Hands down Best automotive shop experience I've ever had. I've been a mechanic myself for many years and when you work on cars all day the last thing you want to do is work on more on your free time. So I take my personal vehicles here. It's a family run business, the owner Jerry is a real honest guy with a small town personality. They are extremely professional and their prices are better than anywhere else I have been. This is the only place I trust with my vehicles.

I brought my 2013 Ford Explorer in with gear shifting issues. I was thinking the worse with potential transmission problems. Turned out to be a loose nut and bolt on the linkage. Miguel and team were very honest. he even charged half price of the original estimate for the diagnostic. Great Job! I had Brian help me out with replacing my mounts along with a transmission service and am extremely happy and thankful for his service. He is completely professional and very knowledgeable. Do not take your vehicle here,, what was a simple thermostat change,, ended up in needing a new transmission. Had them fix the transmission,, only to find a puddle of oil on my driveway the day after took it back and they stated that I needed a new engine..

Jerry has been doing transmission work for all my father's work vehicles and now mine. Absolutely best work at a reasonable price. Recently upgraded my transmission so it could tow better. Do yourself a favor and get it done right, there's a reason they have grown and stayed in business.

Excellent service, I needed a transfer case replacement for my Ford explorer and Jerry was able to find me a used one in good condition, which saved me a bunch of money. The car was ready when they said it would be. Would definitely recommend them.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Miguel and Jerry, are very honest and personable. I brought my car here twice now for different jobs and both experiences were great. Prices are fair and the work they do is of quality. Not to mention their nationwide warranty on rebuilds! Don't be fooled by their name, they do a whole lot more than just transmissions.

I trust these guys with my life. I am in my car more than I am in my bed. Honest and reasonably priced. Jerry has never suggested anything that I didn't need done. And when the dealer said that I needed something done on my car, Jerry's price was about 1/2 of the dealers quote. I LOVE these guys (and Albery).

Took my chevy blazer in for a complete transmission rebuilt. Jerry sweet talked me saying that they only use genuine parts for all rebuilt. Come to find out they opened it replace only certain parts that need replacing and slapped it back together. Which also took them 3+ months to complete the first time there. Took it back 3 separet time for hard shifting,leaks,hard engagement when putting it into gears and eveytime told me nothing was wrong probably never even looked at it just let it sit there. Took it back a final time for a rear differentials seal leak and denied me told me they were super busy for them to take time a do a leaking seal. Paid them 3k for a bad workmanship rebuilt. Ive never written a review about a business but i dont like getting taking advantage of and Goldenwest Transmission is exactly what they did to me! Steer away from them if you can. There is many reputable Transmission shops out there that will do a much better job for the same price. I was honestly trying to help a local business out, but instead they took advantage of me and charged me premium pricing.

I LOVE taking my car to Goldenwest! They are honest. Grant and Jerry are the best. They won't sell you work that does not need to be done. I have taken my car there for years, and highly recommend them to EVERYONE!

Can't say enough about the great service that I have received from Jerry and his staff. I had a co worker that swore by them, then found out my family used them as well, now I use them and recommend them to anyone that asks me if I know of a reliable place to take their car.....If you want honest work and outstanding work ethic I highly recommend Goldenwest Transmission.

Took in my stick car in cause it was jumping out of gear. Amazed they never looked at it first. Just jumped in and came back saying I needed new transmission. Took it to Jiffy lube in Westminster and found low on gear oil. Cleared up within a week.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Well I will say my situation with my transmission in my Ford F150 was very complex, And I will say that Jarry and his staff stayed on the problem until it was figured out and they fixed it and now my transmission is working great ! I highly recommend Goldenwest Transmission if your haveing transmission problems as they will figure it out ,I had my transmission completely rebuilt by them and I'm impressed how good its working now , it took some figuring out by they did it and I thank them for that ! Great staff nice and friendly and very helpful ... and they guarantee there work..and there proud of there work they do...I trust them 100% to do the job and so can you .

I can't put into words how disappointed I am with this company.Yeah sure, they've been around a long time, they're good with people and polite, make good conversation, etc etc.BUT. What you don't know until it's too late, is they LOVE. And I mean LOVE. Ripping people off. Spent what, $2200? To replace what needed to be replaced.AND SOMEHOW MISSED THE DEAD TRANSMISSION!Managed to fix a few things that did need to be done.But, yet, missed the one thing, they "specialize" in.They also did work without asking or telling me about it until my bill was due.I sold my truck to a mechanic, that got T-boned 3 days after buying it because guy what?The transmission finally gave out, got hit and the driver was going 40-50 MPH or so.I'm very glad me, my son and wife weren't in it when it happened. I would heavily Suggest finding someone else to do to. These guys just want your money, they don't care about you or situation, your truck/car/van, whatever you can bring in, they'll find something wrong and uh oh! There something else too!Very, very angry. Wasted my money and time on guys that just wanted money. Dishonest, greedy and very fake.

I first came here (recommended by friend) about 15 years ago for a trans leak, it cost around $12 dollars to fix (yes $12), it was just a cracked plastic tub. These guys are honest and can be trusted (this is priceless in today's automotive world), I have never gone anywhere else in the last 15 years, for any repairs, they do almost everything automotive, and if they cannot, they will point you to someone else who can (and can be trusted). The key word here is trust, I cannot say it enough, it is priceless. My only complaint is that they're not open Saturdays or Sundays, but, one time Jerry offered to come in on the weekend to finish a job so I could get my kids out to the desert in our RV. You cannot go wrong bringing your car, truck or RV here.

Every time I take one of our vehicles in for repair, these guys are the best. They take you in to see what needs to be fixed. They make sure you are aware of what the job consists of and what is the cost. Thank you Jerry, Miguel, and Aubrey!!!

More than words can't describe the lengths Jerry, Miguel, & crew will go to service customers, and sure it spills over into areas you just do not experience every day. Certainly, a very big reason they've occupied the same location in a valuable area in our neighborhoods for the time they have. Even during the difficult/unsettling C19 developments. Thank you thus far, and looking forward to working with you more when needs arise. So, if you believe you have a transmission problem whether stranded, or limping. Just say, "tow it there."Comments are not from paid actors, but real reviews from real customers.

Goldenwest transmission is the best! Brought my GMC Terrain here after another transmission shop didn't have a clue about my transmission but thanks to Jerry & Miguel they got my terrain going like almost brand new, they really came thru above & beyond and I highly recommend golden west transmission to whoever wants professional quality work on their vehicle. Thanks again Jerry & Miguel

Highly recommend this place, very professional Jerry help me get in my Cadillac ATSV back in the road with the rear differential, The price was very good and better than other places, he had my car ready the next day, the best in tow let me tell you that, thank you guys!!!!

These guys aren't honest. They try to get you in with a cheap quote then after you're in they try to get you to fix things that aren't broken. Stay away! Look into their other reviews around. Not good after it was sold to very bad people you should beware and steer clear.
