Had to bring my car in because it wouldn t pass SMOG so I brought my car into Sierra Automotive. The owners, Mary and Eron were very friendly. My car had a lot of problems so I really appreciated the time and energy that their mechanic, Gene, put into it. They had my car a few weeks but I know it was a headache and Gene was so patient and wouldn t give up on my car. Thanks to a lot of the workers there, even Jason who worked the front desk. Everyone was very nice. I have a big hug to Gene for fixing my car and passing SMOG, you re the best and thanks for taking the time to talk to my husband and I when it came to giving us information on the car and being honest about everything. Highly recommend you guys and will use in the future

They quoted me a price on the phone, for a 2 hr brake job and made an appt for 9am on Thursday. I arrived and they only had 1/2 the parts, he told me it would be more than 4 hours and I'd have to bring it back the next day for the other half if they get the other parts. Then asked me to sign an authorization to work on my car, with an extra $300 added from original quote. I made him shred the form and I left the office with no work done and no future appointment.

I've been here 3 times now and every time I was treated great. Twice for smog check and another time had both front ball joints replaced. I'm a SWF and they did NOT take advantage of me at all, ( my first hubby was a mechanic, ). This is a small community mountain town, highly recommend Sierra Automotive, in Wofford Heights.

Today I took my truck to Sierra Automotive for a smog check. I pulled in and asked the guy standing outside in a mechanics uniform where he would like me to park, he said there's all kinds of spots, I said ok, I was just checking cause I've never been there before. I park my truck and he says with a rude attitude that I can't just leave the truck, I need to check into the office. I had not even gotten a chance to get out yet. I asked him where the office was and he yelled at me that can't I see the big sign??? Obviously I couldn't or didn't and that's why I was asking. Not to mention the sign is not large and it's faded. That guy was soooooo freaking rude and aggressive that I just walked into the office, canceled the appointment and went to another business. He really emphasized with his attitude and tone that I was an annoyance. Not a good way to gain or maintain customers!

I went there for a smog check and the guy with the cane said I had modified my vehicle because he misinterpreted the diagram. I had not modified my vehicle and had to go to another place (Trumans) who got it done.

Great experience. Had to get a smog cert. Savanah was very sweet. Made the time go by fast. And the mechanic was efficient and very nice! Will definitely recommend Sierra Automotive!

Went in for a smog check. I changed the battery one week prior. The computer had not reset the inner monitors. At smoggies in oildale that guy hooks up obd2 and checks. If not working he tells you how to fix.They did not do this procedure here at Sierra automotive. I feel ripped off. Paid $40 for nothing. They don't retest for half price or free. I'm never going back. RIP OFF! I wish they had 3 negative stars.

I needed to obtain a smog certificate for my SS Camaro. I made an appointment to bring my car in. I was very pleased that they were right on time too. The appointment went well and I was on my way in no time!

This place is amazing they go above and beyond for you and your vehicle. They are absolutely freaking amazing. Highly recommend for everything!!! Thank you so much for helping us and treating us amazingly. Everyone is so friendly from the inside office to the mechanic that does the smog.

You erased it again. I went in person today and spoke with a kid who looks like he was still wet behind his ears then he spoke and i knew not only wet he was drenched behind his ears. He went on to tell me how it needed all those parts because of all the neglect. my niece's husband is a certified emotion technician and told me they should have smog checked the engine after changing vital smog production parts. The kid didn't change the silencer that had a lot of holes and didn't tell the owner he would need a new one to pass smog......no time to go on. I will continue tomorrow sorry

Extensive front end work on my 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 Cummins Diesel. Turned in to a huge job, as so many issues with previous faulty mechanic work done by someone else. Sierra Automotive came through, professional all the way. They back their work 100%. They were always straight forward and honest with their estimates. Highly recommend!

Got my clutch replaced in my Subaru. Was quoted for it to take several days and in 24 hours it was done and it s working great! Thanks Sierra automotive for a job well done!

They're pricey. I took my car in for 1 reason they jacked up Y I took it in. Then fixed another thing but way over charged. I called to no phone call back. I had to pay another mechanic to fix what they jacked up. Don't take ur car there unless it's something expensive. Because they don't fix simple things.

I stopped by here on a road trip April 2019 with what I thought was a leaky valve stem on my wheel. With no appointment, Richard was assigned to my vehicle and immediately got to work. He was knowledgable and experienced and promptly swapped my valve stem, and upon further inspection he found a tiny crack in my rim that was the cause of my issue. If he hadnt found it I would have drove off only to get another flat who knows where. He then willingly retrieved my spare and put that on instead and had the 2 office people start a search for a new rim for me. Dealer rim was over priced so I spent the weekend camping with my spare installed. On monday we headed back to Utah and I again went to Sierra Auto with no appointment and again Richard greeted me with a smile and immediately asked what I needed, which was to swap the spare back to the road wheel, and I was going to make the drive with a portable air compressor in my vehicle. Richard not only swapped the wheel but he also took time to remove the tire from the rim and silicone the inside and outside of the rim, which dramatically slowed down the rate at which the wheel was leaking air. Again, with no appointment! And no charge!! Thank you so much! The wheel didnt leak again for about 4 or 5 hours, and even held air for several days at one point after being siliconed. I made it home and was able to replace the rim for much cheaper here. Thanks again Richard and Sierra Auto for great service!

Took in my1989 Isuzu trooper to get smoged and get the idel adj.up.it was about2 o clock got it back about 2 30 the next day. when I took it in I had never had any problems.! When I got it back the two bolts to the starter where both hafe way out!! It needed three quarters of oil witch I just did a oil change before I took it in for smog.so with the starter tight and oil back to full I started it.off too town I go. 8 miles just to find water running all over the ground when I stopped .now what I will be taking it to transend auto on Wednesday and over change $184.00 ouch that hurts never go there .

Took over 2 weeks to get part for my car. Was told by others that this is typical,, very slow...Previously I got car slogged that was a good experience. So I guess it may be "proceed with caution!"

300 $ to replace spark plugs I just put in as a way to say they fixed the check engine light for misfiring DID NON OF THE DIAGNOSTICS REQUIRES JUST CHAMGED EVERYTHING ELECTRICAL AND CHARGED ME 1200 IN LABOR DROVE IT HOME LIGHT CANE ON STILL MISFIRES TOTAL 3800 owner is mary defended only man cuz he has 40 years experience..psh yeah of ripping people off no way its 200 in labor for spark plugs I didnt say replace...dont go here

Incredible service!!! Brought in a boat trailer with bad brake cylinders and they did their magic and stayed late to satisfy my schedule. Great customer service!
