So not really someone who takes the time to review, but felt it was necessary this time. My husband took my car in to this PB location on Washington Blvd to get a decent amount of work done a while back. Tires, alignment, all brakes/rotors replaced. When we went to pick up the car, 3 of my rim caps were missing. They never found them, but said they would comp the next oil change. So today my husband brings in the car for the free oil change and none of the same guys work there, and they refused to honor the oil change at no charge.So disappointing. My husband always goes there and told them he will not be using them anymore. The guy that helped him couldn't care less. WOW!! Great customer service from a very large company.

Pep Boys is now only doing service and tires. I purchased & scheduled everything on my smart phone. Super easy process with their online app. Wow! I was in & out within an hour with a scheduled appointment (of course). Great deals on tires plus lifetime tire rotation. Really! you can t beat that. Go see Mark in Santa Fe Springs location for great customer service.

Pretty sure what Pep Boys did to us was illegal.In short, they refused to repair a flat tire with a temp repair because (and I quote), We didn t find a leak . Although I mentioned several times there was a temp liquid patch. They kept the vehicle for five hours and did nothing.The following day I had to drive to work and on the freeway going 50mph, I got a violent vibration. This was due to the liquid used for the temporary patch. It caused the tire to no longer be balanced, because (again) it was only for temporary purposes to go to a tire repair place and get a proper repair done.But hey, they couldn t find a leak, although I informed them there was a hole. They allowed my wife to drive it off the lot in that state at closing and had no choice but to drive it home.Pretty sure that s not allowed and they knew it when I went in the next day and told them off. They suddenly no longer wanted to repair the tire releasing them of any possible further liability. Sketchy.

I took my vehicle here about a week ago to try and get an oil change. A worker (Jay) tells me they can t do the service because my oil pan bolt is stripped because the car is old. He also tried to say it was stripped by whoever worked on it before. He quotes me to replace the bolt and pan. After leaving the shop, my car begins to leak oil in my driveway (never had oil leaking before that visit). I filed a corporate complaint and no one from this location contacted me within the 24-48 hour Pep Boys protocol. Corporate then escalated my case as a lack of communication report. No one responded that same day per the Pep Boys protocol. I call corporate again who confirmed that, still, no one is responding to the complaint. I call the shop location afterwards and a manager (Richard) answers the phone. He tells me he wasn t able to speak with the mechanic for days. That was never communicated to corporate nor myself the entire time I waited for a response under the company policy. He further tells me that my stripped bolt was hard to remove. He also tried to tell me my car was already leaking oil which, again, my car has never leaked oil. He did tell me they went above and beyond to cover their end which is exactly what it seems like because this doesn t sound like customer service at all.

I had such a good experience at Pep Boys!! Mark was absolutely wonderful and so helpful!! I came in with a completely dead battery, and Pep Boys came in clutch and saved my day! Mark is a super good manager and has a great rapport with his staff and that was very admirable. Thank you so much to Mark and the guys at Pep Boys. I will definitely be returning for all of my car needs.

Took my car in for an oil change for first time at this location. From the moment you call in, Mark is very pleasant over the phone and very professional. Jay assisted me inside and was very helpful and very nice, gave exceptional customer service. Car was done within the hour and was extremely satisfied with the service. Great staff at this location.

They gave me a time for tire installation and their installer didn't start until 1hr after. If I was told that then I would've come in a hour later. Complete disregard for my time. Never going back again.

The great thing is, I got there at store opening. So, I was immediately served for a very, very slow leak in my driver s rear tire. The service was quick and since I had a tire guarantee, I paid nothing for the service.

Their website says they close at 7pm I went in at 5pm for a tire rotation and the guy there on 01/05/2024 said they could not do it bc they didnt have time anymore even though there was only 2 trucks and all the other bays were empty

Mark and Richard were extremely kind and super helpful! They answered any questions I had very clearly and Mark taught me some new things about my vehicle! Will definitely be coming back!

Went in yesterday after driving on my donut for several days. Had the pleasure of being helped by Christian. Christian informed me they didn t have my tire in stock as of yesterday, however he said he could get for me next day and install. When I arrived next day my tire was already ready to go on my rim , and it was quickly put on. They even went as far as checking all my tires pressure and ensured they were all at the correct psi. Thank you again to Christian for his sense of urgency when it came to getting my tire in, as well as installed. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

The store was honoring my appointment. My car was done and a timely manner but the issue was not resolved. My car is still pulling and my tires are still not aligned and my steering wheel is not centered ; He said I could bring it back but with my work schedule of finding a little difficult to get down there. But I will take my car back to get it fixed right? I had no problem with the people working there just the work wasn't done right

Appointment made for 9:00 am Sunday morning.Sign says open at 9:00 am Sunday morning. It's 9:30 am Sunday morning and no one is here at all. Suggest you do not use this location.

My car was giving me problems with starting, took it to Pep boys and Christian was there to help assist me. Very friendly and considerate of my issue and time. Great customer service. He checked my battery, installed a new battery, and I was out the door in about 20 minutes. Very grateful!!! Thank you Christian!

Best service ever. Chris is the best service advisor ever. I felt fully confident leaving my car there with no worries on the care of my car. He honest what I actually needed on my car. So much so I said yes to everything. Better service than the dealer.

Went in towards the end of the day to have the battery/alternator checked. Mark was very helpful in diagnosing the problem. Mark and Jay were honest in what my car needed and fixed the issue. Really nice and helpful people.

I just want to tell Christian that he is an amazing Rep/Mechanic. It's people like him that keep companies booming because they represent the values that thier respective companies try to show thier customers. He was able to help us define the exact problems of my wife's car and even applied a discount we had. The whole experience was unbelievably easy and amazing. Thank you Christian. I just got new tires and brakes and Christian and Mark made the entire process so effortless. They were personable and took their time to make sure I received the best services. My car is running smoother than ever and I have THE Pep Boys to thank for that! 12/10 experience!

Mario and the service manager were friendly and helpful with my Uber vehicle inspection. They tried to minimize my wait time, and I thought the $25 was fair. I d be happy to come back again for other services. (Sorry I forgot your name, it was just easier to remember Mario because his name was on his uniform!)

Seems to be that this location doesn't complete repairs requested. Appointment at 10am finished 3pm for oil change & tire rotation/balance & tires did not get balanced. Will no longer visit Pepboys for service. Not the 1st issue with this service provider. Comped free oil change but my time is more valuable that a 4-5 hour oil change, I'll pay for it at Jiffylube.

Had to come in to get a tire changed out, a half hour before closing. The staff was incredibly friendly and Christian helped me out. Everyone was very nice and professional, and despite me coming in right before closing they got me in and out in about 30 mins. Amazing service

A little expensive manager's oil change special $109 BUT most 6 cylinder car take more than 5 so the price goes up l8ke 20 bucks more.

Arrived at the Pep Boys facility at our appointed time. Paperwork for an oil change was done within minutes. Waited in the lobby for approximately a half-hour. Was called by the service rep, retrieved the keys to the car and we were out the door! Excellent service.

Went in for nail patch in tire. My wife, son and I waited as they repaired. Christian, George & Jason were as kind as they were efficient in getting our tire repaired & out of their quickly. We will most definitely be back & appreciate the excellent service!

MARK IS THE BEST THERE IS. they couldn t align my jeep because their machine hooks up to the rims and i needed a machine that hooks up to my tires. mark did the most for me! he found a shop that had the machine for me and referred me there. and he hooked it up with my tire installation/rotation. definitely recommend this place, the service is always above par. 10/10.
