Unfortunately they stopped organizing the cars, so in order to find the car you need you have to canvas an entire city block of hundreds of vehicles mixed together. It's absolutely bonkers. The SUV's are with the sedans, the Honda's are with the Chryslers, it's mayhem. Why change something for the worse?? Even the manager agreed it was chaos but "corporate blah blah." I won't be back until they regain some form of sanity.

There are many cars to recycle. They have a good selection of used tires. The prices are high for used parts. For example, they wanted $26 for a 3/4 worn tire with no guarantee that it would work. I found the same tire at Walmart for $53. For twice the price, I got a tire with full tread and a warranty. Pick and Pull can be difficult to work with. They charge $2 just to walk into the yard. This is always the last place I look for a part.

This was my first time going to a pick n pull, and I read a lot of the reviews before I went to get a sense of what I'm getting myself into. I tried calling the number on Google and it rang for 2 minutes before disconnecting. The Pick N Pull website was very helpful in finding what car I was looking for and if they have any in stock. Once I got there, I was expecting much worse customer service considering the reviews I read. The people there, although not enthusiastic, were very helpful for someone who's never been to a pick n pull before. After they gave me a map and the cars I was looking for. You are pretty much on your own at that point. When you are there you always run the risk that you won't find what you are looking for, and I knew that going in. Thankfully I was able to find what I was looking for and only paid a total of $9 for the entire trip.

Worst Customer service. Bought something 5 minutes later I come back to return because it's the wrong part. won't let me in. it's 530 pm. closing time is 6 pm. would have taken 3 minutes to return. Same thing has happened before. staff was rude. Kid picking up the things to close was rude. Feels like you are pulling teeth to get any assistance with anything.

This company is a joke unless you live within a certain distance they will not help you even though they say they will. I personally dealt with Rachel who told me that she could come pick up my car for $260 and then when getting back on the phone with the company Do you give them the rest of the information about the car they told me that the car is not within tow distance and they can t help us

DON'T EVER BUY TIRES FROM PICK-n-Pull! For that matter don't even waste your time going for parts. Limited inventory, admission charge to find out they don't even have your vehicle, rude staff, aisles limited with garbage, old parts, and other "things" you don't even want to know about. Bought tires. All looked visually good enough to temporarily replace the ones for a recently purchased used car. Took to my tire guy to install - he refused to install one of the tires. THE 19 YEAR OLD TIRE! Got another tire to get mobile. Learn the tire codes - I sure did, the hard way. Took the tire back 1 day later and Hector (the manager) refused to help. I thought that since they were committing a misdemeanor (AB 949) that surely I could get a refund or at least a store credit. NOPE. Only option was to exchange for another tire THAT I NO LONGER EVEN NEEDED! Looked for other tires, but nothing without nails (seriously!), already shredded (seriously), or the right size. When I asked for a resolution, he said I'd need to go to another Pick-n-Pull. REALLY? Fairfield is 41 mi. each way, Vallejo is 57 mi. I don't know where Hector buys his gas, but I usually pay over $6 a gallon. Took the tire and receipt and left. It was $24 with tax for the garbage tire that I now have to pay to dispose of, plus the wasted time & gas to go back again for nothing. Weak!!

Online hours say they are open. I've been trying to reach someone in the office since 9 a.m and it's now 12 noon. I go to pick n pull all the time and usually find what I need but customer service is a little spotty

Not happy. Set up for pick up for my SUV between 8am to 12pm. Took morning off at work. No call, now show. I called at 12:15. Dispatch could not reach tow truck driver. She had me hold and checked in periodically letting me know she was still trying to reach him. After maybe 15 minutes, she said he will be calling shortly to let me know when he is on his way. I told her I needed to pick up my son and would be right back. He called 15 minutes later and told me he would be at my home in 5 minutes. Asked if he could wait 20 minutes as my whole day has been screwed up for wasting my whole morning waiting for him. He said he can not. He told me he was booked. He said if he had time he would try to get me in at the end of the day. I never heard from him. I went on vacation for a week and came back, called to reschedule pick up and they had my order cancelled. So now I have to start all over. Super pissed. They are getting a hell of a deal. $190 for an SUV that won't smog. The tires alone are worth $400.

Nice and convenient junkyard, well staffed and laid out as most are in the chain. Wasn't busy when I was there but I can see that it could be a wait to get in or out. Seems like people are respecting the rules and closing hood and not leaving a huge mess, which is nice. Portapotties were usable, even clean by outdoor standards.

Excellent selection of reconditioned automobile batteries at good prices. All the other things you expect at a facility like this: Bring a tool box and find your part, remove it and take it back to the desk where they will price it out for you. Call ahead if you need something unusual. Sometimes they get cool stuff but it doesn't last long.

When the car is there, it's great. But several times I've gone only to find the car is no longer at the site even though the website says it is. This particular site seems very slow to update. And worse? They don't seem to think it's a such big deal or make much of an apology about it. I pointed out that with older cars someone may drive 100+ miles to try and get a part. Also, what good is the website if you can't count on it? They suggested I call first to confirm.

So this obviously is not a 5 star place, but they get 5 stars because for what it's worth this place is actually quite fantastic. I have had slightly older cars in the past and been able to find parts for them with no problem. if you're looking a for a piece of trim for the interior of your car or even a spare tire, or perhaps a floor mat or a piece of carpet. this is a great place to go if you are handy enough to take it off the wrecked salvaged car and get it for yourself. I'm a female and I go in to pick and pull, and have had no problems finding what I needed. Just recently I bought my husband a used commuter car and it didn't come with a spare tire, Jack, or any of the cardboard and carpet covers that usually go in a trunk I was able to find all of those things and I only spent $21!

Worst and Rude customer service I have ever experienced Angel the manager does not care about customer service she s very rude as well as some of the staff. They look really unhappy to work there. I really believe they should hire enthusiastic and polite people to do the job!

They didn't let me in the yard even thought they were an hour till closing, and closed the yard 30 mins before closing. Was just gonna a throttle body, which was just a quick 4 bolt unscrew. Wasted my time driving down here for half an hour.

Over the years going to the Windsor location. I have noticed that car selections are getting smaller. About one third of the lot was vacant.suprisingly they had the part I needed.Learned at cashier that they sell lenses individually, purchased a rear bumper as a whole and they tried to charge for each reflector. Removed and handed to cashier.

It was not the easiest process to schedule a pickup as I was being transferred to several different departments, but it was only a 2 day wait after I talked to the scheduling department. However, I was promised a bill of sale or some type of proof of having let go of this vehicle over the phone, but the driver didn't know what I was talking about when I asked him for a copy. I called the people over the phone again and they said all they could provide was a copy of the pickup order. They wouldn't email it to me for some reason. then they just put me on hold until I had to hang up. Not a great experience, but got the job done.

Just know that if the parts that you get doesn't work you will not get your money back. You will for sure get some credit.

Extremely rude customer service. Everytime I have been I have been greeted by extremely rude employees giving dirty looks. If you try to ask them a question about pricing or location they give you a rude answer like they are to good to help you. I've called for 45 minutes straight to check pricing and selection before driving up there and when I finally got a hold of someone they told my they were unable to help me and that I should call back in 20-30 minutes. I think I will be going to the south or east bay from now on. Windsor location is not worth my time.

WASTE OF TIME! I Stood there Patiently waiting for about 10min as 2 of the Employees helped other customers. Then a Female Employee walks up and Says we are Closed, I Just finished kicking people off the yard. The Moral of the story is why would you let a Customer stand there for that long without saying something..

Used to come here all the time 3 years ago. I've slowly stopped since they've changed managers and the people that work at the window and counter. Some of the prices are hit and miss too. A new front brake calipers for my car cost $22. They want $20 for used ones I have to pull. Someone wanted to charge be $25 for a piece of dash trim I ended up buying on eBay shipped for $12. You really have to look at the pricing sheet before assuming that everything is cheaper.Gave them two stars instead of one for the few great people that still work there and some of the great deals they have.

Good selection when you get to Windsor. Web site inventory way off. Lots of cars are there that do not show up on inventory web site. Makes it hard to find parts you need for specific car. Some prices are worth it, others such as automatic mirror, are cheaper to get off ebay without having to pull your part off a car. Website inventory definitely needs updating

Worst phone service ever experienced! Called in to get a quote for my old car. Pushed 1 for price quote on vehicle. First lady answered and asked how she could help me. I asked for a price quote on a car. Her second question was to ask me to hold. I said sure and after a minute I heard dial tone. Called back right away and spoke to a different lady who went mute mid conversation then gets back on the phone after my third hello and starts laughing. I asked her why shes laughing and she says she's not. Ok. Then she immediately goes into a scripted rant about how they could offer me $125 without even asking for the mileage on my car...I told her where she could put that as she was ranting about a free tow or some bs

Where to start? Pros: huge yard with a variety of cars. If you remove a part, you'll probably understand how to install it. Cons; parking lot sucks and is a sea of trash. Employees are rude on a good day. You are charged $2 just to enter and you must sign a liability sheet saying that no matter how unsafe the yard is, it's your problem. The price list is posted but is so bloody vague a parts price is subjective and left to the interpretations of the cashier you're dealing with and their mood at the moment. There's more; bottles of urine and glass broken out for the fun of it everywhere. Poor drainage in the yard means it floods when it rains, when it dries up you realize that it's probably seeping into ground water, not acceptable, and the smell of decay from the vehicles and stagnant water is just.... Ugh! Not to mention all of the parts floating in the water that you have to jump over or use as a stepping stone if it isn't saturated apolstery. There's never enough trolleys or hoists. They check your bags to make sure you're not stealing parts, you can't bring a part into the yard because they can't be bothered to keep tabs on it or you. They rarely honor the sales prices for the pick'n'pull version of a club card, your $30 off after-spending-way too-much coupon expires unreasonably fast. There are fees, and core charges that they spring on you when you check out and the cashier (already rude) will give you hell if you question the charges. If you question enough they will start charging you for every little thing they can, bolts and bits that's are permanent, not removable. Your $60 part becomes $90 if you get a female cashier and are the same gender. And the worse for last: you are being charged near retail for a used part with questionable origins and functionalities, no refunds, only credit if you meet the criteria within 30 days, don't forget to ask for the return paint pen mark or you'll be up the creek when you need to return it. This place is only for the desperate, bored, and/or demolishers. Good luck!

Usually I shop there alot. ,,Prices and parts arevery good.but I tried to call to ask a question would have taken no more than 2, minutes to answer I called noone answered I waited over three minutes then it seemed like they picked up vthe phone and just hung it up .I know they get really busy but if I was a business I would definitely not hang up on them when they are trying to get information on on parts.

Its a junkyard! Yet the picknpull charges retail prices (brand new) on alot of the parts they try to sell. My advice, shop around. Its a junkyard! It should be priced as such. The return policy sucks. Store credit that's it. The staff are cool

Most the inventory here is raped before it hits the yard it seems. Weekends are not recommended by me, unless you feel like fighting over cars. Alot of cars have graffiti, and it seems like someone loves baseball, because all the side view mirrors are completely destroyed. Not to mention everything is overpriced.
