Just got an alternator, belts and oil pressure switch replaced. Ray is awesome and I really feel like he cares about me and my car. People have said they feel like family, and that's true. He is thorough and fair and the turn around was good. I would defiantly recommend 101 Auto and will be returning for more service

The Los Angeles area is so big, living here my entire life, I tend to feel disconnected. But working with 101 Auto had a small town feeling about it. My husband brought our truck in for a noise he heard. Ray took very good care of our truck and guaranteed his work, by telling him to come back with any issues, which were included in the initial fee. I took our car in for a simple oil change, where I met Art. Art took me in right away ON A SATURDAY. It took him about an hour. Within two visits, my husband and I felt as if we were working with friends and in very good hands. If you are looking for an honest mechanic, 101 auto repair is your place.

We learned about 101 Auto Repair and met Ray by recommendation of another friend. When my '57 Morris Minor needed repairs that we couldn't figure out, my husband brought the car in and we are so glad he did! Ray did a wonderful job! He was able to resolve our issues, leaving the car running and braking in tip top condition. He's genuine and treats you and your car like family. I can't recommend them enough. Thanks!

Best customer service I ve seen coming from an auto repair shop. Kind and genuine, I got my oil changed with Koko, they have years of experience, did the job quick and priced fair. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Ray serviced my Nissan Altima a few months ago after my battery died. I was weary because it was the second time my car broke down for the same reason and the last guy told me there was nothing wrong. Ray fixed my car and I haven't had a problem since. It's been running smoothly. It was a bit pricey but not unreasonable, and he was very friendly and professional as well as escorted my car to his shop (I live just down the street). It was definitely worth it. Thanks!

Leon and his team are fantastic. I came here for a second opinion and he gave me honest feedback about the maintenance required for my 99 Accord and gave me a good price. He even changed a brake light free of charge and took out a dent in my front bumper from a hit and run. He explained everything he was doing and told some great stories. Highly recommended

From the minute I got there, I knew it was a great place. Family owned. Father and son were both there. I originally went in for a smog check, but had a weird noise coming from my front tire. After the smog, they put my car up on the lift, pulled the tires, checked everything, even took it for a test drive to diagnose the problem. They did not charge me for the diagnosis. I am definitely bringing my car back here for repairs, and am referring all my friends. Nowadays it is very hard to find a mechanic that is honest. The son told me a saying his dad told him. :"you can only screw a customer once, then they never come back" that is why they are honest.A++++++ serviceUPDATE 7 YEARS LATERI still come here and Ray and Leon are like family now. I send my kids here and know that they will not get screwed. Ray and Leon are so honest, and will give you options as to what needs to be done, ad what you can get away with. Seriously, you will never need another mechanic once you let them into your lives.

Ray is a great mechanic and goes beyond what typical auto repair shops do. He listens and doesn't try to push extra services or nickel and dime you as auto dealerships will do. He's honest, and didn't charge me the additional cost of a factory part that he originally thought was $200 when it was really $299! Hands down I will be going to him again for my car - thanks Ray

Ray and his dad are super knowledgeable and very sweet. My whole family has been coming to him for years. He s not one of those mechanics that will tell you there is a unicorn in your exhaust and you owe him 1000$. He will tell you what s wrong and will work with you. I always recommend people to go here. He s pretty busy but worth the wait.

Prompt and professional! I went in because my ac was not blowing air from the cabin area. Very skillful auto technician that owns this shop! Fixed it same day. Thanks again 101 Auto Repair for the quality work

I'll start by saying that Ray is my friend, but he's the only one that I trust - outside of getting my car fixed at a dealership (when under warranty) - to actually DO a good job. I've fixed/maintained my Toyota Camry, Mini Cooper and Kia Soul with 101 Auto Repair for the past 10-11 years.I've tried family recommended mechanics and have always come back to these guys since they don't cheat you on the price & actually take the time to explain what's needed to be fixed on your vehicle. Although the shop is not next to my house any more, I'd rather drive and fix my vehicle with a shop I trust. These guys are hard working and take the time to help - even when I had a car accident.Also, they just opened up a new smog shop in Reseda. So I'll come back for this in the future most likely. Bottom line, trustworthy, pleasant, hardworking and you don't feel cheated on the price either. Great mechanic of the valley.Yay, go team 101 Auto Repair! :)

Ray's father changed the oil in my car. I asked him to also check a noise it was making on the rear right. He checked many things but concluded it was as he had suspected, the bushing needed oil. He oiled right away and later I realized it was at no extra charge. Surely they're trustable mechanics - there was no intent to try to come up with something to rip me off. The yelp reviews were right, these mechanics are a gem!

This is now my go-to auto shop. I have been multiple times. They're honest, and well priced. They all seem to have a long history of mechanical experience too. Friendly and professional. I definitely recommend them to my friends.

I m here visiting California, had a car problem, but my friend recommended me to go to this place. It s her favorite auto repair shop. They were able to come over and save the day. They were so kind and wonderful. Genuinely great people!

Fast and Well-Priced - Ray the mechanic there is the man! He got my car to pass smog, and explained what the problem was. Good and honest work - I'll be coming back here next time.

Leon and Ray ae the best in the Valley, not only they have the latest equipment to diagnose a problem, but also are very fair on the prices. Any car, any model, they seem to know about it.

The owner Hrayer is very shady he wanted to charge me $1000 dollars for service but I got it done $220 somewhere else, beware he is a scammer to take your hard earned money.

Brought my car for the inspection and got $5,000 estimate? Seriously, they trying to get your business with $$$ bill. Highly not recommended
