Needed air in my tires (was at chevron and their air machine was broken).. called them & asked if they could help me and they did. OUTSTANDING SERVICE, super clean lobby friendly & knowledgeable technicians. I will definitely come back to this location again & refer my friends in the area... Thank you.

Moved to the area recently and decided to try this place out for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation service. Called a week in advance to make an appointment for 8AM first thing. After waiting for 2 hours had to ask the staff what is taking so long and was told that an Oil change waiting timeframe is 3 hours even with an appointment. Also noticed my car didn t make it to the inside of the garage til about 8:45AM. This may be a good place to drop your vehicle off for service and pick it up at the end of the day, but def not a place to come back for an oil change that could take 3 hours.

I wish I could post 0 stars. this place is TERRIBLE. unless you want to waste your $$$ don't bring your car here.driving along Winchester and a message saying "engine overheated, idle engine" popped up. we took it in and they said their was a crack in our coolant tank. cool $400 later we got our car back. exactly 1 week later the same message comes up , "engine overheated, idle engine". we took our car back asking why is the same issue happening, and they checked.. I guess one of the mechanics didn't tighten the lid so the coolant was leaking the whole time! wasn't charged this time. ONE WEEK LATER, I am getting in the car to take my son to school and there is coolant leaking all over our garage floor! took it back to them (yes we gave them too many chances, was hoping they would do the right thing) and apparently when fixing the coolant leak issue, another issue happened with a pipe, cost $300. LESS THAN A WEEK LATER, I am driving my husband to the Ontario airport and the message "engine overheated, idle engine" popped on again while on the freeway. we had to pull over a total of 6 times to allow the engine to cool. my husband again took the car back to this stupid "auto service" and apparently the thermostat was broken... $350. not even a day later the message came on again, "engine overheated, idle engine"... and there was coolant all over our garage floor again. this was def the last straw and we went to a different place. found out we had a blown gasket. something this place couldn't figure our after 4 trips and over $1000 in repairs that we prob didn't even need. all the negative reviews you see on here are REAL! they are money hungry and will not fix your issues, just cause more.

After a sudden blowout, I had my car towed to Mountain View. They had a great selection of tires and they were very professional. They got me back on the road quickly and safely. Highly recommended.

They only get two stars for location. I took my vehicle here a couple of times for only oil change. The first time I dropped off and was never called when ready to pick up, I called them and was told it was ready. This time, I had no ride home so I called a day ahead of time and was told there would not be any technician in until 9 or 930. I said their website said they open at 730 and he (Ray) said he still won't have any technician. So I asked if 830 would be good and he said yes. I got there around 820 and was told it will take several hours to get to my oil change since twelve customers checked in ahead of me. They were done with it at 1230. I work in SD and sometimes take my vehicle to Big O in Poway and am in and out with in an hour, not more than two, even when they are busy. But they do tell me to bring it in first thing in the morning, which I do. Guess they are getting my business next oil change.

I barely leave reviews. But this place warrants one. Dishonest and poor service. They recommend unnecessary expenses and lie. High chance of new complications arising instead of getting resolved. Poor quality.They messed up on something as simple as a tire rotation and antifreeze replacement.The details: They were aggressive and ruined some of the wheel studs of my car to the point where the Lugnut can't be screwed on. So, they lied that the Lugnut was missing, when it was actually thrown away by them after discovering that they broke it. They overfilled antifreeze, to the point where it spilled. Had to take it back for them to check it out. Then, this really takes the cake for me. I asked if they cleaned it up and if it would keep spilling. Instead, I was blatantly lied to my face with a resounding "Yes." Well, guess what? The car is still spilling antifreeze on my garage floor. Not only did I take it back another time, but they looked at it, saw the issue, saw that nothing was broken, just their own poor service, and decided to keep it that way instead of correcting it. I took the car already. It is there in your hands. You already have it lifted up. But nope, just put it back down and lie again.I took my car to the dealership mechanics afterwards. $154 for some wheel stud replacements + a $5 visit to O'Reilly for a Lugnut. This place probably knows that it is too much of a hassle and often times unsuccessful for customers to file in small claims court. So, they preferred to lie and throw away pieces of my car instead. (my property!)The blatant dishonesty and lack of morals is scummy, shady, and makes me feel as if though I went to some run-down mechanics in a really bad neighborhood.Horrible experience. It is one thing to mess up, but another to lie instead of owning up to your mistakes. Illegal practices here. My time and money are worth nothing to them. Everything I've stated is factual.

*Winchester Location*I called these guys in a panic, on the side of the road, in the rain, with a blown out tire. Tow truck on the way, I was trying to find my obscure tires and still make my son s 4:30 audition in LA. These guys were the only ones who, though the furthest away, could solve my problem and get me back on the road fast. Friendly, helpful, and calming they saved the day!Oh, and even though we ended up being 30 minutes late, they moved him to the last audition slot. My son ended up booking the job!

Save your money, these guys over charge and work is very poor. Had power steering pump replaced and tech forgot to tighten belt, my son was driving home to Glendale and belt came off on fwy going 65, no steering. Had to pay for 50 mile tow back to shop and rental car so he could get home. Three weeks later car is leaking power steering fluid and now high pressure line for steering is bad, they inflated cost of part 300% and charged more to replace.

My girl took her car here when I was out of town... When I came back and found out I took the car to my shop and lifted it up. Noticed 1 quick mistake which was they used the old oil drain plug gasket. I then checked if they torqued the plug to spec... These fools put so much force into this plug that I was able to lift myself (200lbs) and still could not remove this oil drain plug. This place will damage your oil pan if this is the type of work they do...

Had a flat tire went in at 1pm closest place near me. Refused to help me patch my tire. Had to tow my vehicle to another tire shop that accepted to patch my tire. This place is a joke do not come here!

Go to Firestone or America s tire and Costco. Worst people. I took my car at 9 am today and they told me to comeback. I have to ask somebody to take me home and to take me back to this place just to find out that they could not rotate the tire because of the measurements and the car is 5 years old. Tire still looks good and they are Michelin tires 70,000 miles warranty. When I bought the warranty they said they will rotate the tire as long as it s good and now they guy is telling me that they warranty is only good for 3 years the worst thing is they should have told me that earlier when I took the car. I did even told the tech that the tires has 57,000 miles. Worst people. They don t care about your time Go somewhere else. I just had my truck service at Firestone with 5 years on my truck and they did a good job for 2 hrs with no appointments including alignment but here I just ask for tire rotation but took them 6 hrs for nothing.

Left my truck here for no more than 5 days for diagnose and repairs and came back to talk to them about doing my repairs and I find my truck on concrete blocks ,window smashed, door really messed up, over 2k tires GONE breaks, messed up my suspension all messed up and to top it off I had just bought the vehicle couple days prior. Not only did I not get a phone call the employees were being very non professional didnt seem to care and told me it was my problem and they are not liable. Although they did call the cops when it happend and filed a police report but ofcourse nothing happend but I thought it would be worth a mention. And when I asked for there camera footage they said they didnt have cameras but they then decided to tell me that vehicles left out IN THERE POSSESSION at THERE shop have a good chance of getting stolen if left out for more than 3 days. So not only did they not tell me this after my tires already got stolen and truck totalled out for over 6k in damages. They dont have cameras when vehicles left out IN THERE POSSESSION get consistantly broken into and or parts stolen from the vehicle. When I pointed this out to one of the employees he just sat there coming up with excuses and saying that they are not liable taking no responsibility whatsoever. I would not recommend going here ever. This shop also has a consistents of giving you hidden fees unexplained. This shop is terrible and dont care about there customers. Horrible service and they will upcharge for useless repairs that are not needed do not trust these mechanics with your vehicle or money they will screw you over for change on the dollar

I set up anappointment on line. I drove one hour to get there and the guy tells me they are too busy to take me and at the computer automatically approves the appointment even though there is no room for you. I told him I drove one hour for this appointment and he said sorry there s another guy here who is waiting for his car to and he won t be able to help me.

Sorry to say but no one really went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied so I went somewhere else. Would help to increase the enthusiasm of your employees to satisfy the customers.

Over tightened oil cap. I couldn t get it off. Their response was that they ll charge me for the labor if the cap breaks off and they have to clean up the break. Don t come here ever!

I have been coming here for 8 years. But after today's experience no longer will I come here. An employee named Sam rudest person I have ever met. I arrived at store 7:28 opens at 7:30Jerked door out of my hand and said we are not open yet in a loud and antagonistic voice.Then locks door comes back 5 minutes later and unlocks door does not open door and say come on in can I help you?I ask to get my oil changedI told him I had a coupon and he said oh I won't match that coupon. I told him I've been coming here for eight years and they've always match the coupon for an oil change.He said no and if you don't like it, go somewhere else. I will never visit this establishment again and I don't recommend that you do it either.

Good customer service but they really scratched my wheels on my 2018 lexus after changing 1 tire. The scratches are even in the inner rim d t them removing the previous tire. Ridiculous

Beware they're trying to cheat people out of their money. Go some where else, charged $65 for a diagnostic inspection that was worthless. Tried to say we needed new tires, amongst other things, we literally changed all tires less than 2 months ago! Quoted $1100 for breaks but then said it might be more depending on what else is needed, what a joke. Awful customer service, doesn't even listen. Helped by Robert Gray

Want to thank the team at Mountain View for their service today! At 9am today the plan was for my wife to drive to SD airport by 1:30 when I came to my truck found a flat tire...I live around the corner so got there quick and told Eddie I had to be at the airport soon so its a bit of an emergency. He told me they would have it ready by 12:30.Well the tire ended up being unrepairable but they checked all the pressures, ensured the full size spare was good to go and safe for travel.The best part was since they didn't have to "fix" anything they didn't charge me anything.I worked in customer service for 15 years...AND THAT IS HOW YOU DO IT!Ill be back soon to replace that spare an I really appreciate your sense of urgency today!

Walked in today for a tire repair. I was told I needed to drop the car off for 6-8 hours! A tire repair is a 30-minute job.. I was willing to wait a couple of hours but a drop off for a tire repair is ridiculous.I live right around the corner from this place and would love to do business here but unfortunately every time I try they give me a reason not to. Honestly I believe that I need it two new tires and I didn't want to tell them that in case I was wrong. I asked them for a repair hoping that they would tell me if the tires needed replacing so this could have been a much bigger job. Unfortunately they will never know.

My 78 year old father-in-law had his car stall on him off of Winchester Road just down the road from the shop. AAA towed his vehicle there at his request for servicing. After a diagnostic they informed him that his distributor needed replacing. He agreed to have the distributor replaced and it cost him over $760 for the repair. The car immediately ran poorly and they told him the Catalytic Converters were now clogged and that they do not do that type of work there.So he took his car to another facility in Lake Elsinore for the Catalytic Converter work. This new place said the problem was NOT the catalytic converters that Mountain View claimed. The new repair shop replaced the distributor that Mountain View installed and the car ran fine.My father-in-law returned to Mountain View with his faulty distributor from Mountain View and all they offered was to replace it, but they could not refund it. So ZERO of the money for Mountain View s part and service was refunded. But he did get a shiny new replacement distributor to take home.The end result is he paid $760 from Mountain View and over $500 from the muffler repair shop in Lake Elsinore and a shiny new distributor he has no use for. Mountain View should have given him a full refund including the diagnostic that didn t diagnose anything worth while. Now my father-in-law wants me to sell the Mountain View Distributor on eBay for him!My wife and I stopped going to Mountain View years ago even though we live very close to their location because of a similar situation with faulty parts that they have a history of not standing behind.Our advice is to stay away from this place.

I would not recommend going to this place. Went in for an oil change which takes hours???? They recommended getting brakes worked on. Keep in mind my brakes haven t been giving me issues. I agreed with their quote since I had it in there already. When they were done I had constant squeaking from my brakes and they stank really bad! I told them and they said that is normal when I first get them .A week later took it in for the same issue, they said the pads were under warranty so they replaced them and the rotors to fix the issue, it was there for days .Costing me even more money. The squeaking continued about a week later. I was reluctant to take it in again since it wasn t done right the first 2 times. Even though there is a warranty on parts doesn t change the fact that their techs don t know what they are doing. Fast forward months later of putting up with squeaky brakes I took my vehicle to Midas and they got it looked at, they said the new rotors were already warped and I had the wrong type of pads on my vehicle. I had to pay again for their service and my brakes couldn t be any better after Midas fixed my brakes. HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS!!!

Went in for an oil change, they called me once the car was in and said it needed more work quoted me a little over a $1,000 for the work. I had them repeat the total so that I knew I hadn't heard it wrong. When I showed up they were charging me $1800. Accused me of mishearing, even though I asked him to repeat it over the phone. I will never get work done here again.
