Tony is the best!!! He's honest, he does great work, and he will explain everything he does and show you what was broken. I've gone to him a few times with different vehicles and he's always gotten back to me quickly and been very fair with pricing.

I finally got a chance to buy an S2000 about six years ago. This car was my dream car when I was a kid after seeing the movie Heartbreakers with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sigourney Weaver. To say I love this car is an understatement. It s my daily driver, has almost 122k miles, and always put a smile on my face when I drive it, and I was driving 12k miles/year at my peak.I digress. When I got my S2000, I bought it from the original owner who had kept all the service records. Because she wasn t a gearhead, the car was maintained but not like it should have been. As a result, though it was running decently, the car wasn t running 100% healthy. I took my car to Tony about a year ago to get an oil change after having used my personal mechanicfor the last 5 years, and this man had the audacity to list out all the problems with my car: low compression in cylinder 3; bad driver-side rear wheel bearing; rusted radiator; worn clutch (if you see your clutch is really firm and your master clutch cylinder leaking, that s a sign your clutch is going out I learned you should be able to push your clutch in with a finger and no effort); among a slew of other issues. After coming to terms that these repairs were inevitable, I took my car into Tony for that beautiful, expensive service that I was dreading.Tony is an honest mechanic. I know a lot about cars as I ve worked on cars myself, and I ve had mechanics I ve loved and those I ve disliked, and I can confidently say Tony is one of the best. First, the guy doesn t take tips which ordinarily doesn t matter, but it s bad when the man does so much work for free that he should ordinarily charge for but doesn t as it s part of the job. For instance, he coated my brake calipers with a clearcoat, so they don t rust, and he brushed the hubs of rust before mounting the new brake discs. These are things the typical mechanics don t do because they only go through the motions. Tony does it all with a smile on his face.I got my car back yesterday and I cannot even describe what it s like to drive. It s like a whole new car. With the ACT flywheel, this car drops revs like a monster, and I suddenly have to slam into gear just to keep up with the tach. The power delivery is buttery smooth after fixing the compression leak. My car actually feels quicker, just like Tony said, which is crazy to me after I felt like the car was running so well for so long. The clutch is smooth, and my car starts right up without so much of a hiccup after 6 years of iffy starts and grinding my starter based on the ambient temperature.I cannot recommend Tony enough if you have a Honda, and especially if you have an S2K or NSX. Thank you, Tony! Had the pleasure of meeting Tony for the first time recently. What a great experience. He inspected the car thoroughly and provided me with insight on what he recommends at my choice. Never felt rushed or pressured and his prices were extremely fair. I felt comfortable and all the guys were nice. They completed the service in a short amount of time and had me back on the road. Tony is literally the best mechanic I've ever dealt with, and I've gone though plenty. Honesty is the hardest trait to find in a mechanic, and Tony is the obvious exception that. Also, him having a background in racing and tuning is hugely beneficial. He never tries to hard sell you and is always trying to not only give you the best possible work and experience but also tries to save you money in the process. You won't be disappointed!

I have an s2000. Tony knows the s2000 completely. He us a bit if a drive for me. But totally worth it. Knowledgeable, kind, and fair prices.

MidValley Auto Repair has been the only auto mechanic I've trusted for over 20 years for my Hondas and Acura. Tony Fuchs is amazing, he is the absolute best: Honest, dependable and trustworthy. I would never trust my car with anyone else.

Tony is one of the best mechanics out there. He is an excellent diagnostician and extremely knowledgeable. He always suggests the most cost effective solutions for addressing car repair issues. He provides great quality work at reasonable prices. He is extremely honest. For all of these reasons, I have used Tony for several years, traveling from West L.A. to the Mid-Valley in order for Tony to fix any of my major automotive repairs.

I mirror all the other five star review. Tony is brilliant. Why do all the other mechanics have 2 to 3 cars most in their shops?? Mid Valley always has an abundance of cars, because hes straight up honest paired with high level skills. He does zero marketing, because he needs none. Word of mouth is so potent about him as a mechanic hes always got business.

Tony is a legit old-school mechanic who does great work. Knows the S2000 like the back of his hand and has been working on Hondas and other imports for a long time. Best shop for me to access from the westside.

A much overdue review! Tony is the guy you want to take your car to-- PERIOD. If you are anywhere near the valley, you shouldn't be bothering with anyone else. Not only is he good at what he does and has fair prices, it's his honesty that I most appreciate. I take both my cars (Subaru STi and Honda Element) to him for all my needs and always tell me how I should go about solving a problem in the most effective way. He seems to work on all kinds of cars, and I love seeing the unique hot tod or tricked out Honda in there. He does full engine builds to simple oil changes. I will continue to recommend and service both of my cars with Tony at Mid-Valley. Thanks for everything.

Mid-Valley is my go-to trusted shop! I would highly recommend that anyone go to them.My brother is a car freak. I am not. So when I asked for a recommendation for a mechanic, I knew I needed someone who I could trust.Mid-Valley and their owner Tony are trustworthy, affordable, transparent, and overall good people.Don t waste your time going anywhere else.

Doesn't seem like he's interested in keeping his word or appointments. Has problems reading. I told him I need a steering rack installed on an 04 s2000, he tells me come sat or monday, ,then that turns into come thurs, then that turns into come fri, then he cancels on me with an excuse "I thought it was a simple replace a steering rack", when I clearly told him what I wanted to be done. I do not recommend doing business with Tony, he is disrespectful of peoples schedules and time, and a flake. In general, I recommend keeping a close eye on most mechanics, I have to double check their torque values since most tend not to even use a torque wrench. Then he has his wife post screenshots of our conversation on my facebook review , where he clearly is in the wrong and disrespectful towards my time and schedule.

Amazing place, the owner i believe, was so friendly, explained everything to fix the problem i had with my car, he didn't have the L shaped plastic that i needed but i found it somewhere else brought it to him and he fixed it for free! 10 stars from me

This is "The Place" For Your BabyThe ONLY S2000 specialist you should ever consider. Knowledgeable, thoughtful, considerate. Honest, will tell you What's what with no pressure EVER. I know, it sounds like bromance but at 67 years of age, countless goniff mechanics, it has been a blissful 21 years of our babies being coddled. Nuff said. Peace out

Tony was recommended to me by a cousin who owns an S2k, my 01 prelude came in the shop with missing parts, a blown gasket, destroyed cam shaft, etc. ... the car was horrible internally, now I got a H22 pure JDM vroom vroom machine for a completely honest price, go to Mid Valley they ll fix anything you bring in or get you something betterServices: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair
