I am in great appreciation for Joseph Ladd and his wife for providing a much needed service. After two other RV businesses pretty much told me the only way to change my old leaking faucet out for a new one would be to take apart the whole kitchen counter area for access, RV Lad replied it would be possible and came through on their word. I now have a working kitchen sink !! I live in my RV, so not having a working kitchen sink was becoming a hardship. I m so impressed with Joseph s professionalism and knowledge. He has a great skill set and knows what he s talking about. When he is unsure, he will totally let you know. These guys are the only ones I ll be calling on for future repairs. Having quality work done by professionals like RV Lad is going to save you in the long run because they will do the job right the first time around. He s also great with electrical work which is rare to find someone with that skill set. Thank you RV Lad

I can t recommend this business enough! We moved to California in February & since around April started looking for a place to take our trailer in for it s yearly warranty inspection. We couldn t find a place as everyone was booked out until after November (our deadline was Aug. 8th) or wouldn t see us because we hadn t purchased our trailer with them. Time was running out, but luckily we found this company. They were very busy, but still managed to squeeze us in prior to the deadline. They were very responsive with their emails/texts & upfront with cost. THANK YOU so much for your time, expertise & flexibility! I had Joseph out today to figure out a hydraulic leak in my slide out and one of my jacks. He figured out where the leaks were and got the parts ordered. He left the area clean and he is a very friendly guy to work with. I will be giving the family run business all of my work from now on. Thanks again!

I called RV Lad-Mobile Service & Repair because I was having problems with my refrigerator in my 2020 Sportsmans Classic. Almost immediately the gentleman (sorry I don't remember his name) on the phone was almost 100% sure he knew what was wrong. He had me go to my trailer and open the refrigerator door.At this point in time I don't want to give up his "secret fix" but my refrigerator works great!!! He could have scheduled a time to come to my house, worked his magic and charged me hundreds of dollars but he didn't.I highly recommend this company for all of your RV products and services.

I needed help with an electrical issue related to my rv s back-up camera. I had read positive reviews about the RV Lad on Google and since he is pretty close to me, I made an appointment. Joseph arrived a little after 8 am. I showed him what I thought the problem was and he started to investigate, which involved calling the radio manufcturer s tech support to confirm the wiring for the backup camera. During the process, he accidentally cut the video cable and had to look online to see how it could be repaired. He gave me the option of pausing the clock until I was able to get a new video cable or could continue with the electrical wiring while I went to Lowes looking for a replacement. Long story short, when we called the car radio company back (Crutchfield I highly recommend!), they offered to ship a new video cable for free. Joseph left me with a couple of wire connectors so I could finish the job once the video cable arrived. I was able to complete the job after reversing the wiring that Joseph had done (it was backwards).So I paid $340 for roughly 3 hours worth of work that included an $80 "discount" because he said I shouldn t pay for the time he spent learning.Lesson learned: before agreeing to a service, ask how much specifically related experience the tech has.Another odd thing was that I was asked to enter my credit card info into a secure online account a requirement before starting work(?). Ultimately, I paid by check to avoid him having to pay the usual vendor percentage to the credit card company. So why did I need to provide credit card info to begin with?Service: Electrical

We had A/C, heater and refrigerator problems. The beginning of June we called another mobile RV service and over $1800 and one month later we were still waiting for the work to be done. So, we called RV Lad and Joseph came out within just a few days. He installed a rooftop A/C all by himself, which was amazing to me. He solved our other problems too. The other guy had charged over $700 in parts for the refrigerator which wouldn't have fixed it anyway after Joseph found out the real problem. He is so friendly and knowledgeable and explained he was doing - in terms we could understand and left us with advice to keep our coaches running well. He is the only RV service technician we'll be calling from now on. He's a great lad!

We had Joey from The RV Lad come to our house to work on our trailer awning. This is our second trailer we've had Joey work on and he does excellent work!!! He's fast, thorough and cleans up after he finishes his job.We would recommend Joey to anyone that is having an RV issue.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

We had to have an annual inspection for our RV warranty. Joseph was great to work with, provided education while working. With this being our first trailer, it was very helpful to learn some of the the things to look out for and how to do certain things. A couple months after we had some trouble with our fridge and furnace. Once again we went with RV Lad. Joseph is very knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and does great work. Definitely our go to for our RV needs

On the recommendation of a friend, I contacted the RV Lad about a repair. Joseph arrived on time. He was professional and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. Had trouble with our batteries and potentially the converter while out camping this last weekend, and got nervous because we are scheduled to go out again soon and needed to get this fixed, we had no power, we could not unhook the trailer from the truck. Could not get into our local repair place until after we would be going camping again. So we took a chance and called RV Lad. What we learned is he is a newer businessman, which explains the limited reviews, although his trailer experience is certainly not new to him. We spoke to him on the phone earlier today, submitted a service request online, and had a quote for the repair in a very short time. We made an appointment for next week but he actually had a cancellation and called and came out today. Problem solved very quickly! He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. Found out it was not our converter and he installed the two new batteries we had already bought. Got everything hooked up and it is all working perfectly now! We will probably get a new surge protector as his guess is we may have gotten has surge or something from the RV park. He also fixed our awning which was not closing well, and it closes very well now. Again, he told us what the issue with that was. Also answered some other questions that we had. He did not try to sell us anything we did not need. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and professional. Price-wise, very competitive but less than the shops for sure. It was extremely nice to not have to take the trailer somewhere else to be repaired as well! We will absolutely be calling Joseph for any and all of our future trailer needs. Joey is very professional in the work he does. He drove out to Angels Camp to fix our 2019 Keystone Springdale TT we only had it a couple of months, and we bought it used from a RV retailer. It came with no warranty. We kept hearing a clicking sound in the fusebox , and Joey was able to figure out, and fix the problem. Also our propane was leaking, and he fixed that too. He is very honest, hard working young man.

We needed our roof re-sealed as we had several leaks last winter. We also had changed out a few mechanical parts in our heater but it still wasn t working. Joseph was prompt and honest. Rather than tell us our very old heater needed a new control panel, he cleaned it up (working beautifully now) and told us how to change it in the future. He truly knows about every part of the rv. The roof looks great and when there was one pesky leak left, he came back out the next day to figure it out. I would definitely recommend rv lad.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

Joseph came out to look at a refrigerator problem i was having with my RV. He spent the time to answer all my questions and even gave me advice on my AC, water heater, etc. Great customer service which in my opinion is very rare these days and fair prices not to mention the ease of them coming to your location. I will definitely use them again!

Saved us from having to sit on the side of the road for more than 6 hours for AAA. Had us back on the freeway within 20 minutes and will be replacing our awning within a shorter amount of time than another company that we have been waiting for more than 2 months on a similar issue. Was just finishing up on a job and got to us within an hour. Very friendly and professional. I will definitely use him again when we are in this area in time of need.Service: Body & Trim

I Called due to an awning that was stuck open. He was unable to come out due to other jobs but offered to help me over the phone. He patiently offered me a solution over the phone which thank goodness worked. You don t get that kind of service from people today I will definitely recommend and use his services in the future!
