-90 minutes. I would not have minded waiting the hours, if they would have been clear at the beginning. I would have made other arrangements to get my things done that day, but I assumed it was only going to take the 60-90 minutes they originally told me. They didn't even take my car into the garage for the first 60 minutes.The work was done well, as expected. I don't have a problem with the quality of work. It was just the expected time that was the issue.

The Woodland Hills Pep Boys Auto on Fallbrook Avenue service went over and beyond my expectations I actually called this location about three times and spoke to the representative Luis to get an estimate on something very simple an oil change he was knowledgeable professional and did not get annoyed with my questions or how many times I called. The service on my car done by Moses was very accurate they also did a courtesy report of some repairs that I needed I was not expecting this level of service while checking out I female representative Lolli answered all of my concerns about the extra cost and repairs my vehicle needed and their level of importance. The cost of everything was very reasonable and fair. Before leaving this Woodland Hills Pep Boys location I had an issue with my cars dashboard being in the red and needed to be reset a different mechanic Joe stopped what he was doing to help me he got into my car and make sure that my car no longer had that red indicator light on the dashboard. Overall my experience at the Woodland Hills Pep Boys location was outstanding I will most definitely recommend family and friends come to this location.

The crew at the West Hills Pep Boys was amazing. My battery was completely dead and they took me in right away and replaced it in less than 30 mins. Everyone was super sweet and helpful and the process was made so easy. Highly recommend.

Andy, my Woodland Hills Pep Boy's Manager, made my auto repairs painless and actually pleasant. I brought my SUV in on a Sunday at 11:00 am and had it back by 2:30 pm the same day. The Dealer could not get me in for 3 days and then wanted a full day. This was my 4th or 5th experience with Andy's Pep Boy's - and it has always been a good experience. They over-deliver. Andy is a super communicator.

I always receive great service ar PepBoys on fall brook. Loli was extremely nice and helped me choose the right oil. She also gave me advice on things to look out for. Everything was clean. I sat while I got my services done, enjoyed the music and they were really fast. They re my go to place for car maintenance. And they always offer coupons. So I save a ton of money.

I went in as my breaks and pads were replaced 5 months ago but they were making a noise. they didnt accept walk ins so i booked an appointment for 1pm the next day.I went in as was greeted by an angry not nice lady. her name was natalie. first she said its going to take long as we are over booked. then i explained my situation as i got off work early and i had to pick up my daughter so i had only 2 hour window to get this warranty work done. she still argued with me and mentioned it will take 4-5 hours to just get it in!!! she was very rude and i hope no one has to deal with her again.Then natalie tried to say the break and pads are not under warranty; after speaking to the manager the waranty work was indeed correct and approved.long story short, it took them 3:15 hours for a small break warranty work to be done.watch out and dont speak to natalie at that branch!!i wont be going back at all

Slow, dishonest service.Made appointment to install new tires. Showed up on time. Learned that "appointment" at PepBoys means "2-3 hour wait". That is despite no line, one customer in the office, at least 3 technicians, and mostly empty service bays.Besides tire installation, the work order included $40 in parts for four TPMS service kits (those cost about $2 each) plus $4 labor to install them.I left to run errands for 2 hours, came back to find the vehicle on the lift with wheels taken off and no one nearby. Work began as soon as PepBoys staff noticed me.It took about 40 minutes to replace 4 tires. I drove the vehicle back home, looked at the tires, noticed that broken valve cap was put back on (see picture). I expected to see brand new valve caps because they come with TPMS service kits. Further inspection revealed that no one touched TPMS -- the stem nuts (also included in TPMS service kits) were covered in a uniform layer of dirt.(Pro tip for dishonest car mechanics: wipe the dirt off the stems, it makes them look like they had been worked on).Called the shop. The shop said "technician said that they installed TPMS kits today, but did not remember if they installed them on my wheels). By the way, at most 20 minutes passed since the installation, and at most 3 vehicles were serviced in the last 3 hours. What a short memory.The shop then offered a refund, for which I had to drive back. In the end, I was refunded $40, but they still kept $4 for the labor to install those TPMS. I thought about calling again, but driving back was not worth it, plus seeing embarrassed people in the office was well worth $4.I am seriously concerned about the well-being of people at that location, they keep forgetting things all the time.Also, new tires were over-inflated by ~10psi. Someone must have forgotten the right pressure value on their way from the computer to the car.PepBoys review bot -- no need for a boilerplate response.

Unprofessional. Made an appointment two days in advanced for an oil change for Friday 11/10 after work since it was listed on their website. They called me the day of stating they couldn't provide the service because they close at 6 and asked if I can go in earlier. Then why is it listed on the website? Just gave the impression they want to start their weekend early.

My car's windshield shade band was damaged. Seems like they wanted to replace the courtesy next service due date sticker and pealed off the the film in the process. What really bothered me was the fact that they thought I wouldn't notice it! I found that insulting to my intelligence and disrespectful to my property.Update: so, I got a call from the pep boys location manager to talk my car back to the shop for inspection. I was also asked why I left a review and that next time I should call and talk to him (next time?! Is it going to happen again?) I took my car to pep boys for his inspection and then I was told to find a window tinting shop, have the windshield tinting fixed, go back to pep boys again with the invoice to be reimbursed, and do it ASAP too. Now how much time I have to waste was not the pep boys manager concern. He didn t offer any apologies instead, he acted like yeah we messed up but no big deal, you have to deal with it yourself ASAP!

So as I left the parking lot the check engine light came back on. For the exact same issue that they fixed for 1000 bucks.Update 9/19/2023: They took it in again and fixed it for free and now it's running fine.

Scheduled a 9am appointment for an oil change 2 hours later my car was still in the same spot, people came in after me just walking in and was done before me. There is no point in making an appointment if it takes 2 hours to be seen and another hour to perform the oil change. Went to a place 5 mins away no appointment and was in and out 30 mins and saved $30.

Flawless oil change service. The only problem I am aware of is that the website doesn't show the appointment schedule correctly that needs to be fixed. This is a known issue. I called them to schedule an appointment.

About a year ago, I took my car here to check for problems with the starter. I was asked to pay a hundred dollars for a five-dollar fuse change. A few hours later, my car got into trouble again. I got back to fix problem and they said you need to pa 1200 dollar to change filpump I objected between I got my car back , the back seat was completely broken and they did not accept any responsibility without repairing the seat and they did not give me any answer for almost a a year, They stealing your money and do not accept responsibility

It was speechless. $20 and 30min waiting for that...I got a nail stock in my tire and since I was near by I decided to get my tire fix at this place. It was my first time and I didn t like it.My wheels has lock system and I was waiting for the mechanic to ask me for a key to get the wheels out, but he didn t. I was confused at first, and after I waited for 30 minutes-ish they said it was done and asked for $19.99.I thought it was worth it and checked out and I found out that all they did was this! (on the photo)If they were gonna do this, I could of done it on my own! I thought they would patch it inside the wheel, not like this... for the experience, the air will still come out after few days... this fixing style is just temporary fix. I was shocked. Never again... what a lack of skills. Very disappointed.

I was a little reluctant to visit Pep Boys, after a not-so-positive experience I had a few years ago at said store. I decided to give Pep Boys another try and I'm glad I did. The employee working the cash register, was very kind and patient as I explained the problem with my daughter's car. He gave me honest answers, and reassured me that the task would take no longer than 90 minutes.Surprisingly, the job was completed in 75 minutes! The price was fair, and the gentleman behind the counter was just that - an absolute gentleman.10 stars!

Repulsive customer service. I'm one of many that have had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with these hooligans. I got there for an appointment and the mechanic Robert barked at me to go inside for my appointment. He was seething with anger and ignored me when I asked him where to go. I then confronted him asking him why he had to yell at me and he walked away mid conversation. What a horrible human being.Robert is repulsive and his manager Luis is worse for condoning this kind of behavior. Apparently, it's not their first rodeo based on the review. I'm contacting Corporate about this and I'm making sure everyone I know never sets foot here again.

Really happy with the Woodland Hills location on Fallbrook.Had a 10 AM appointment and was out by 11:30 for a brake job. I tried to go cheap on it and they explained the safety issues I would have and work with me and my budget to get me safely on the road. Thanks guys!!!
