Came on a Friday morning for a smog (STAR) test. The place wasn t busy. The technician helped me right away. I was in and out in approximately 20 minutes. There is a $20 discount if you check in or go to their website. They take cash/ credit card. Regular fee is approximately $75 excluding discount if you show the coupon.

Ok, I have to be honest... I feel like something shady is happening. My paperwork doesn't clarify if I have to get a regular smog, or a star smog. They were confused and one guy says it doesn't need star (the guy that was researching it) and one guy says it does (the guy looked to be the boss). I don't know if anything shady is happening, but it definitely felt weird. It probably does need star because it is old. Other than that, meh.. Ok service. I will follow up when they are done.Edit: we were all good.

This man is not a professional. He is rude and stupid. I went there and waited for a while but he was not able to identify my VIN and was looking for an imaginary tag in my car. I went to another station nearby and got it done in 10 minutes. His place is also very inconveniently located in a main street which is difficult to find.

Drove up and did the light and brake inspection within 10 minutes! Awesome quick friendly service. Other places might be $20 cheaper but you can t beat same day service instead of being told to come back another day. Great guy

I went the other day for a smog check and failed because a "Cylinder Misfire Detection". I immediately called my mechanic who recently worked on my car and was told I needed to drive 40 miles and the issue would be resolved. Rodvin (the man doing the smog check) heard the mechanic say it over the phone and just shrugged his shoulders and said "oh well" and failed me anyways. All he had to do was allow me to drive 40 miles and the error would have been resolved. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE for a loyal customer who has been coming for 10+ years.Service: Smog certification

I took my truck in yesterday and he upped the price (that was printed in his forms) from $60 to $70 and claimed it was more expensive because it was a truck (even though it is only 4 cylinders). I had a coupon that took the $10 off anyway so I didn't gripe about it. Then today my wife takes her car in and he claims there are more tests needed and he has to charge her $80! When she called me to ask about it I told her to leave there and meet me at Uptown Smog on Greenleaf. They did the smog in less than 10 minutes and only charged the normal $60. I told them about our other experience and they said that they hear a lot of complaints about him and that he is full of .
