There is no better automotive business. I've towed my vehicles from SF, SD, and Utah over the past 10 years. Rob, Sidney, and their team are top-notch. Because of their team, I have been able to own/enjoy my n54 for over 10 years and 130k miles. I've traded many cars and motorcycles since owning my 1er. To this day, she still sits in my garage, ready to play. Thank you, Speedlogic. You guys are more a family than business.

The guys at speedlogic are very informative and help you fix the issue at hand before going to do something that you don't necessarily need done on your vehicle. It's very fast and friendly service in at the front desk has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He keeps me updated on what's going on with the project as well as what possibly may need to be fixed as well. I would definitely recommend these guys to anybody looking to do upgrades on their BMW. I'm extremely glad I found Speed Logic Automotive and will absolutely be trusting them as my primary auto shop for my BMW F30. Rob is the most detail oriented and honest shop owner I've ever come across. He's extremely courteous, professional, and communicative. They did an amazing job upgrading my suspension and brakes until everything was tuned perfectly. Rob patiently broke down every level of detail possible to ensure I fully understood advantages and disadvantages of my decisions, and the work was executed perfectly and carefully.Speed Logic portrays a clear level of passion for their craft and treat what they do as an art. This, combined with their honesty and trustworthiness is ultimately the key to being successful in this business, and Speed Logic is well on their way to the top.

If you're looking for an honest, knowledgable, and respectful mechanic Rob is your guy. I just came in for my second time and had some pure stage 2 turbos installed. Rob's customer service is superb. I do not know of any other shops in SoCal in which the mechanic is so passionate about his work. Not only that, but getting to know each other on a personal level. Rob is the owner of his shop and works on every car himself. He puts in hard work and a lot of time in order to make sure whatever needs to be done to be done correctly. I came in for upgraded turbos and an oil leak fix, but Rob went the extra mile and re installed some parts and clamps professionally as I had attempted to install some parts, but were not done perfectly. I also had many questions about the car and he answered every single one. We talked for almost two hours when I was dropping off the car to answer all the questions I had and another hour or so when I came to pick it up. Rob is all about top quality parts and labor, and will educate you on what parts and routes to go with to increase/save the longevity of the car as you up the boost. Again, I cannot be more satisfied with the work he puts in and I'm glad to have such a great mechanic.

These guys really hooked me up new turbos inlets and outlets on my 535i... If you wanna go fast or just want your daily driver to run great go see Ian he will take care of you...

Took my car in for a transmission diagnostic a few months back, was there over the weekend from Friday and left with no advice, no conversation and short $150 on Monday, money isn t the issue for this review.. it s the principle in how it was handled service wise

I started coming here for two reasons. Overall good reviews, but even better the prices on labor were always significantly better than other shops (should ve known better about that). Now, I will no longer come here. Engine work they did fine. Changed my OFHG and exhaust work were done flawlessly. No problems there. Fast forward to getting my wheels and tires mounted there, absolute disaster. They install my wheel studs, spacers, and balance and mount my wheels and tires. Car was shaking starting at 35mph and up. I m given the car back by the owner Rob saying it s all good . You just test drove my car after getting things installed and its all good? I get in the same car and after 10 seconds can tell the wheel balancing is completely off. The whole car is shaking. Long story short no effort is given to diagnose the problem. If you install something on a customers car, you give it back to them in the same condition. If you think your install was correct then prove it isn t the actual parts. Instead they find a crack in a control arm and out of laziness to diagnose the actual install of the wheels and tires the tech says its your control arms. So I buy those and have them change them and what do you know problem still there. So I take the wheels to Americas Tire and so far the rear drivers was completely off balance. They rebalanced and put the weights in completely different spots and the wheel shake is almost non existent now. I think that calls for a refund, as the job wasn t done correctly. Also, they DO NOT road force balance. So if you want that they don t have it.What really set me off is when I was scheduled for alignment afterwards at 11am and my car wasn t even taken to the alignment shop until 3:30p. The car was returned to me after 6pm. I wasted my entire day walking around there business (which has two actul car chairs on the floor for customers to wait. probably the worst waiting area i ve ever been to) for something that should ve taken two hours max. And they still never diagnosed my wheel shake yet they looked at it . No one ever apologized for the delay. No compensation was given. There wasn t even an offer to come back at a later day because of the delay. What a big disappointment from this shop. You can do better Rob. As a business you should provide better customer service. There s so many other shops people can go to. Never forget that.

Speed Logic is amazing!� Top quality work at unbeatable prices.� Brought my 335i in for walnut blasting a few months ago and it was by far the best experience I have ever had getting work done on my car.� Rob was very knowledgable, friendly, and clear with all communication.� He was happy to let me inspect the intake before and after the cleaning which I really appreciated.� I live almost 400 miles away, but for any work I can't tackle myself I will be bringing my car here.

I can't even describe how satisfied I am taking my car to Speed Logic. Rob is the most honest and genuine person to work on your car who will give you his honest opinion through his years of experience. There's no shop that will take the time, dedication, and offer GREAT prices for these cars, which I saw as he installed my 7.5in FMIC and took many pictures of the steps along the way. Rob treats his customers like family and you will not be disappointed bringing your car with him. He is the only person who I can recommend to bring your car too and I will be bringing my 135i too in the future!

Rob is the best mechanic I have ever seen in auto industry. He is very professional'honest'and super reasonable person.Rob will do everything to make you happy .The best auto repair business to take your vehicle to. Fantastic customer service delivered by every employees. I feel comfortable bringing my business here all the way from elk Grove northern California for a carbon deposit cleaning at a fraction of a price I would have paid to these big greedy BMW dealerships.It was a long drive but it was worth it.Really big shop with modern equipment .So go ahead do your self and your German car a favor and see Rob.He will do everything to make it comfortable for you.Thank you Rob

Rob is an amazing owner. And his crew is awesome. Guys always produce quality work and stand by it. I've sent my car to them several times and have had nothing but a great experience. Would recommend them for basic maintenance and aftermarket needs

Excellent customer service. I called for a walnut blast for my N54 and they were able to take it in the same day. They had my car ready in about 2 hours and the car ran buttery smooth. Highly recommend!

Rob is absolutely amazing. He does run a very fast pace shop and get a lot done with his time. The quality of his work, matched with the fair prices he offers makes it an absolute no brainer. His extensive knowledge of the BMW brand and E 90/92 platform is very apparent. I drove quite some distance to get here, and don t regret it. I passed multiple BMW dealerships on the way here and I wouldn t think twice about bringing my BMW anywhere else but here. He completed lots of work on my 328i. Rob - the owner - is a class act, and the guy to go to when you have an issue or need parts for your BMW. I have bounced around many local European shops, but now drive 2 hours each way to have him take care of difficult-to-diagnose issues on my highly modified N54 135i, and have heard of other enthusiasts driving even farther. His pricing and service is just that good, and when it comes to chasing down issues and pushing the car hard to expose weaknesses (if requested), there is simply no one better.He also really takes the time to explain what he's doing before he does it, and works extremely hard to earn your trust. From the amount of time he spends in the shop, it is abundantly clear that working on these cars is a passion or even obsession for him, and that's exactly the kind of person you want as your mechanic. Can't recommend highly enough!

I've known Rob for over a year now and have always come to him for any issue or mod for my bmw. Even after moving up to San Fransisco I still bring my car down all the way here to get any work done. Why? First and foremost Rob charges way less for work that is on par with, if not better than any other shop I've been to. That's without taking into account the amazing service Rob provides, he documents every step of the job with high quality photos and will always be super up front and clear about the work he put in and any issues along the way. Basically I trust that not only is he not going to screw me over, but that he will go above and beyond to ensure that the work he does is at the level he'd do working on his own car. Take my last oil cooler install, Rob quoted me $1000 less than the next best shop with parts and labor AND he put in extra hours getting my front bumper to sit flush even though the kit prevented the bumper from fitting properly.Another reason I love taking my car here is the advice I get. In fact Rob has even convinced me not to buy certain parts from him because after consulting with him and his experiences, I realized it wasn't what I needed. At the end of the day Rob is more than just my mechanic, he's a good friend and I genuinely enjoy spending time at the shop while he works on my car. I'd absolutely recommend this place for anyone and have been doing so ever since my first experience here. I've known a lot of shops and mechanics but Rob at Speedlogic is without doubt the best I've ever seen.

My vehicle was damaged at the shop, and they only only paid half the deductible. They installed M3 control arms, I didn t find out that they didn t align the car after taking it to another shop a month later, very negligible to say the least. They also never returned my stock down pipe, I have been asking for it since they removed it with texts to prove it. Now I need to smog my car and all they can say is look at the forums to try and acquire one or ask a friend lol! Basically they either sold or lost my down pipe and I m screwed. I now have to purchase one for over $1000. Not to mention they failed to diagnose and fix my squeaky engine compartment after multiple visits. Everything is documented with exact dates and receipts.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning

Rob at speed logic is the best mechanic around. I have a 335is and been to a few other mechanics and none were as honest and friendly as him. He treated my car like it was his own. Got a walnut blast (has videos to show before and after) not too long ago and gave me lots of tips about my N54. Very noligable about Bmws and tuning. And to top everything off, he has the lowest prices you can find anywhere. Will be going back when I need anything done. Definitely message him or give him a call and you will see. Thank you Rob.

Good mechanics are hard to come by. Honest mechanics are even harder. But good honest mechanics, they almost seem non-existent. I first heard about this shop online through a byword of a online forum. I am so glad I have come across this shop. Rob is the most honest, upfront mechanic in this field of cars you will ever come across. He's upfront, and he's dead honest. He isn't going to screw you over. As matter of fact, any little thing that changes, he picks up the phone and he lets you know. He gives you daily updates of what's going on and he doesn't try to sell you on things you don't need, nor will he throw parts at you without your verbal consent.Rob's prices are also reasonable. What shocked me about most mechanics who specialize on my car platform is how expensive it is to still have general service done to these cars. Rob is fair and beyond reasonable. You will not have a heart attack at the end of your repair, big or small.My case is my car needed turbo service, as well as some other maintenance things. From the first phone call I had with Rob, he told me everything to expect and a general pricing quote. No other mechanic does this because they are going to try and charge you for what they can. I had my car towed to him, and I got to speak with him. Rob knows what he's talking about and you feel like your in good hands the second you step into his shop. If you have an N54 or N55, don't go anywhere else. Rob is the guy to go with. He's honest. I can't say that enough. He's super honest and upfront which is a rarity in car mechanics these days. 5 stars just isn't enough for him.

I found Rob on one of the bmw forums. Most recently I went to Rob because I was experiencing boost issues and after having another mechanic fail to diagnose the problem, I knew that Rob would probably be my best bet at finally fixing the issue even though he's almost an hour drive for meRob was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem for a very very fair price. If you own an n54 or n55, Rob is definitely the guy to go. He is really passionate about these cars and thoroughly explains everything before he does the repairs as well as after he has finished. Rob is and will be my go to mechanic while I'm back in LA.

Great honest people.My son has a 2018 BMW 540i engine is B58, and he wanted to do bootmod3 with downpipe to get all the sound of bangs and pops so I have found speed logic on yelp, and they are very responsive to all the questions.My son took the car in for stage 2, and they replaced the spark plugs, install downpipe and bootmod3.The car was amazing with all the sounds that he wanted, and 2 weeks later I made a huge mistake by taking the car to BMW dealership to repair the front grill, and they updated all the computer system so after that no more sounds.I have contacted speed logic, and there is no way to do the bootmod3 in any updated BMW software for 2020 and 2021.If you have any tune in your car don't it to a dealer for any service.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

Rob at Speed Logic was extremely helpful with information on the build I wanted as well as the actual install (e92 335i FMIC, catless DPs, DCI, oil catch can, transmission tune, BOV, chargepipe). He exhibited great patience and customer service while I figured out exactly what I wanted as well as when I wanted to make everything happen. When it came time to make everything happen, Rob worked with me on my schedule and installed everything when he said he would. I am writing this review a couple months after the work he did and everything is running great. I have my car checked up at my local shop monthly and I am having no issues with the car and the parts installed. Rob is one of the most standup mechanics/custom car work specialists I have ever met and would consider him as your first option for custom work. THANK YOU ROB.

If you drive a bmw, especially N54/N55, no need to look any further for the perfect shop. I was always in search for the right place to take my n54 335i for a few years and was let down by multiple shops and not satisfied... then I finally met Rob, aka Master of N54. Hands down, no one can compare to the quality and service that Speed logic provides. Rob will take care of you and get you back on the street in no time wether it is for maintenance , performance , or anything!! He always explains everything in detail and helps understand what is going on. There has never been a single time that I left the shop and didn t learn something new or was not satisfied. Every time I go to pick up my car, I m always positive that everything was done 110% the way it was supposed to be. Rob loves what he does and he is always honest and fair. If you need the right shop to work on your bmw, I highly recommend you close your eyes and take your car to Speed Logic. You won t regret it.

Brought in my Mini for a walnut blast. Their pricing is great and their customer service is wonderful! A part on my Mini fell apart and broke during the blast, and while I did have to pay for the new part, they did not charge me for the installation. I will definitely return in 40,000 miles when my Mini needs another walnut blast! Thank you!

I found out about rob from forums and decided to hit him up to see what was up with my car. Right off the bat he treated me like a friend he knew for several years, and answered any of my questions with no hesitation. Whenever I ask him anything, not only does he answer my question, he goes above and beyond and is such a knowledgable guy. Without him I wouldn't of modded my car at all, and I completely trust him with my car which is something that is hard to do these days since you have no clue what is going on once your car is dropped off. Rob walks you through the whole process and then some, while updating you on progress and filling you in on everything so you know exactly what he is doing. He uses OEM parts and does everything legit, and is an extremely hard worker. I've now moved 5 hours away from SoCal, but if I ever need any help with my 335i I won't hesitate to drive down just to go to him. He knows everything about BMWs and is so experienced that all maintenance and installations are like breathing air for him. Do yourself a favor and hit him up!!

Rob is the man to go to with any bmw,n54,n55. He is the only one I trust with my car, and there is a reason I've brought in my car for the past four year. It's as simple as trust, a good business, and the only shop who actually stands behind thier work!!!!
