Mark is a genius when it comes to repairing these cars!! He knows everything! I will only let him service my car. The only problem is getting an appointment because he is so good.

Mark is a great guy, running a great shop. Lots of needed parts on hand as well. It's the place to go when it comes to 240, 260, and 280z's. My car is going in for the final touches and repairs.

Wanted to do the electronic ignition conversion on my 73 Datsun 620 and decided to go to Mike's Z Shop, Mark is the best! Mark replaced my old points distributor and installed a nice Hitachi "Matchbox" D4K electronic distributor with new coil, wires and spark plugs, he also adjusted the carburator, replaced a leaky freeze plug and fixed some messy stuff around the engine bay, he explained me the improvement and gave me some helpful tips, Mark is a stand up guy, fast, honest and professional, with vast experience and fair prices, definitely will come back again, Thanks Mike's Z Shop, you guys are The Best !! I'll give it 10 stars

Wow what a great experience. Mark is the man. I've been trying to find a rear differential for my 71 240z project. Mark was nice enough to give me a couple hours of his time to dig through his inventory and find what I needed. Mark you are the man thank you very much.

Mark and his crew are by far the best mechanics you will find for any Datsun, Nissan, or Infinity. My '73 Z has been in the capable hands of this shop for years. I highly recommend this shop for the expert mechanical service, outstanding customer service, and the blessing of good people looking to provide each individual customer a friendly experience at a great price. I called and I went to Mike's shop and I was and I been help in an extraordinary way. Mark is an very nice guy, They worked with my 1971 Datsun 240z ( over haul engine, transmission and carburetor rebuilt. And, Wow! my car is like a brand new car. Mark and their crew are the real deal masters mechanics.

Took my '72 240z which needed a complete overhaul for the brakes and fuel system. Got a reasonable estimate and time frame for the job. It s so hard to find a good 300zx mechanic. Mark talks a good game and seems like a great guy. Broke my carbon fiber dash, he glued it but had no reason to remove it in the first place. Told me that there was a loose bolt and he fixed it....there was no loose bolt. He couldn t get to any bolts because previous owner put sound deadener all inside center console. Cost me $650 to buy a new carbon fiber dash...just a bad experience overall.

I have a 1986 300ZX I bought in 2012, and an employee (God Bless him) at a Jiffy Lube recommended Mike's Z Shop. I was having some issue with the car. So, I went to Mike's Z Shop, based upon this fellas recommendation. And, I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! Mark is a man of great integrity (a hard find when it comes to mechanics), as well as, an EXPERT at his craft!!! And, as a WOMAN, an HONEST MECHANIC is almost an oxymoron. However, Mark is the REAL DEAL. He'll NEVER recommend work on your car that is unnecessary. He'll always quote you a FAIR price. And, he's just an around nice guy. LADIES, if you have a Z that requires any repairs. This IS THE PLACE to go to. I promise you, you'll never get ripped off here! These guys have been working on Z's for decades. They know their stuff....

I brought in a 1981 280zx that had sat for over a year. I was quoted between $750 and $1,000 for a head gasket replacement. The next closest quote was $1,250. For $1,000 the head gasket was replaced, timing adjusted, EGR replaced, and, as I was driving out the garage, the windshield wipers were replaced. Very friendly, extremely knowledgeable guys and I will be using them again in the future.

Just bought a beautiful 73 240z from a guy in PHX (stockyard for classic cars) because Im as sentimental as it gets. The car's former mechanic (not a Z guy) botched a carburetor rebuild pretty badly. I searched around and read the reviews for any Z specialists in the southern CA area and decided that Mike's was as specialty as it gets. I told Mark my whole story; how my dad had bought a year one 240z (blue) in Oct 1969, sold it a couple years later cause he bought a boat and needed a truck then was so upset at himself for selling it, he pinched and saved and bought a 72 (green/butterscotch) which he drove til the motor blew up at which time it became my first car. I cut my teeth on that one, pulled the drivetrain, rebuilt and got it on the road. Had that car for about 6 years but it was old and I was young. I lost my dad last year and I've been wanting a small 2nd car recently. LIGHTBULB! Let's get a Z!!!When I dropped the car at Mike's, Mark and I talked about the carbs, replacing the auto 3 speed and since the tranny would be out lets go ahead and throw in a header. Mark called promptly within the next couple days to say he found some bad juju in the carbs and It was a simple & cheap fix but he wanted to get the motor running great before moving on. Awesome customer service is what I thought. They called to give me updates (almost daily) the entire time it was there. Each time, reassured by Mark's demeanor and obvious knowledge and love of the breed. When I walked into the shop after everything was done (so I thought) I was my car on the rack. Sweet! I get to get a good look at all the bushings and mounts. As I get closer I notice... hey theres no drive line, shoot no tranny! I look over to the bench and Number One (I don't know his name but I want his skills) has my tranny apart with gears every where. He says to me almost apologetically for his compulsive behavior, "I heard a noise." Tuns out, when gears are not all cut at the same time they don't always work smoothly. They pull 5th gear and corresponding gears out of another tranny they had at the shop and after diligent inspection threw it together and Mark took it for a road test. They were like a pit crew how fast and obviously knowledgeable they are. These guys eat, sleep, dream "Z"!My car has a master mechanic.

Mark knows his stuff. He's been my mechanic for my Z's for a long time. He has yet to charge me for any check Up's.
