Searched for a local smog check location before leaving home. Saw the reviews on here, Google, and Yahoo! and decided this was going to be the best place to do business with. Drove on over and turned down "automotive alley" ... found them right on the end in a single bay. Parked out back and walked in the shop.They only do one thing here and that's a smog check. They even offer a FREE re-test if you don't pass. They don't try to sell you an mechanical services, so they really have no reason to lie about anything. Only one person was ahead of me, but I was hooked up and out of there in 25 minutes.No nonsense, just plain honest, good service and cheap. With the $10 off coupon you can find on their website, my test was only $40 out the door. They even electronically submit your test results to DMV! Hard to believe, so I drove by AAA on the way home and had my stickers in hand!Service: Smog certification

2011 BMW 335i - needed certification (star station). Quick and easy, straight forward process, no run-arounds. Opens Saturdays and Sundays for your convenience. One of the worst smog check places, especially Eddie's behavior. He is extremely rude and unprofessional, he gives you a long list of repairs your car needs and will charge you for smog without completing the job, don't go to this location for a smog check.

Fast and courteous. Passed and painless. No wait, might have been an issue is there was a wait, the parking lot isn't that big and shared with other businesses. A waiting room with interesting signs and license plates from all over. A pleasant distraction during the few minutes it takes to test your car. Contactless payment if you like, SquareUp rules.Overall great experience and will go back with my other car.

I am fairly new to the area and had no idea where to take my car for a smog so I turned to yelp and google reviews and found Winnetka Smog. I called in this morning to ask if an appointment was necessary or if walk-ins were welcomed and the gentleman informed me that either worked fine but that an appointment was encouraged. I was able to book an appointment within 30 minutes of calling. The entire service took at most 10 minutes from the time I arrived to the time I left. The service was not only prompt and speedy, but friendly and economical ($40 in comparison to other places that charge $50+). The reviews don't lie! This is really a 5 star establishment.

In February 2021, I used Winnetka Smog to get my smog certificate for my 2005 Toyota Camry. I paid only $40 total and he sent it electronically. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Easy, done. Moved out of canoga park area but still drive 20miles just to get my smog here. My vehicle is diesel and some shops try to pull a fast one and charge more but these guys been giving me a great price and quality, top and fair services since day one.

Easy peasy way of getting your car smog checked. I was about done looking at all the old license plates display hanging on the wall and tech hand me over my paperwork. Place is super clean and big space for smog test station. Paid $45 for 2014 Toyota

I just showed up without any kind of appointment, and Eddie was very friendly and helpful. He sent the smog test results to the dmv electronically. I was in and out of there in like 15-20 mins. The shop is very clean and even had dedicated parking just for the smog. Will be back in 2 years for the next smog check!Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification

Previously at Saticoy, they have now move to Winnetka. Its a SMOG TEST only station but also provide services such as brakes and lamp adjustment. Service is fast and efficient. Do call ahead if you want other services except smog test.

It did not take very long to wait and their price is cheap for smog test and they did their good job inspecting my car and passed DMV smog test. Rah!
