Obsidian Motors provides excellent auto repair services in addition to quality used autos. For years, they have been the company I trust with maintenance and repairs. They maintain my 2016 Honda Accord to perfection!

Vic Everett the owner from (1027 E 10th StLong Beach, CA 90813)is a criminal. He sells cars without title, then as soon as confronted, he starts lying "this guy is not customer, he is a dealer", well let me tell you the truth, I am a customer that bought a car from him through Joyride autos now Autra marketplace, Do not accept any bill of sale, any other paperwork besides Title. Obsidian sells cars with fraudulent paperwork.RE: The response is full lie. He sold me a car which didn't belong to him. He gave false bill of sale, while car had a loan on it. He pockets $25000 and never pays the loan. Stay away!!!!!Paid close to $25,000.00 cash for Tesla, trusting "Obsidian" to be reputable. Got the vehicle, which had no title, had a lien and belongs to a finance company and different registered owners, they "Obsidian auto sales"never paid it off. Instead they just pocketed the money, now, after telling me to wait for 4 months, the owner is telling me to do whatever I got to do. I only found this out by calling DMV.If you buy car from Obsidian, which I did through Joyride platform, you are guaranteed to get a lemon, problem car or car with no paperwork. The owner is really familiar with the law, so he tiptoes around it very comfortably. I will submit any updates regarding this case. Tell me I didn't buy a Tesla from You Victor, go ahead :))

Sold me a vehicle online at an auction without title. been over 10 months, the owner knew what he was doing and refuses to right the wrong. if this has happened to you, apply to DMV investigations with criminal complaint against the owner Vic. He does this on regular basis, and knows how to avoid being reprimanded.

Air conditioner stopped working at the end of Spring. I was trying my best to get through summer with the windows down but this heat has became to much to bare. A google search for AC service and stumbled across Obsidian Motors. I contacted them by text message, I was referred to their website to give short description of problem with my car and to schedule an appointment. I arrived early but was not a problem. Since I was a new customer, I filled out forms and the mechanics got right to work. Not only did they service my air conditioning, they also gave me a check list of other items to let me know my engine is running superb. Very professional mechanics and the owner was not scared to get his hands dirty as well. As I drove off, the Air Con was still a bit warm. After about 10 mins I was going to return to find out was something wrong....but 15 - 20 mins later, AC kicked in as if I had Frosty the Snowman riding shot gun. Great job "Obsidian Motors" and I will definitely refer others to your place of business. Thanks a lot and much respect.Service: Air conditioning

I absolutely enjoyed coming here to buy a car. I was able to drive away in a 2011 MINI Cooper and I LOVE IT! The price was within my budget and the paperwork was finished quick and easy. I told them what I could afford to pay each month and they really helped me. I will most definitely be coming back to Obsidian Motors to buy another car in several years! Just not TOO soon guys. Let me get all I can out of this one first! LOL

This business should get more than 5 stars! The owner, Jay, kept my updated on my repair status and explained things clearly. The mechanic was skilled, polite, and treated my car with care. The pricing was more than fair, I received my car back by end of day and it is running great! There are so many shady mechanic shops out there so it s so refreshing to find a shop that truly cares about clients and is has good work ethics. this place rip off never get work done here Paid $800 to replace smog pump and I still have the check engine light on. Never again stay away from this place. I was never told that you did not warrantee a part that I bring. I ve been bringing my own parts for years to you and also to Mac and yes, the two parts were $200 each and I paid you $198 twice I had to go back five times because the check engine light keeps coming back on and the part was replaced twice so it s not the part it is your mechanics that do faulty work don t blame it on the part from AutoZone if your mechanic used all the parts that came from the auto parts store instead of using the ones that were already on the car, old screws and parts maybe I wouldn t be going to this problem. I thought you were a reasonable Nice guy, but I guess I was wrong. and if it was never under warranty, why did your mechanics take it off five times and put it back on? And the third time they took it off They noticed they put the hose on and it was bent from them reinstalling it. They thought that was the problem but apparently it wasn t.

Needed work done on my Jaguar and the guys at Obsidian Motors and repair really came through for me. No longer had the car under warranty and the Jaguar dealer was really asking for a lot so I called around and the staff at Obsidian Motors told me what I could expect to pay up front. It was friendly to my pocket! Lol. I will be back the next time I need repair service.

We bought an SUV from their used car sales in Whittier. The negotiation process was straightforward, and I never felt like things were being hidden. I can't imagine a dealership being easier to deal with or more professional. Highly recommended.

The customer service of Obsidian Motors and AutoRepair is top-notch ( best used car sales shop). Its people helped me choose the most conditioned secondhand car from them, and it was so cheap, so I immediately grabbed it. I was so thankful to them.

Got a great deal on a Chevrolet with Obsidian Motors. Services-wise they are good and more helping in nature. I am really satisfied with their used car sales. I would extremely recommend this auto shop in Whittier.

Buyer please beware!! my car was sold to me with no smog report after I paid for it per my contract the check engine light was on the whole time ! Dealer refuses to fix it or give me my money back ! See you in court

Great service. I went in to get my struts and rotors fixed on my Mercedes and I was out within two days. I would ve been out the same day but they had to order a part for my tire. Vic (manager) Jess and Storm did a great job. Storm even rewired my radio system without me asking. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. I like giving credit where it's due and its certainly due here. I needed to get my front end alignment done and Obsidian Motors came through. I made several calls to other places to get prices and then I called Obsidian. The person on the phone said they didn't give prices over the phone but before I decided to hang up I asked if they could beat X price, which was the lowest price I got from another shop. The person on the other end said "Oh we can beat that price. " So I made an appointment for the job to be done and I couldn't be happier about the price and great service.

I had a great experience here. Got a last minute oil change during the busy holiday weekend and they took me right in. They are located behind jiffy lube (which was overcrowded) I was in and out in 30 minutes. The tech there Storm was quick courteous. This used to be Mac's Auto and Mac served the community well for many years. Found out that he retired and a new set of repair guys took over. It looks a bit different from before but these guys are efficient and fast. Had spark plugs changed plus oil and filter too. I waited in the guest lounge while they worked on my car. Mac never had a lounge so this was a comfortable addition to the place. Watched TV and sipped on bottled water from the fridge. It wasn't long before the job was done and like Willie Nelson sang l was "on the road again." I'll be back next time my car needs a helping hand.

Drove 2 hours to buy a car they had posted on OfferUp after we were told they would send an Uber. Time came and no answer so we paid to get down there only to discover the car advertised as being sold was not the one in the pictures, the real car was not even driveable, was in terrible condition, windows had been down for who knows how long and then this sheisty man had the nerve to ask if we wanted to make a down payment and they would fix what was wrong with it at no cost to us BEWARE SHADY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES

This place is a scam. They did not complete a job which was unsafe then expected to charge another fee to finish the work. Do not go here.Edit. To owners response. You are now not only a smammer but a liar. You can not say visibly when it was a phone call not in person then you say i left. How could i leave after we spoke on the phone about the issue at hand. Not trustworthy at all dont put your car that in their hands especially when precious cargo like small children ride in it.

Took my car to this place in complete working condition (show car) , they took the car apart, then tried saying the car was missing things, took our money, then tried giving us a hard time and left the car in a bare shell and tried giving the car back when it was completely taken apart. Makes no sense. Bad business. Very Unprofessional. Scammers. Do not trust this shop

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS SHOP IN WHITTIER UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY. THE MANAGER THERE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING HE JUST WANTS YOUR MONEY AND YOUR CAR WILL STILL RUN LIKE IT DID WHEN YOU TOOK IT TO THEM IF IT WILL RUN AT ALL.
